Need help from STMs: I really want to get the below baby bunting, because lets be honest we're overly Bills obsessed. But I was at the checkout point and realized it might not work for baby when in a carseat. The whole purpose was for something cute to put LO in this fall when traveling. Is it doable or is this a big no-no?
@LakeR2014 that won't work in a car seat and also anything too thick is a no-no. But you can always put it on baby when you get to wherever you're going. I'm constantly putting coats on and off my daughter.
@frogdog06 She's here!!! What a cute photo, loving your mini-me with the side eye. And @UnwritteN12 great photo! Looking forward to seeing one of all four soon. Hope you get to bring your babies home soon!
Having a sore throat and earache sucks so bad while pregnant. I would love for some cold meds / throat lozenge right about now. Tylenol never does anything for me
@Steephers123 Just curious...does your fb group have any tips for getting dry erase marker stains out of clothes? My mom gave my girls dry erase boards and they got marker on 4 of their shirts. I should just give up, but I'm determined to get the stains out. I've been trying acetone and it seems to have gotten a bit better, but I wonder if I should try something else.
@LizC216 Looks like they're suggesting Murphys Oil Soap, and a lot of scrubbing. I guess dry erase marker is really hard to get out I'm dreading graduating to tougher stains

I can't see it well enough to know. If it has slits for the crotch strap of the car seat and it is made of a lightweight material like fleece, then it would be great. If it doesn't meet both of those requirements, then it would not be safe.
I reccomend an infant car seat cover, that is basically like a fleece blanket that fits over the outside of the seat like a shower cap. I have a JJ Cole one, but anything that goes over the top of the child and the straps should be safe.
@frogdog06 congratulations!! Love the sassy side eye, looks like the ladies of the house will be ganging up on daddy! Glad everyone is healthy after what sounds like a very eventful day for you guys!
@UnwritteN12 I'm so glad to hear that things are going well, what a great picture of you guys! Hoping everyone gets to come home soon!
Congratulations @frogdog06!! She is so precious! Great job!!
After taking a Benadryl and DH rubbing my legs with relaxing lotion last night, I am more refreshed than I have been in a while and my legs cramps are better. Hoping they don't get worse throughout the day!
@LakeR2014 that's a big no-no. Snows suits, bunting, thick coats or outfits none of those are car seat safe. You want those straps nice and secure against baby not fabric and fluff in case of a crash baby could come right out of the seat in those. It's best to just take them out with a blanket over them in the seat or one of those covers like someone above showed otherwise you will be doing a lot of taking off & putting on of coats etc.
@frogdog06 Congratualtions! She is absolutely perfect!
@UnwritteN12 I'm so glad to hear she's coming out of NICU and hopefully Oliver will be right behind her!
@LakeR2014 That won't work for a car seat. Basically baby can wear thin layers and then be strapped in, nothing thicker than fleece. The way that is made looks like it would really interfere with getting baby strapped in properly, especially around the legs. I bought several of the snowsuit type bunting outfits for DD1 and barely ever used them. A blanket is so much easier for smaller babies than getting them in/out of something like that.
@UnwritteN12 I hope they both get out of NICU soon and can be with you! Love the pic with your big kids!
I'm so disappointed that my appt today with my MFM was cancelled because she's out sick. I was supposed to see the NP on Monday (at 36 weeks exactly) but had rescheduled it a few weeks ago so that I could see my primary MFM (I see a group of MFM's) since I hadn't seen her in awhile. And now they rescheduled for tomorrow morning to see the NP. I could have seen her Monday! I'm just so uncomfortable and was just really looking forward to seeing if I was dilated at all and talking to her about my blood pressure. All week (with the contractions and high BP on my home monitor) I've just been telling myself that I just need to make it to Thursday. I know it's just one more day but that call this morning just really bummed me out.

@Thscary Lol nah. You can have Fitzy. He was great for the first year for us too....bombed the second. He's a good guy...but no bueno for QB longevity. I'll keep my Bills and Tyrod Taylor!
@frogdog06 Layla is beautiful! Congrats, Mom & Dad!
@unwritteN12 Loving the pic of your Big Kids with baby sister! So precious. Happy to hear everyone is doing well and hope for good news (lots of baby snuggles) with Oliver soon!
@LizC216 Sorry to hear you had a scare yesterday! For your sake, I really hope baby stays active from here on out so you can have some peace of mind!
@Sarafuss Sorry your appointment got rescheduled to tomorrow. Even just a single day can feel like it's dragging for an eternity when you've got a lot on your mind! I hope you can find something today that helps distract you so that time passes quickly!!
Last night, I had a burst of energy so I vacuumed our master bedroom and assembled the PNP that baby will sleep in for his/her first few months. Then, this morning I received an email with the tracking number for my breast pump - looks like it'll be delivered today! Crossing things off the list right and left! It's starting to get real - we're all getting sooooo close!
So I usually tend not to keep up with the randoms thread since it's so long and fast-paced, but work has slowed down and I'm getting all excited reading about all these September babies who couldn't wait!
Congrats to @reesaXden, @UnwritteN12 and @frogdog06 on their beautiful babies! All of you did an amazing job and have the most perfect babies!!
This is TOTALLY random but have any of you seen the story about the mother and son in New Mexico who are "in love"? She's 36, he's 19. The whole story is unreal, incredibly sad, and makes my skin crawl, and I think it's even worse to hear about it while pregnant. One of the worst parts is that she said she would give up her other kids to BE WITH HIM. I can't handle it.
@SLou24 Sooo creeeeepy! I saw the article while scrolling through fb but couldn't make myself click on it. My friend who posted it is a drama llama so I was hoping it wasn't actually real

@UnwritteN12 Love the look on E and R's faces! Hope both babies have very quick NICU stays and so glad to hear no blood sugar problems with either!
