Thank you @AliciaGoose and @rainbowturtles. I'm so shocked that I even got CHs this month, it's the first time I've had confirmed O unmedicated since February 2015.

I'm so so happy @rainbowturtles. Of course that happiness may be squashed in a few days with a BFN but right now im just gonna enjoy it!
@chloe97 that's what I talked to DH about this afternoon. Do we pay the money for a progesterone draw and hopefully get the confirmation that way? Or do I live in this bliss and not risk getting potentially bad news that will send me into an emotional downward spiral? I've been so emotional over feeling betrayed my body the past year - anxiety, guilt, frustration, etc. and part of me just wants to be naive and not get the draw. Of course DH is more rational and said I should go do it so we'll see.

@SoonToBeMommaHowe yay for O and getting your crosshairs. The little victories are awesome
AF came and CD 1 is here- boo. Today has been tough. I was feeling a bit better yesterday after my negative beta on Friday but AF showing up today kind of brought everything back. DH was just held me while I cried and assured me all would be ok and that we would figure everything out. It's hard because I know he's hurting too and we are both feeling defeated. It feels strange taking a break from medicated cycles. I'm so programmed to call my RE office to get a cycle started. In my heart of hearts I know a break is exactly what we need but it still feels strange. We'll try on our own this cycle so I'm interested to see what my body does and when O will come.

Still ~5 days out from O and I just reached a whole new level of crazy. Comparing my pre-O temps to other charts and thinking to myself "ah crap, my chart looks the same as those who didn't get pregnant" lol! Wtf, I haven't even ovulated yet!
@roper2617 Same here. I am probably 14 days out from O (I'm a later O-er), and I am doing the exact same thing. Wondering if it matters my temp is .1 to .2 degrees higher on average. Ooooor, it might just be summer and everything is just a little warmer.
I'm laptop-Bumping for once (I tend to use the laptop only on Monday to catch up on the check-ins ) so I can finally see everyone's siggy's and @crazypt2285 I love the pug gif! (I have a black pug )
CD20 and still unsure but my temp is slowly creeping up. Not feeling as freaked out about it right now, and honestly think AF will be here in 7-12 days (not super hopeful for our first cycle off the bench), but will keep HIO every other day if possible...because, why not? DH was supposed to be out of town again this week and he is not, so I might as well take advantage because his next trip might be a 10 day-er! (also funny because he always seems to be out of town during AF which is kind of awesome and hilarious but also means he might be out of town for possible future BFP, like he was last time, which was NOT so awesome!)
I finally got a positive-ish (much darker line than previously seen) yesterday on cd 31, which kind of had me confused, but we did get a chance to hop in the sack before leaving for a long road trip with friends. Now I tested again today and it's much lighter so I'm guessing that's it. Going to move on over to the tww. I know it's not a totally confirmed o cause I'm not temping, but it's all I got.

Well, now I'm just annoyed. Wth?! We did have the fan facing this way last night but I didn't feel cold when I temped. I was hoping to avoid vag temping lol Wondering if it's a med I started taking (but planned to stop taking next month anyways). It's nothing crazy but it's a newer med so could it possibly make me not ovulate? Or is it the thermometer? So frustrated.
@rainbowturtles I'm sorry- that's so frustrating. I remember when I was temping sometimes I would get a bit of a dip before my O and then a rise pattern would begin. Are you feeling any other symptoms?

@rainbowturtles I'm sorry! That is a confusing chart. I agree with @roxgibbons though that I typically get a dip before O. So maybe this is it? Though that precious temp rise also looked good and today could be a fluke. Do you have any other O signs now?
Well that's the other confusing part...my boobs have been sore for EIGHT DAYS now That "usually" only happens after O, I thought (which made it confusing to begin with because of no temp shift). I really don't know what to think I don't get a lot of O signs that I recognize, yet, since it's only my 3rd cycle temping... Just keep waiting and see, I guess ? And try to get DH to HIO tonight, just in case lol Thanks for looking at my chart, ladies
I do have a few opks left (I only bought around 7 from the dollar store this month but didn't want to use them all because I was confused by the sore boobs and didn't want to waste them) so maybe I'll take one this afternoon? Or when I get home? I read to take them in the afternoon but I've been up since 6am so I don't know.
I seem to be responding well to the Clomid and thus far haven't had the side effect of the not so great quality CM, which is a huge plus. It's actually looking like my CM quality has improved. First day of EWCM today and it's looking so beautifully fertile (ha! Never thought I'd be so proud of my own bodily functions). DH is at work right now though which is a bummer. I'll be road tripping to see him this weekend because that's when I should O and I dont want to completely miss our opportunity. It's a 6hr drive...oh the things we do when TTC.
@roper2617 What stress not knowing when you will O especially with going through this business of taking clomid to begin with. Is your OB open to doing a trigger shot after checking out your follicles so you have a little more control and you and DH can have better timing? Glad that the clomid hasn't messed with your body too much! And lol on being proud of your bodily functions, I love it.
@roper2617 I'm glad to hear you are not having any negative side effects from the clomid! That's a crazy drive to make but you're right, it's worth it for the sake of TTC. Plus sometimes BDing is much more fun in a hotel!
In terms of WTO, god is it boring. And stressful. I'm still at least two days away from even -5 timing. I'm looking forward to FW happening so I can actually get this party started with something other than drinking RRL Tea and taking my PNV. I also hate the not knowing if I will ovulate on time thing. My BFP cycle was a day 27 O (9 days later than normal). And then of course the late O in my post MC cycle (which doesn't really count because that's expected to be longer). So now I'm just sitting here crossing my fingers for my first normal cycle in 4 months.
@AliciaGoose I feel you. It's been since March when we were actively TTC last, and I forgot how much this sucks. I typically O later, like CD25, and it feels so.far.away. But I'm going to acupuncture, and she's trying to regulate my cycles a little, so now I am irrationally paranoid I'll miss O (read: peeing on ALL the sticks since CD 10).
@Amdogger82 I've heard great things from people about acupuncture both extending the luteal phase and shortening the follicular phase! FX you find success with it. I am peeing on all the things now (on CD 10 as well!) because even though I know my normal O is a bit later part of me is hoping my cycle decides to change and give me an earlier O! I would love to O on CD14!
@AliciaGoose I hear you on a normal cycle! My RE and nutritionist both asked if my cycle was regular- I was spot on 33 days cycles the 6 months between going off BCP and my first BFP. Since my 1st MC everything has been out of whack! I'm hoping if I wait a couple months, I will actually get a normal cycle, good egg and a BFP. Can I ask what is RPL tea?
@chloe97 I used to be spot on 30-32 day cycles! I would have maybe 1 irregular cycle a year. But now between my BFP cycle and my post MC cycle I have no idea what my body is doing! I have my fingers crossed for you to get back to a normal cycle that produces good eggs and a BFP to follow
The tea is Red Raspberry Leaf. It's supposed to support the reproductive system by toning your uterus. It's probably one of those things that doesn't really help but can't hurt. I just started drinking it this cycle because I decided I wanted to feel more in control during WTO. I got the yogi brand off of amazon and it's actually really delicious. I'm only drinking it during WTO because some research says it can cause slight uterine contractions so it's not good for the TWW or first trimester.
@BornReady No trigger shot just yet. He wants me to go 6 cycles just Clomid, but I actually don't want that. I'm giving it 3 and then asking for either a trigger shot or a reevaluation of our plan. I'm afraid of doing the full 6 months on Clomid with no success because that seems like a lot of unnecessary risk.
@AliciaGoose If this cycle wasn't medicated I would likely not bother with the drive but I don't want to take Clomid and the risks associated for nothing. I've also not seen the town/place where DH is working so it'll be nice to have a visual when he tells me about places. Plus also the hotel BDing lol
oh hey ladies, here i am CD 1. I'm actually feeling very calm and at peace. I've been feeling so sick this week with horrible headaches and a cold and those nagging ovary/tube pains so i totally psyched myself into thinking something was very wrong. I'm happy to put last cycle behind me and move on to the next. and it's friday, that always helps.

CD9 here and I have been bad with temping so if it keeps up I am not sure I will be able to pinpoint O! Forgot my thermometer before bed so Saturday morning I had to walk to the bathroom first, so an extremely high temp that probably isn't accurate. I skipped yesterday due to sheer forgetfulness and then took my temp today and it was an all time low, but I did have the AC on me all night thanks to the sunburn I got yesterday. I am just not really feeling it this cycle. This should be my fertile week with O somewhere towards the end/weekend and I am not in the mood for BD at all. Think I am just in a slump. Also if I do O on time I will be like 6dpo at my friends wedding in Florida and honestly with how anxious I am about going in the first place I don't think I want to be in the TWW then.

@lilylover27 do what is right for you. I can understand not wanting to be in the TWW when you go the FL.
I am on cd17 and still waiting for O (ETA: i usually o around CD 25). I had two days of higher temps thanks to beer and poor sleep but it's back down this morning. However, yesterday my acupuncturist was convinced I had o'ed and my cycle was normalizing thanks to acupuncture (naturally), and said it hard to get pregnant when you o late. I was like, well I got pregnant before when i o'ed ob cd 25. And she said, yeah but look what happened. Really?? I left just feeling really irritated with her and I'm thinking of not going back. I started seeing her the week before my BFP, so I've been seeing her since March. Since I got KU essentially before I really started going, I'm thinking it might not be necessary. And it's pretty expensive.
I'd be interested in hearing anyone else's thought on acupuncture and/or o'ing later and egg quality! Sorry for the long rant.
@Amdogger82 Wow!! I would be so upset. That is highly unprofessional. And just insensitive. I'm sorry that happened. I've never had acupuncture so I can't speak to that end in terms of how helpful it is, etc.
I also am concerned about late ovulation and egg quality so that comment would have really stressed me out. I used to O around CD 18 but my last two cycles were CD 27 (which was my BFP) and CD 30 (first cycle post miscarriage). I'm on CD 15 now and have no signs of ovulation. I know plenty of women who have had late O (even one into the 40s) and gotten pregnant, so I don't think that's really a thing. Sorry you had do deal with that!
Ugh, @Amdogger82, how rude and unprofessional of her! I also dont have experience with acupuncture but am a late ovulater (cd 33 this cycle) so you are definitely not alone. And my doctor didn't seem concerned with the late ovulation, more with my luteal phase length. I'm going to a new OB next Tuesday if she has anything insightful to say I'll let you know.

@Amdogger82 I don't even know what to say to that.... that was very insensitive and definitely unprofessional. I am not aware that late O impacts conception or retention of pregnancy, rather it's the luteal phase that is so important (as others have said). WT actual F?
I started acupuncture last year, still had another loss but have continued to go. I do go less frequently now because it is expensive and I am not sure that it has had a significant impact as it relates to my TTC/RPL issues. I do enjoy it for the relaxation though - and I like my practitioner. He and his wife had twins through IVF, so we talk a lot about where I am mentally and emotionally when I see him.

@Amdogger82 When betas weren't doubling, but my baby had a heartbeat, I asked my Dr about O-ing late and egg quality because the cycle I got pregnant I O-d 7 days later than usual. Long story short she said if they knew that O-ing late caused bad eggs they would encourage women to not TTC that cycle if their O was late.
In the book Making Babies, which is a very good book on getting pregnant jointly authored by an RE and a Chinese medicine Doctor, the RE casually mentions that ovulating late is not a good thing. I've tried really hard to find the research to back up this statement and every single journal article that talks about "overripe eggs" is from the 1960s to the 1980s.
The conclusion that I came to is that ovulating late in general doesnt necessarily mean bad eggs, it's ovulating late for your normal cycle that could mean a bad egg, and this isn't all the time. In my case, my baby had Triploidy which is when the egg doesn't properly split. After I got diagnosed, I read that ovulating later than usual is a risk factor for the abnormality. But it does not mean that ovulating later than usual will always cause the abnormality. Does that make sense?
Anyway, I agree that your acupuncturist was very insensitive, but she probably is trying to get you to ovulate on Cd 14 because that is ideal in Chinese Medicine. I do know people whose cycles were not regulated and went from O-ing anywhere from CD 17-27 to CD 14 by using acupuncture.
And I just want to add that I went to a fertility acupuncturist between my 1st and 2nd MC and I'm a bit bitter because I probably spent close to $1500 on acupuncture just to have another MC. I wasn't going to go back but I've read it's very good for thickening uterine lining and my lining is VERY thin right now. I found a community acupuncture place that charges $30 a session so I'm going to try it out.
Thank you, ladies. I can't tell you how helpful it is to hear your thoughts and experiences!
I've always really liked my practitioner, but this week just really put me off. I don't want to be fickle, I just really resent when I feel like someone is trying to scare me into a service I am paying for. Looking back when I told her I was KU she said it was really important for me to come every week in the first tri, and while I didn't think acupuncture can stop miscarriage, I think she gave me the impression it would help avoid it, and being a FTM I wanted to do everything in my power to make it work. Now I feel a little manipulated, which probably is really unfair to my acupuncturist because I know she's probably just doing and saying what she thinks is right and has my best interest in mind. I think TTCAL has made me hypersensitive, and let's be honest a little crazy depending on the day, so maybe I just need a break.
@fivetimesnoluck I usually find it pretty relaxing and helpful for stress even if it isn't helpful for ttc, so that's kind of how I have justified it...Its like yoga without the work. Maybe I need to just start going to yoga!
@chloe97 She is trying to get me to O on CD 14, which I'd be totally cool with. Thank you for your comments about o-ing late --that's reassuring. I think I will check out Making Babies! I see value in both eastern and western approaches. I hope that it will help your lining!
So I just need to vent on here, officially freaking out. Heard on the news that Florida might have their first locally acquired case of Zika, and of course I am going there next weekend for a wedding! As if I wasn't already stressed enough!

Edit: I forgot to write half my post

I'm CD27 and had spotting this morning so I'm sure AF will be here either tomorrow or the next day so just thought I'd start up over here!
