and @Sarafuss -- sorry to hear about the stressful weight loss! My guy lost a ton after birth too and we had to supplement for a while. They also had me waking him up to feed every two hours around the clock. He was jaundiced and very sleepy, so I had to work hard to keep him awake by stroking his chin/cheek and/or rubbing his chest. He gained really fast once he started gaining. I hope your guy can pick up his intake and get some weight back soon.
@Sarafuss sorry to hear Lucas is not gaining weight as quickly as the doctors would like. I really hope he has a speedy turn around so he doesn't need time at the hospital. Good luck mama!
@Sarafuss We had weight loss issues (>10%) with DD too, it's not uncommon. Hope he turns it around with nursing and the pumped milk! I know it's heartbreaking to worry about littlest guy, but I bet he'll figure it out super soon. Cheering you both on!
@Sarafuss strip that baby down to a diaper for feeds, we did that when E was a bit jaundiced rl get such light on his body and helped keep him more awake/alert
Awww @geminigirl16 . I know how you feel! I had my mid-wife appt today at 36+4 weeks and was shocked to learn I am 2cm dilated and 70% effaced. She said he is SO LOW. She was so surprised since I haven't noticed any contractions nor spotting or anything. She made it sound like a big deal to be a FTM and to be progressing so nicely. She said it is no indicator of when I will deliver but said it is a good sign that it won't be a long marathon labor that a lot of FTM go through. So there is always that! But she did say she would be surprised to make it to 41 weeks like I have been hoping. LOL. But you are not alone! This was a cold splash of reality that I def needed. This baby is coming and there is a good chance it will be sooner rather than later!
@MojieJo I am sorry to hear about your tooth! I hope it is fixed and feeling better and that everything goes well tomorrow for your c-section!

@blondie080300 Thanks! I'm really, really hoping it's an easy fix and that they can repair whatever I managed to do to myself tomorrow so I don't have to be in pain when I meet my boys on Wednesday.
I hate going to the dentist, so this is one of my worst nightmares, but at least they could get me in before my c/s.

I'm not bumping as much as this is the last few days before my c/so and I'm trying to spend as much time with DD as I can BUT I am still pregsomnia lurking at night. I just wanted to say congratulations on all of the squishes born today, they are beautiful ladies!!!

Ahhh I'm so excited and feeling so greatful. I've mentioned here before that I teach an outdoor bootcamp workout group a couple of mornings per week, and this morning my ladies surprised me with our convertible car seat!!! I never expected it, it was a total shock and I can officially say I have the best group of bootcamp ladies ever. Best Tuesday morning I could ask for!

My random is I woke up this morning to pee at 530 (pretty much everyday) and I turned on the tv so I wouldn't bump into everything. I had totally forgotten that "Married w Children" is on TBS during the wee hours of the morning. When I was postpartum last time, I remember waking up for super early morning feeds and lOoking forward to watching the ridiculousness of the show
My day today: work 7:30-3:00...drive 30 minutes to pick up my daughter...drive an hour in traffic to take her to gymnastics from 4:30-5:15....jet her home and drive 25 minutes back to work for Back-to-School Night from 6:00-7:30.......kill me now
Morning all - glad a few of you have checked in to say you're busy.. was wondering about you yesterday. Feeling pretty blah right now.. happy to be 38 weeks but dreading the due date coming and going and still being knocked up, which I know is really ridiculous to worry about, especially at 38 weeks but just finally hitting the stage of "I might be pregnant forever". Hoping to snap out of it, only at work until 3 today since my husband works late, then picking up E at daycare, spending the evening with him.. and a couch date with 2 hours of Teen Mom OG after he goes to bed. Boo yea. Also, tomorrow looks like a beach day and my husband and I are both off!

My random is that the weather has been amazing the last couple days and is again today. We had the best day at the park on Sunday, and an awesome walk last night. Tomorrow is my birthday, and it's supposed to rain. But nothing is going to ruin the day for me because birthday cake!!!
Nothing like telling your boss you are dilated and have her ask you what your plan is if you go into labor at work! I told her my plan was to leave....lol. I guess I need to think more strategically about putting an out of office up or something. Haha. Anyone else have a "plan" for going into labor at work?

My random - I slept amazingly last night! It was blissful. I actually woke up feeling rested and energized! And put that energy towards Lysol-ing the house since DD and DH are sick and I'm desperately trying to avoid catching the bug! I was productive before 8am! I call that a win!
@camichael84 - happy birthday eve! We've had a bit of a fall breeze blowing around lately.. and when we woke up this morning I had pulled my comforter on over night! So wonderful! Outdoor thermometer read 58!!! And today's high is only 75. Tomorrow is looking like 82, but the rest of the week is high 70s.. I can handle that!

Aw I'm sorry to abandon you! I've been Leslie Knope-ing a project at work and worked diligently all day like a good little human. But I'm almost done and now im back!
Fiancé gets major points. I guess he found my excel sheet where I made an inventory of everything we own and what we need to buy, saw what we needed and when he was at the store he remembered we need a new food processor and bought one!
