Morning all!! So many precious babies lately, fun to wake up to!!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day, especially @kosmo86 and @MojieJo (and anyone else whose today is baby day).
I've got the day off and 3rd day of a slightly runny nose and a super sore spot on the back of my throat where said nose drips all night. Ready for that to be over!!
@UnwritteN12 I hope it gets easier with E&R, and that you guys find your new routine quickly! I'll be thinking of you next Monday!

Re all the randos and drive bys, I think this has been mentioned before, but the reason for it is that it's almost September. Seriously, the randos come out of the woodwork as it gets closer. They're as anxious as we are to meet their babies.
Random... It's my birthday! DH took the day off, and if the rain holds off, we are going to the zoo! Rain or not, the three of us are going downtown for lunch. Also getting delicious birthday cake from a local baker.
@AnnaS930 Boo to the sore throat and drippy nose! I really hope that it disappears for you quickly.
I can relate as I've had a sore throat for 2 weeks now but 2 strep tests and 1 throat culture came back negative. Bloodwork show low white blood cells and high ESR so doctor just thinks I'm run down and fighting some random virus. I can't wait to swallow without pain - cold watermelon is my favorite these days!
Captains log, day 2 0815 hours: Let the contractions Begin!
I am offically started on pictocin and starting to feel pretty uncomfortable! Had a hard time falling asleep last night and at 2am they gave me some bendryl. Then after 3 hours of glorious sleep I was awoken at 5am to remove the cervidil. Since I was softer and slightly more dialated they started me on pitocin at 6am. So far just random contraction but they are picking up the pace and intensity. Hopefully we will be seeing Alice soonish!

@KimmySchmidt I'm slowly learning the names of everyone in the FB group but I have to admit I'm awful about signing with my TB name on my FB posts. Hoping since I was so uncreative with this username that people still recognize me lol.
@VeraMali You are one I recognize without you signing your bump sn basically for the reason you mentioned. I'm getting better at recognizing people's real names, and recognize most of the regulars on here by real name now. Others, I'm totally clueless on and have to refer to the spreadsheet if they don't sign it.
@camichael84 I usually just try looking at their picture before going to the spreadsheet, if they have their real picture on here or post regularly in HDBD then I can usually recognize them. I'm one of those people better with faces than names though.
Im feeling like @AnnaS930 lately, like I'll be pregnant forever. Not because I feel like I should have her by now, but because I just keep thinking of things like I'll be pregnant in November. It hasn't sunk in yet that I will no longer be pregnant, guaranteed, by early October. It's really weird.
It does help though that I scheduled family pictures for Nov 4th with the photographer that did my maternity photos. So that's a reminder that I will definitely have a baby then.
Re:SS posts. I just think it's weird, not so much that the posts are happening, but that everyone commenting on them is also a rando. So weird.
Having contractions every 8-10 mins that I doubt will turn into anything but considering this is more then I had with my first I am thrilled to know what they feel like!

Im sitting in my OBs waiting room...US growth scan. I also got them to switch my weekly appointment to today instead of coming back tomorrow morning...winning. With all the BH i had last night im a little worried to wait another full day without really knowing whats going on... Stomach is definitely feeling weird this morning... Shes getting close.
@mhilpisch10 Haha I did the same thing this morning. I got cramps on the way to work and was mumbling to myself in the car. I'm sure dd thinks I'm crazy eta: TB ate my post
thanks everyone who asked how I was feeling. I got a late start to the day this morning due to lack of sleep last night. MW said to lay low today since contractions are only 10-20 minutes apart. I had a few that woke me out of my sleep. I am just going to enjoy this last day of being pregnant because I am probably never doing this again

So so far this morning we've had a glass of milk spilled so far that it wet three walls and the floor / everything in between. It was a child size cup. Followed by knocking over a bowl of milk and Cheerios. Followed by my visiting BIL telling me he left DD's brand new keens at the spray ground yesterday.
@Rock1Cherry - I'm sorry yesterday was so rough, especially emotionally. I know I definitely feel out of whack some days and things I would normally take in stride (like a restaurant being closed) can cause a massive emotional breakdown! I think the emotional roller coaster is absolutely hellish. Hang in there, and I hope today is a much better today for you!
@kosmo86 - Getting closer!! I just picture her as this perfect pint-sized Alice in Wonderland because of her name (and, if my PP brain isn't deceiving me, you love Alice in Wonderland).
@mamadomino - I do believe you're the last regular twin mom!!

Thanks for thinking about me ladies! Kinda slow going over her. contraction are about 5 minutes apart but not really intense. They're at 18 miliunits of pitocin, once they get to 20 they stop for a couple hours with the potential to stop the pitocin for a couple of rest hours. Really hoping it doesn't come to that. Baby alice needs to get her butt in gear lol.

My kid has been playing in the tub for almost two hours. He is happy and contained and I get to sit and watch. I'm gonna have to take him out soon though--the kid is a prune!
