@UnwritteN12 good luck!!! Can't wait to see the twins!
I'm finally home now until the baby is born. I have no other busy weekends other then the odd local wedding to go to. i feel like I can maybe now keep up with you ladies! I only get to read about 1/4 of theses random posts!
Doctors appointment yesterday and he basically said baby could come anytime now. I'm currently 34w 5d. My DD was born at 35w 4d after my water broke. I have a divided uterus so DD ran out of room in there. This little lady is on the other side of the divide so we don't really now if there is more room on that side or not but she's feeling pretty squished in there as of now. Hopefully we make it a couple more weeks!!
@RG1 I meant to say that the way you told your story was hilarious -- but also that I also so feel bad that you have that much pain with intercourse and everything!! That sounds so tough....glad this lady can help you some!
@LakeR2014 Charlie horses in the middle of the night are AWFUL!! I've woken up screaming twice with them this pregnancy....lets hope contractions aren't as bad
As I'm walking up the short stairway into work, I feel liquid come out. Thankfully I wear a pantiliner. It stops; I call L&D and they say to gauge it for the next hour. After I hang up and walk back down the hall, more liquid comes out and now there's some red. Anyhow, I'm now sitting in our bathroom lounge waiting for DH to come (with hospital bags etc) so I can get checked out at L&D. I don't think I'm having contractions?? Who knows. Ahh, was so not ready for this (yet) and umm, feeling a bit of anxiety. Also, totally random fact, I drank red raspberry leaf tea for the first time last night. Just a coinkydink I'm sure..
@LakeR2014 That's funny you mentioned that because I was at prenatal yoga last night and my instructor was talking about how horrible her charlie horses were when she was pregnant. She had 2 med-free births and she said the charlie horses were more painful.
She reminded us of the importance of eating bananas. I typically eat a banana everyday. The only time I've had a charlie horse during pregnancy was when I went about a week without one!
Not really other signs?! But liquid sporadically keeps coming out and then I run to the toilet and some of it is clear and then I end up peeking a little. But yeah, soaked. Wtf..............ahhhhhh.
@frogdog06 - thinking of you! Keep us updated and best of luck!
@Sbrown721 Ironically...yesterday was the first time I ate a banana in a while. I've had a lot of Charlie horses this pregnancy, probably close to 20 at this point, but last nights took the cake. Already have my banana and water in eyesight to ensure I drink all the fluids and enjoy the banana goodness.
@laker2014 in my opinion, leg cramps are worse than actual contractions because you never know how long they're going to last. At least contractions have a peak and an end.
@frogdog06 Keep us updated! It feels like these September babies are coming whether we're ready or not
I'm pretty sleep deprived so I won't comment on all the things I really want to. But just wanted to send another congrats out to @reesaXden. She is beautiful, and now I'm regretting not picking H's name choice of Evan
i am also thinking about you @Unwritten524. Hope this morning went smooth and can't wait to welcome two new squishies into our group.
@frogdog06 certainly sounds like your water broke! It's normal not to have contractions right away after. Good luck, thinking of you too!
We're driving through regular streets instead of the highway given morning traffic (lol) and I keep hoping baby girl will be okay. I'm actually 37 weeks today! Due date was supposed to be 8.31.16
@frogdog06 is she moving okay? Don't stress too much about it, although a possible birth is kind of nerve racking! Everything will be fine 37 weeks is pretty great.
It's so weird (and cool!) to me that I've now transitioned to eagerly refreshing S16's webpage to see birth announcements instead of repeatedly creeping on july 16 and august 16s announcements! We have babies coming!!!!
@frogdog06 good luck!!! I hope you didn't/ don't get stuck in crap traffic.
@UnwritteN12 thinking of you all morning! I hope you are recovering peacefully with your babies by now.
Actually laughing actually out loud @ "thunder farts" and "speed waddle" @kosmo86@SLou24
My random is more information on my special snowflake feelings. I feel like utter garbage, and my blood pressure and pulse rate are all over the place. Now I'm back to thinking maybe I will take those stupid pills the cardiologist wants me to take. I am trying to slog through work but it's impossible. I am still pregnant and already ready to adopt our next child. Bleh.
First dentist appointment went well. DS1 was quite the charmer while waiting to go back. He was only upset when they were actually in his mouth which lasted all of 2 minutes, if that. Teeth look great. When we were leaving I said "say bye bye honey!" So he turns to the receptionist and says "bye bye honey!"
I'm being a whiney complainer today. I was contracting (irregularly but somewhat painful) all day yesterday with tons of pelvic pressure from baby being so low. I almost went to L&D since my BP is consistently in the 150's/90's-100's but I've been twice now for my BP and my labs have been within normal range. It's such a pain in the ass to have someone get my kids so I can sit in L&D for a few hours just be sent home! I also didn't want to miss DS's meeting with his kindergarten teacher today. The contractions stopped but I am so sore and uncomfortable today. I'm just trying to make it to my appt tomorrow to see if I'm dilated at all and to see what my MFM has to say about my BP. I've never been in this much discomfort during pregnancy. 4th pregnancy is no joke!

My random today is that I'm having an off day. I'm tired (nothing new there) after falling asleep at around 3a, had uncomfortable contractions on and off last night that got a bit painful and made my belly all sore, and now I'm just really nauseous, my head hurts, and I don't want to get out of bed. I think I'm going to let myself have a day and just sleep as much as I can.
My poor daughter woke up throwing up last night at 2 am....it was a rough night for everyone...she's just now trying some food so fingers crossed she keeps it down and this bug passes quickly...and hopefully I don't catch it...what's crazy is I was supposed to start moving into my classroom today but construction pushed it back a day so I am able to be home with her thank God...anyways pray for my girl for me if you can spare one!
@frogdog06 Sounds like your water broke to me! With my first, my contractions didn't start for 1-2 hours after my water broke. It's totally normal, though not as common as contractions starting first. Good luck! Can't wait to hear how it's going!
@UnwritteN12 Been thinking of you all morning. Hope you're getting some quality time with those two babies!
@KimmySchmidt My LO is a stinker like that too! This whole pregnancy I've been trying to get a quick video of movement for my far-away family, but each time baby stops when the camera is on and starts when I give up. DH had had better luck, but only because bedtime is an active time for LO.
@KimmySchmidt yup. My belly looks like a scene from the Frighteners (or any other horror movie with a face coming out of the wall) more or less at all times when it is only observed by me. My husband looks over, and a little nub of butt or foot is sort of sticking out in a stationary position. He probably thinks I am hallucinating.
@kimmyschmidt@jabreen My LO used to do that too early on and H would get so discouraged because he could never feel him move. Lately it's the opposite. We'll be watching tv and baby won't be moving and as soon as H lays on my tummy, the baby goes nuts. I wonder if I'm releasing oxytocin or something cause of my love for H haha
