I have a super fun new pre-ovulatory symptom: extremely sore breasts! So they hurt before ovulation, during and then most of the TWW! Anyway, poas today; time for OPKs because they're burning a proverbial hole in my linen closet.

@reneeannemm I developed the breast tenderness before O symptom this current cycle as well! Unless I never noticed it before, but I mean that doesn't sound likely considering we all pay super crazy attention to the things out bodies do when TTC. It's not as intense as my pre AF breast tenderness, but it was noticible.

@AliciaGoose It's sooo weird! Happened last cycle, too. Not into it.

I'm team peeing on all the OPKs currently as well. Hopefully I O at a reasonable time this month. If I have to test until CD18 I may get a little stabby.

Haha. Always good to have a cycle buddy  I am CD 10 right now so hopefully mine will be in the next few days.

I'm CD10 and depending on when I O, might actually be in the realm of possibilities (ie. NTNP) this month but trying not to get my hopes up.

I'm on CD 14 here negative opk this morning. I usually I O between CD 16 - 18 though. I'm using the first response opk which says it detects LH surge 24 - 36 hours before so I guess shouldn't be suprised. I feel I might have anovulatory cycles and I'm afraid this might be one. Completely self diagnosing but I was wondering if that could be why it took me so long to get KU. The thought of being delayed another month just sucks.

I FINALLY FREAKING GOT A STATIC SMILEY on the clear blue advanced digital ovulation test this morning!!!!!!! CD17. After 9 days of flashing smileys it finally reared its adorable non flashing face! This weekend is alllllllll baby dancing hoping July is our month!

EWCM today! So if I O soon there's still a slight possibility plus fingers crossed we can BD when we get home from this weekend at DH's parents tomorrow. We're not even allowed to sleep in the same room here lol And since we're not in full TTC mode yet DH thought it would be "more special" to wait than to try to fool around in his jeep on our trip to town

CD7. Question: am I the only fool who doesn't temp on this board? I know I probably should, but I get a lot of O symptoms. We also haven't put in 100% effort into TTGP, so when we do, and things still aren't happening, I will consider temping. 

We we have a lot of pre-visiting family BDing to do in this coming week. Not the best timing, but I think it'll still work out.

I also am nosy and want to know why you can't share a room, @rainbowturtles?

also ETA I want to send you hugs as I just read your post in the Friday check in. I hope you're able to get some BD in and relax a bit when you get home. I always get super stressed when visiting family, and I can imagine how hard it would be to be around pregnant women

@silentP - i don't temp either but I think I might start next cycle. I rely completely on these stupid opks which drive me crazy.

I bought the Wondfo kind and I cannot get any to turn a true positive. It's definitely possible it's just me messing it up, but it was annoying!

The story is DH's very Christian family lol He left the church long ago but we are of course respectful of "their house, their rules". However, it was so stinking hot in the upstairs room I was in that I could barely sleep and needed a cold cloth for my pug so apparently DH said we might stay in a tent next time and his folks surprisingly seemed fine with that lol

ETA it's not like we would have BD'd with his parents downstairs but I certainly missed my cuddles especially since DH works out of town so much lately and is off again on Tuesday for four days

I know right @reneeannemm ??!! That's why I was surprised they seemed okay with it! Like it's somehow better if it's not "under their roof"?? So bizarre to me lol

ETA: it's hilarious that they want a grandchild from us but apparently sex is bad lol

@silentP exactly! When DH told them about our miscarriage they asked if we would have gotten married. So I know they'd rather us be married first but that's not as important to us as it is to them and they do want us to have kids so they're probably a bit conflicted.

My parents are strict about that too so DH and I were never allowed to sleep in the same room until we were married. A tent would have been a no go as well however. Hah.

DHs parents started letting us stay in the same room (prior to being married) when they realized that was the only way DH was going to agree to stay there anymore. 

Also we have no problem HIO while we're there if the urge hits us. The beds a bit squeaky but the floor works just fine

DH is much too shy for anything like that! I'm a wild child who has tamed their ways since marriage. It's all private now. Except - well ya know sordid details of my cervical fluid and relations schedule on here.

DH and I lived with his parents for a few months at one point. Hello car rides! And also thank goodness we were just sleeping on a mattress and box frame directly on the floor. Minimal creaking.

I'm CD 8 and with my 50 pack of wondfos I'm prepared! Im hoping I'll O this month since I've heard you normally don't O until your 3rd cycle after a d&c so I want to do everything to make this our month! We're also at DH's parents house for the weekend but thankfully the guest room is on the other side of the house and they want grandkids so I hope they know what's up!  
The only bad news is I have no idea of when I normally O, so hopefully the OPKs will work for me and I O before we leave to chaperone a youth trip where there will not be any BD. GL to you all!

@carterh33 Best of luck with your OPK's! Do you temp at all to confirm O? I know many of us have O'd directly following D&C, so I haven't heard the three month thing before. Anyhow, temping is helpful to do as well because you can get a positive OPK and still not O. Temping will basically confirm or deny what the OPK says. (Sorry for the unsolicited advice, just trying to be helpful!)

@carterh33 I second @Wishilivedinflorida. I love OPKs because they give me a heads up. But there's nothing better than temping and being able to confirm that I O'd and knowing when I should expect (or hopefully not expect) AF. Good luck!!

@AliciaGoose and @Wishilivedinflorida I don't temp now, but maybe it's something I should try! I guess I'm just afraid I would mess it up since I tend to wake up a lot at night and such. One of my doctors mentioned maybe I didn't O in previous cycles right after the d&c because my cycles were off. It would be nice to have the confidence that I did O though! I appreciate any advice in regards to TTCAL! Thank you both!

@Wishilivedinflorida @carterh33 Case and point right here with the OPKs! Ive temped and it didn't confirm O despite +OPK, but I chalked it up to basically anything, because, denial? Also @carterh33 FX you O before the chaperoning of the youth trip! 

On another note. I just bought a new bbt thermometer and I'm so excited to get back into temping!

@carterh33 I'm a restless sleeper and almost every night fall asleep on my couch and then wake up to go to bed in the middle of the night. I usually take my temp when I wake up for good, but the times vary based on my work schedule.  Despite all of this, I still see a clear shift in temps every cycle. A good BBT runs about 7 bucks, so it's not a huge investment if it doesn't work for you.
