We plan on getting our boys matching "big brother" t-shirts and getting a few pictures of them together. The headline will read, "Ben is teaching Ezra all the tricks of his trade".
This was how we announced public with DD, it was Halloween, I worked in a preschool and my girlfriends and I all dressed as m&m's, so I thought I'd work that in lol

We aren't a super cutesy, photo op type couple. But DS is pretty adorable and excited. So we just posted this little picture with a blub about how he was very excited to announce he is going to be a big brother.
@mcdonald-bailey your announcement is too precious brought tears to my eyes.
I am past the second trimester, so we're ready to announce... But I have yet to decide how. Haha. So we're delaying till we can find something cute. I have some photo ideas, but we've been so busy. Second baby is already getting way less attention. Haha.
@mcdonald-bailey is that the JellyCat bunny with the bell in it? If so we have the exact same one, I bought it for my daughter when I was about 8 months pregnant Such a sweet annocument too, I don't think anyone can read that onesie and not get some tears in their eyes.

Yes it's the same one. It was actually the only toy I bought for my last child who we lost late so I feel like I had to include it. Although, my sister told me it looks like I'm announcing its a girl. I still don't know what I'm having yet.
@mcdonald-bailey I kinda had a feeling that the bunny was for your little girl. I don't think it looks like an announcement for another girl. To me it's clear that the bunny is on the side of the sister onesie and so representing her. Just beautiful.

Is this the same sister that knows what you're having?

We posted ours on Facebook today! We were going to wait a couple more weeks, but we had our 10 year high school reunion this weekend and I thought it was the perfect chance to tell people in person who I rarely get to see. So now that so many people know, we decided we may as well make it "Facebook official", lol. And my family has known for about a month. We used a combo of this pic and another one where my son is looking at the camera, but he wouldn't smile, haha!
@mrsyimster I totally get it! I need to think of something cute like this to do.
DH and I are not cutesy photo people, so we don't want to be in our announcement (but I think it's cute for couples that do!) and this is our first, so no adorable big brother/sister photos either. We are getting to the point where I need to start thinking about how to announce.... but I honestly am coming up with a blank!
My DH was born in Russia so we thought it would be cute to use Russian nesting dolls for our announcement if we decide to do one. Thanks to DH for his awesome photographer skills to help pull it off lol! He is also going to do his own announcement on his photography page using cameras- saying something like "Developing soon in March 2017".
So our anniversary falls on Labor Day and I'll be 11 weeks then....initially I thought that'd be much too early to announce but I just feel like the combination of those being on the same day is too perfect not to (and feel better knowing things are going well after my US/appt this week), so I got a cute "I'm going to be a Big Brother....March 2017" bandana for our dog and we'll probably post a photo of him wearing it with some little anniversary blurb.
I order cards that we are going to give out/mail. This is the front and the back has our Weim & Lab with wagging tails and says coming March 2017. Our first baby and everyone knows we treat our dogs as our children now lol!
