I don't understand those post with random people either, I guess because we are getting close to September more people are joining? I guess this is not just a pregnancy board and people join when they give birth or are close to their due date? This is my first BMB so I am only speculating.

@mamadomino - I asked DH the same thing with R&E. Not because I was too tired though. Because I realized what I was actually getting myself into. Although I feel you on the being tired part. BTW, how are you doing in general? You're getting really close, yeah?
@UnwritteN12 only 35 weeks, so hopefully a week or two yet. The last few days have gotten considerably harder. I think if I could figure out a way to sleep I wouldn't feel as bad. But I know the only relief is giving birth... And then I have two newborns to take care of! Neither sounds like a great option right now!!
Hang in there @mamadomino!! I agree on hoping for another week or 2 though! While I'm thinking of all the ladies here as September gets closer, I find myself thinking especially about the twin moms and wondering how they're doing. Speaking of, @Ssoccerball and @Trgree1712, if you see this, hope you and the LOs are doing well!!
My DH went out for a while this evening and woke me up when he got home. Then he got pissy when I asked how long it would be before he went to bed since I knew he would wake me up again when he did that. And, of course, now he is in bed asleep and I am awake in pain and desperate to fall back asleep. I sometimes wish he could feel what 8.5 months pregnant feels like for just a little while. He's a great hubby--but could use an empathy boost right about now! Just two more weeks....
@Sporty1216! No sleep tonight? Hope you can get comfortable and get some rest. We are having similar DH issues. Also read your Monday bitchfest post. I'm awake because I realized DH went out with his friend who is in town which made me mad since he has to work in the morning. Well, I guess he's taking the day off so they can fix the shed and a bunch of other projects. How am i supposed to do my nesting when my nest is a construction zone?! And as soon as i fall asleep tonight I'm sure he'll come home, fall asleep and start snoring. And then I'll be awake again. Blah.
Nope. No sleep tonight, @BernieRae! Man-nesting is so real and so annoying. Haha. I think it's a real thing--even though I don't think my DH would totally recognize it as such, I feel like it's their way of controlling something before the birth happens and they feel out of control and sort of observers as we give birth and do all of that initial newborn stuff. I try to keep that more generous perspective when I can...but it gets hard on little sleep and with aches and pains of third tri. Hope you can get some sleep and don't get woken up...

After my horrible day yesterday, I had the bestttt sleep and woke up feeling very rested. I have a dr's appt to discuss yesterday, but hoping things just go as usual. Send me baby baking, low BP vibes please

I'm also on the boat about why the heck there are so many weirdo random posts lately. Along those same lines, I find it so weird that so many people who have never posted more than like 1 or 2 things here want to be in the FB group so badly. Why do you want to be in a FB group with a bunch of women that you never talked to in the first place? If that's the case, they can find any number of local or non-local to them FB mommy groups to join that I'm sure they'd enjoy just as much. Strangers either way.
Also, our LO had her newborn session today! I was a bit stressed about it last night and we had to get up super early to mitigate rush hour traffic to get to the studio, but she was an absolute champ!

Hell, the actual fb group contains a lot of strangers as far as I'm concerned. I'm admittedly bad with names, and I'm not on here as much as some, but seeing plenty of names popping up that are totally unfamiliar to me.

i was walking my dog yesterday and some lady was taking her garbage out. She asked when I was due. "3 weeks". "3 WEEKS?!?!" When people react like that, it can go one of two ways. I always wait for either the "you look like you are 42 weeks with twins" or the "wow you're so small". It was the latter. Which always makes me feel good. But then she says "I thought you'd be due December or January". It took everything in me not to laugh. Sweet, sweet lady, but so ridiculous. I am not that small but thank you.
Holy insomnia last night... I really could use a nap today (common theme of everyone at this point). Next best thing...going to a routine check up and then a massage wooooooooooo!
I had a glorious sleep last night - Sorry to brag but I feel great minus my achy puffy hands! Plus, I had progress on organizing and putting away all my baby clothes after having the nursery painted on the weekend and final furniture delivered.

Guy's, I'm gonna loose it on the big kids if they can't get their acts together real quick! I know it's only the third day of school but the morning routine is not new! It's the same as last year. Bless his heart, DH has been the one getting them ready (non-matching outfits and all ). But, come Monday, it's all me since he won't be home from work by the time they catch the bus. It's hard enough some mornings with just the 2 of them but now I've got 2 very unpredictable infants to add to the mix. I don't have rime for the arguing, pouting and overall slowpoke behavior. Ugh. I'm thinking I may be crying by the time they leave Monday morning.
