My random. Is anyone else having the daily struggle to put on their undies that I am??? I mean lifting my leg and bending over at the same time should be getting me a gold medal right now with the effort I'm putting in. I never felt so disabled during my last pregnancy.
@VeraMali for me it's shaving my legs. If it's not my hip killing me when I rest my foot on the bathtub ledge, it's my sciatica being a B. I'm at the point where I only do it if I have an appointment, jic.
Love all of you but now just scanning this thread for the names @UnwritteN12 and @frogdog06 best wishes to you both as I expect babies are here and perhaps one on her way!!
@AlwaysAuntNeverMom I have a small stand up shower that I can prop my whole body against the back wall and my leg on the other to get at least below the knee shaved, it's not the most comfortable thing but doable. Bending straight over to put my panties on though? Awful. If it wasn't for this oh so lovely pregnancy discharge I'd have been commando since June.
I would have to lie if I said I am not jealous of the babies on this board. I'll be 37 weeks Friday and I want this baby to keep cooking BUT work is SOOOOOOO stressful right now and I just want it to end.

Guysssss @UnwritteN12 probably has 2 more babies by now!! YAY!!!!
@kosmo86 I LOL'd so hard the cat gave me a death glare for waking him up. Worth it.
@frogdog06 Exciting!!! I hope all goes well at L&D, we're all thinking of you!
My random: Our power went out last night at like 12 30 as I was lying in bed watching Master of None and DH was watching weird anime. So he came to bed, but did not go around and turn off the light switches that were on. I actually ended up falling asleep rather quickly, which is rare these days, only to be woken up by what seemed like every friggin light in the house turning on. And then DH rolled over and woke up and screamed, "AHHH MY RETINA'S, SEARED LIKE TUNA!!!!" and stumbled around the house turning them all off. I laughed. Revenge is sweet.
Good luck @frogdog06! I agree with what others have said...sounds like your water broke. That's how mine started. It didn't pick up until I was at the doctor's office for my appt. I had zero contractions. In fact, they didn't start until they gave me pitocin.
As ready as I am to get this baby out, I am also thinking about the fact that I only have 22 more days of feeling baby kicks ever. Ugh pregnancy hormones.
Haha yes @VeraMali! The underwear struggle is real! I'm living vicariously through all of you early monthers. I'm just finally 33 weeks tomorrow. That seems like such a huge difference from 36 weeks. Sigh. Want... The .. Snuggles! And oddly miss breast feeding.

Finley's umbillical cord fell off!! Still getting photo light therapy for jaundice. If his levels looks okay later today we get to take him home!!! Of course there is a chance he will have to come back for more photo therapy (24 hour treatments) once discharged but I'm feeling optimistic.
Thank you for all the well wishes!! Yes, water broke!! And yes, contractions every two minutes but not really dilated yet (will get Pitocin in next hour or so). They gave me the biggest room here (yay) and I'm now gnoshing on breakfast between contractions (which are uber uncomfortable but not painful--more like feeling like I have to poop and it won't come out). DH left to take our puppy to the sitter...
Omg this is almost too much!! 3 babies in one day!!!!!! AND our Fin is coming home soon!!!!!
I have found myself a couple of times thinking of a story about all of you guys that relates to something someone else is talking about, at work, or my parents or husband, and I find myself saying, "yeah, my friend is having twins today!" Or, "my friend's daughter said the funniest thing the other day" but I also hope they don't ask who it was because it might be weird if I said, "oh, it was unwritten12. Bahahahahahaaa all that to say, I'm glad we are all going through this together
It was really sweet today, my dad came with me to my last growth scan. He was helping out with DS and they both came in the room. He was loving seeing his granddaughter on the big screen and DS kept shouting "baby sisser".
Although I might add it was a little awkward bc I think people thought that I was "with" my dad
@mom2adoodle So excited for Fin's discharge!! Fingers crossed for you!
@frogdog06 That's what contractions felt like for my first and I had back labor, so you might be in the same boat? According to my doctor I was likely having contractions on Monday and I just stared blankly at her and had to ask what they're supposed to feel like because I never had "normal" contractions. So, FTM, don't worry, even those of us who have BTDT are still clueless

I've felt the same way a lot of times!! Most of the time I just shut up and keep it in so they don't think I'm weird. I have told a couple of people that I'm part of a mom forum though. Also, and this will sound mushy (highly unlike me), I consider a lot of you guys my friends after 7+ months of talking almost every day, supporting each other, and having shared many TMI happenings. Y'all are good people!

Having hung out this weekend with two members of my April 13 BMB, it's not weird to me
We've had an absurd past few months. Moved into a new house in March - so excited. The house itself is only 10 years old and was in great shape (we thought).
We move in - cue the shit storm. Lots of fixes, lots of unexpected expenses over stupid stuff that the previous owners should have fixed or at least warned us about but never did. We did hire an inspector and he'd told us everything was in ship shape except for a few roof issues, which the previous owners did fix. Not so.
We finally, finally finally get caught up on everything and we're taking a rest from all of the stress. Everything seems to be fine and there's nothing else on the brink of breaking or causing trouble. Huzzah! Then today... I get a call from DH and he sounds angry and also really embarrassed. I can tell he's very very worried that I'm going to be super mad at him.
DH had walked out into the garage to throw something in our big garbage can during his lunch break and when he turned back around to go inside, the door wouldn't open. The door was not locked. The handle was turning, but the door wasn't opening. It just suddenly, and with no warning, decided it didn't want to work anymore. The latch separated from the knob somehow. SPLENDID!
DH's keys, phone, and work computer are all inside. He can't call me or his office, and he can't get into his car. He's running late now and he has a meeting. It's hot and he's panicking and the handy-dandy credit card trick won't work to jiggle the latch open. So... in this time of crisis, he does the only thing he can think of and he BREAKS THE DOOR DOWN.
When I asked him how much damage was done he said "I think it's bad, the wood around the latch is splintered". Well, I thought to myself, that doesn't sound TOO bad. He says he'll send me pictures.
For your viewing pleasure:
Splintered around the latch?! Oh, you mean it's busted practically in half from top to bottom?! LOVELY! And also - he didn't tell me that the whole doorknob had broken and then fallen off!
When he sent me the pictures I couldn't help it, I started laughing.
So..it looks like Fin gets to come home today!! 11 days in the NICU but healthy and strong. If jaundice is the only thing I need to worry about as of now I'll happily take it. Thanks for all the support ladies You guys rock.
Here is a picture of him getting his light therapy. It's like a tanning booth! Aren't the sunglasses so cute? Too bad he hated them.
@mom2adoodle AHHH! I love it! Just catching some rays...Max hated his glasses, too. He always pulled them off. They were much smaller though and easier for him to get off. Those look pretty heavy duty!
As ready as I am to get this baby out, I am also thinking about the fact that I only have 22 more days of feeling baby kicks ever. Ugh pregnancy hormones.
This exactly. I don't know for sure if I'm done, but there's a good chance this is it and I keep getting all emotional about the fact that I may never get to experience this again. I can only imagine my emotions once the baby is actually here and growing before my eyes, and I'm thinking about never getting that time back again.
Re: August Randoms!!!
Sounds like your water broke @frogdog06, good luck and keep us posted!
Can't wait to see our new S16 twins! I hope all is going well @unwritten12!

@mom2adoodle That is amazing! I really hope you get to bring him home!
Also, I have a really strong desire to write your name as mom2aFin now.

Sending happy labor vibes your way @frogdog06!
So many happy things happening today, I'm on excitement overload!
@mom2adoodle wow I can't believe it's been 11 days, but probably feels longer to you. Can't wait for you guys to be home and put this behind you!
