I have been around on the bump since July 2013, but this is my first time on TTC. I have a son who is 2 (3/11/14) and a daughter who turns 1 this weekend (7/2/15). DH and I have been married 3 years, and we just decided to start trying for baby #3. Happy to be here, but hopefully not for long!
Baby #1: Nixson Thomas - Born 3/11/14 @ 4:32pm, 7lbs 10oz, 21.5"
Baby #2: Emma Haley - Born 7/2/15 @ 7:09am, 7lbs 9 oz, 21"
Baby #3: TTC (hoping for a due date of spring / summer 2017)
Hi! I've been lurking for a week or two as DH and I are about to start TTC. I'm 27 and DH is 27, too. Married in May 2011, moved to Colorado right after but are now in Michigan where his family lives (mine is in PA). We have one fur baby, a husky named Micah. She's a rescue pup, so we don't know why she has a boy's name, but it doesn't matter; she's awesome
I'm nervous and excited as I go off BCP early next week. I'm deciding if I want to just go for IT or if I want to do all the charting and such right away. That's where I am. Nice to meet you all!
*TW Loss Mentioned* Hi there! I jumped on the tww threads last month after an oopsie... got a BFN, and was then prepared to wait till November to really start TTC, due to job reasons. A little backstory- I got a new job about 9-10 months ago, at the same time my husband got seriously hurt at work.
Fast forward to yesterday, he comes home with a different prescription after meeting with a new doctor because we just moved, and I just had to Google its effects on fertility, because, that's just who I am and I wanted to know if we would still be in the clear to start to ttc in November. Turns out this medication is horrible for sperm, fertility, and was correlated with miscarriage and low birth rate in embryos, and it took 3-4 months of not being on this medication for the fertility effects to wear off (in mice). I presented this information to DH and he said "Well, I can't wait another year to TTC, I'm ready if you are" (We're really not sure when he'll be off this med., and he's a bit older- so we're feeling his biological clock tick more than mine... I'm "late" 20s)
So, we DTD in hopes that I am in my fertile window (no, I wasn't temping), and that we can be lucky enough to get a BFP the first time... otherwise we'll probably be waiting till 3-4 months after his medication. **TW** We had a miscarriage about 1.5 years ago- we were lucky then and it took 1 month of TTC. Hoping it's the same this time around. I didn't really have a crazy desire to start TTC right after our loss- I think the thought of it made me a bit depressed- about 6 months ago though, it came back strong, and ever since then I have been somewhat obsessive. We were holding off because of my job situation- and I am really nervous if I have to break the news to them that I am pregnant, but, life happens, right? Good luck to everyone and I am excited to get to know all of you!
Hi Ladies!! I'm 33, Hubs is 30. We have been married since April 2014, but together since May 2005. I'm definitely not a planner or someone who needs control. But after going off the pill in the middle of April, I started temping in May just to get an idea of what is going on with this body of mine. I just completed my first full cycle of temping and I have to say I truly enjoy the puzzle aspect of it. The anticipation of what's to come is exciting. So here's to seeing what happens! Hope everyone's time on here is short but sweet!
Hello! Just about to finish my first month of TTC. In a few days (hopefully) Ill get that BFP or BFN. I am 31, DH is 33 and we have been married for about a year and a half. I just used OPK for this month, and for every negative cycle- plan on adding more stuff (temp tracking, preseed, digital ovulation kit, fertility tea/herbals, etc). This board has been very helpful- really informative and supporting. I have been super crazy during my TWW (testing way too early, way too often), so its nice to see that there are other crazies out there
I am 28 and my DH is 28. Together we have a 3yo DD. We are ready for #2! Our DD was a surprise so TTC is a whole new experience for me. This is our first month of actively TTC. Have been using OPK since last month and want to start temping. I have been using FF for the past few months as well. Excited and trying to soak in and enjoy this experience as it will most likely be my first and last TTC journey.
I am a Dental Assistant who works long days so I am on 3 and off 4 every week. DH works in the automotive industry.
I was on TB 5 years ago when I was pregnant with my DD and mostly followed the March 2012 board. She's 4 and the love of my life. My husband and I just started TTC for our second last month in June. I'm 27 and DH is 28.
I'm so excited to be a part of a fun, wise and snarky group of ladies again. Oh how I missed this place!
Interests include hiking, yoga, painting, nerding out on music and movies, travel and books... Lots and lots of books.

I'm B, my SO is A, we're trying to conceive our first together, but its his 4 th. His are all older (like high school/college older) so he's starting over again. This is our first month trying, I'm not temping and we're long distance, so I'm not expecting much right now, but I hope to get to know you all!!!!
Hi there! My name is Erika and my husband and I have an almost 2 yr old daughter and have just started trying for a second. I'm a bit nervous about this as I am scheduled to start nursing school next year at the end of August so we only have a small window of time to try, and if successful I will be attending nursing school with a 4/5 month old. My husband is dedicated to making nursing school my priority and taking on all the extra responsibility around the house, because this just feels like the right time for us. It's nice to meet you all!!
Hey all! ChaCha here, in the ATL metro area - the Mister (39) and I (36) have been TTC for a while, and I just had my first IUI this month. I'm 3DPIUI and, I believe, also 3 DPO. Is it me, or is the 2WW like, a month long?!?!

Hi all, I'm Sarah from Wales (UK). My husband and I just got married on June 11th 2016. We have been together 5 years. He is an I.T engineer working for the NHS and I work as a Project Manager in Construction. We decided to come off contraception prior to the wedding as we really want to try for a baby. My ovulation date was 12th June and DH and I were intimate before, during and after ovulation. I was due to receive my AF on 27th June but it still hasnt arrived. Currently 8 days late. I have take 2 HPT;s and both were BFN. Wondering what is going on with my body. Didnt realise how much I actually wanted to be pregnant until I saw the BFN's.
@Ekzerr Timing is everything! I've been waiting years to have a baby so that I would be done with grad school first. First time momming is hard enough... Or so I've heard. Welcome!

SLFarrell89 I strongly suggest reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility or as it is often referenced here, TCOYF. It's extremely informative of everything a woman's body does throughout her cycle and is a must read for anyone TTC. In short, the reason you may still be getting negative tests is that you actually ovulated later in your cycle than you think, and therefore your period is not actually late. Your cycle length can change at any time and unless you are temping, it's impossible to pinpoint your ovulation date. Most ladies here combine multiple fertility signs such as cervical position, cervical mucus, OPKs, and temping to pinpoint their ovulation each month. If you haven't already, please read the Newbie Guide for additional information. Let me know if you have any questions.
Hi! I'm new, so. . . Intro basics. I'm 31. DH(does this mean husband? I couldn't find this one in the basic terms)/SO is 26. TTC since April 2016. Married in April 2016. Though we didn't really try in May/June for various reasons. Currently in the TWW, AF is due on the 11th. Been kicking around the idea of testing early, but those tests are not growing on trees. I'm a teacher, and he's an animator (draws cartoons, not raises zombies) I'm a sucker for Anita Blake books, so please excuse my humor. We have 1 furry baby, our cat Zoey.
Hello ladies! Finally decided to pop in and introduce myself! I'll be 31 in August and DH is 30. Been married since June 2014 and TTC since August 2015. We've been trying off and on due to various reasons (timing around sister's wedding, being sick, or just over the whole TTC thing). I go back and forth each cycle with temping and hardcore tracking. The more I track, the more disappointed I am when AF arrives. I don't have many close friends that have children, so I haven't talked much about TTC with others. My one TTC friend got pregnant with her 2nd on her 2nd month of trying last month, so I'm definitely looking for others to connect with during this exciting, and ridiculously stressful, sad, trying process.
@each621 Welcome! If it's not too personal, I'd like to hear more about your experience postponing TTC because of your sister's wedding. My SIL is getting married 7/30/17 and has asked me to be a bridesmaid. I told her we were TTC but I'm going back and forth between postponing it during months where if I did conceive I'd be too far along to travel to the wedding or have a baby be too young. I have my IUD removed in a few weeks so FX is happens quickly and it's a non issue but I know that's not likely.

Thank you for all that great advice. I decided to look into the book but I took a HPT this morning and got a BFP. ☺feeling over the moon right now x
Hello Ladies. I have been lurking here for sometime now, learning, and researching. You are all a wealth of knowledge. Thank you. I am 29, DH is 35, we have one DD who just turned 4. We have decided the timing is right for #2. Had my Mirena removed early part of June. Our DD was a wonderful surprise, so I am anxious to see how planning for #2 goes. I am a Cardiac Nurse and my DH is in Educational Technology. I have started tracking in FF, as well as Ovia, I do not temp being my sleep is still sporadic with our DD. I am in the TWW AF is due on the 11th. So excited to continue to learn more about my body, and see where this part of life takes us!
Guess I should post an intro... I'm 32 and DH and I have been married for 4 years, together for 8. We were NTNP for a couple years after we got married, started TTC about two years ago using an app and OPK's. I don't track too carefully because tracking anything (dates, temps, calories, anything) tends to bring out my obsessive side, and then I stress, which does no one any good. It took forever fighting my doctor to get a referral to an RE, and all our testing came back clear, so we started our first round of Clomid this month and go in for the IUI hopefully the end of this week or early next. These boards seem like a good place to come for info and just support, so I'm looking forward to hanging around
Hi all! I am 31, DH is 30, been married for 5 years this Saturday (7/9)! We are about to start our first cycle TTC so I've been (mildly) obsessed with tracking using Ovia and FF (which I prefer so far, much more accurate for me at least). I went off HBC in early April. My Wondfro OPKs/HPTs are coming in today and I'm way too excited about it! I've loved charting so far and learning about my body and how it all works.
DH is in grad school with a projected DONE date of May 2017, after which we are planning to move out-of-state to be closer to friends and family. So I feel a little nuts for TTGP sometimes, but both of us feel more ready than we've ever been and I'm confident it will all work out as it's supposed to. I've already benefited enormously from the information here; looking forward to this journey wherever it takes us!
slavenskiOf course! My sister is getting married this December and I'm the MOH! She knew we were trying to get pregnant when she got engaged and asked me. Luckily, we live in the same town so traveling wouldn't be an issue. We did take off one month of trying because my projected due date would have been like 3 days after her wedding. DH said it would be fine, but I did not like the idea of being that pregnant at her wedding.... or having to miss it entirely!
I'm having the same dilemma again for my next cycle, if there's no BFP this month. I'm MOH in an April wedding for a friend and am debating if we postpone TTC again. I'd really rather not take the break. I know in either case, my sister/friend would be super understanding about it.... I mean, what could they do about it at that point, right? haha
How far do you have to travel for your SIL's wedding? Would it have to be by plane? It would be difficult to do if super pregnant or with a newborn... but maybe it's still doable?
Hey there. I'm a long time lurker and newbie to posting. I was in Jan 17 and then found out early June that I had a blighted ovum. I had a horrible 2 weeks on Cytotec and then finally a D&C. Trying to get familiar with the terminology around here so pardon me if I don't have finesse!
@each621 We'll most likely have to fly from GA to MA. I'm not worried about being pregnant at the wedding per say, just too pregnant to travel. Also, I wouldn't want to go with a newborn younger than 2 months. She is allowing children but I think a newborn is a bit different. We still have a few months until the EDD gets too close to the wedding date so hopefully we'll get a BFP soon FX. That is hard to have so many weddings to take part in. They're special and I'm assuming you're MOH because you're close to them. Also, MOH has more duties than a bridesmaid IMHO. I hope things work out for you but I feel like since you're being MOH for people you're close too, they should understand. I think if you keep your friend in the loop about TTC and if you do get a BFP with an EDD around the wedding, let her know ASAP so she can plan things out.
My name is Erin. I have a 3 year old and we are currently TTC baby # 2. This was our first month actively trying. I have never been on birth control, and with my daughter, we started trying, 9 days after a positive ovulation test, day 25 of my cycle we got a BFP. This time around I am on CD 26, 15 DPO, still BFN but AF still hasn't shown. This is the first month that I have tracked my cycle so I truly have no clue how long my cycles usually are. I am just trying to keep my head up and know that every pregnancy is going to be different.
Hi everyone!! I am so eager to join a forum and get love and support from other women ttc. My name is April. I am 28. I'm a mother to two amazing boys already. Jacoby (6) & Tristan (4). Both of them we're much welcomed "surprise" babies. Now years later, me and my OH are ready to ttc. This will be our first planned pregnancy. So far it's our 2nd cycle, and I'm quickly approaching my O day. Last month was a rough one, as we made the decision to start trying, and I had myself convinced we concieve on the first try. Big disappointment. Long story short (and probably text book) I stressed myself out so much I delayed af by 3 days and tricked my body into thinking I was pregnant. I had every symptom I don't usually had before af and I was a blubbering mess when she came. This month I vowed to not stress as much, take the time to get educated, and most importantly have fun and enjoy the ride. I've done very minimal tracking, but do use ff. Any support and/or tips would be greatly appreciated! ❤
Hi, all! I've been a member of TK/TB since back in 2011, when I was planning my wedding. I was really active on my DD's BMB and was an occasional poster on my DS's. I have a new account now, since I took a break during the great implosion that happened here last year.
DH and I are currently trying for #3. My cycles are still pretty crazy from BFing DS, so we're in month 5 and cycle 2. I'm pretty sure I'm in the TWW now, but probably won't see crosshairs on FF until tomorrow.
New here and just realized I hadn't done this but I have posted lol {oops!}
Just a bit about me - feel free to ask more if you're curious!
Been with my H since March 2011, and we'll have been married 1yr as of August 1st I'm 28 - almost 29 - and he's literally a week off of being 26 {2yrs 10month age difference!}
We're not TTC yet, but a year from now we will be. We just bought a house and want to settle first before TTC. I'm kind of anxious about that part, but I feel that's pretty normal.
I'm excited to chit-chat with people here in similar boats or even ahead of me to know how others dealt with things.
Trigger Warning: Child Mentioned Hi, My name is Paula. I'm 38, and my husband is 35. We have a four and a half year old boy that we conceived fairly easily. However, we started trying to conceive again two years ago, and we've had zero luck. I opted to work with my obgyn first before seeing a fertility specialist due to the expense associated. He has had me on three cycles of clomid, 50 mgs. The first cycle, my right ovary produced a really nice egg. But it never released the egg. The next two cycles have both been anovulatory, meaning no eggs produced. I'm more than a little disappointed and and frustrated, but we are trying to stay positive. I suspect that my left ovary was pinch hitting for the past two cycles, and her work ethic stinks. In any case, I wish you all the best of luck in achieving that bright pink line.
Hello, I was on the bump years ago (Aug 2012 BMB) but haven't really done much lately. I will be 28 this month (Husband will be 30). We have been actively TTC for 6 months now - Mirena removed last July. We do have a 3 year old son and have been ready for another for a while. I am still working on reading all the rules and previous threads before I post much. I can't wait to get to know you guys!
Why hello! I'm new here. DH and I have been married for just shy of 2 years, together for 7, and are new to the TTC journey. This is our first cycle trying, although I'm going to use the word tracking lightly. I have clockwork cycles (like down to the hour) but other then that not doing much to chart, just letting things happen as they happen.
Hi! I've been apart of the bump a few years back when I unexpectedly became pregnant with my first child. She is now over 2.5 years old and DH and I are ready to try for our next (and probably last) child. We've been TTC for 4 months now. (Only been tracking 3 months). AF is 3 days late, but still no BFP. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I am hopeful. I'm excited to be back on the bump and to chat with you fabulous ladies!
Hello! artemis618 here. DH (41) and I (38, will be 39 in October) just got married three weeks ago on 6/18/16 (dated almost a year then had a six month engagement). First marriage and no kids for either of us...yet. First time ttc - first cycle should have been during honeymoon, but who knows what happened between wedding stress and international travel involving a 17 hour time difference. I suppose I'll have to start temping and paying more attention. We're also starting to shop for a house now (need a yard for any fur babies).
I'm a financial analyst by day but enjoy dancing, skiing, flying (though it's been a while with the wedding), and (warm water on vacation only) diving. FH works in business development and enjoys running, cycling, reading, golfing, and generally learning things and being outdoors.
Looking forward to participating and learning lots!

Hello! Brand new to the Bump (member of the Knot and Nest during and after my wedding). My DH and I are TTC for baby #1. We've been married since 2008 and in our early 30s. I'm very optimistic, since my doctor doesn't seem to see anything wrong with me getting pregnant right away, but I, of course, have a ton of questions so you may see me a lot over in the forums.
Hi ladies!!! I've been a regular bump contributor since last October but this is my first time joining the TTC gang
My husband and I are ttc again. Our record is: 1 m/c (at 8 weeks) 2 chemicals 3 failed IUIs 1 successful IVF (we have a 3 month old son from the IVF ) 1 frozen embryo in storage
infertility diagnosis was based on my husbands low sperm count and motility
because of our infertility struggles we are trying to naturally conceive right away. Right now I'm 6dpo (I temp and use OPKS)
so glad to be joining the ttc gang again and I wish us all the best of luck in our TTC journeys!
Hey Ladies! I am here for the third time around and excited to start trying for another! DH (33) and I (28) have been together for 8 years and we currently have 2 boys (Landen and Bennett) and way too many pets! I have scheduled my IUD removal and I am ready to jump in to the deep in. I am super nervous about going from a man-to-man defense to a zone, but hey I guess hopefully we will get to figure that out in the next year!
Hi there. Long time member, second post (just posted on "You know you're TTC when..." ) . DH and I have been together 9 years, married for 4, TTC for 10 cycles now. Just got my progesterone tested for the first time but ended up testing too early (irregular cycles, tested a 5.7 at 2dpo). Excited for my first posts and to be a part of the Bump and TTC community
Re: ** INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE! **
I'm nervous and excited as I go off BCP early next week. I'm deciding if I want to just go for IT or if I want to do all the charting and such right away. That's where I am. Nice to meet you all!

Just about to finish my first month of TTC. In a few days (hopefully) Ill get that BFP or BFN. I am 31, DH is 33 and we have been married for about a year and a half. I'm a teacher, and he's an animator (draws cartoons, not raises zombies) I'm a sucker for Anita Blake books, so please excuse my humor. We have 1 furry baby, our cat Zoey.
I don't have many close friends that have children, so I haven't talked much about TTC with others. My one TTC friend got pregnant with her 2nd on her 2nd month of trying last month, so I'm definitely looking for others to connect with during this exciting, and ridiculously stressful, sad, trying process.

My name is Erin. I have a 3 year old and we are currently TTC baby # 2. This was our first month actively trying. I have never been on birth control, and with my daughter, we started trying, 9 days after a positive ovulation test, day 25 of my cycle we got a BFP. This time around I am on CD 26, 15 DPO, still BFN but AF still hasn't shown. This is the first month that I have tracked my cycle so I truly have no clue how long my cycles usually are. I am just trying to keep my head up and know that every pregnancy is going to be different.
Looking forward to meeting everyone!
New here and just realized I hadn't done this but I have posted lol {oops!}
Just a bit about me - feel free to ask more if you're curious!
Been with my H since March 2011, and we'll have been married 1yr as of August 1st
I'm 28 - almost 29 - and he's literally a week off of being 26 {2yrs 10month age difference!}
We're not TTC yet, but a year from now we will be. We just bought a house and want to settle first before TTC. I'm kind of anxious about that part, but I feel that's pretty normal.
I'm excited to chit-chat with people here in similar boats or even ahead of me to know how others dealt with things.
Hmmm .... idk what else to say

Hi,
My name is Paula.

I was on the bump years ago (Aug 2012 BMB) but haven't really done much lately. I will be 28 this month (Husband will be 30). We have been actively TTC for 6 months now - Mirena removed last July. We do have a 3 year old son and have been ready for another for a while. I am still working on reading all the rules and previous threads before I post much. I can't wait to get to know you guys!

Hi ladies!!! I've been a regular bump contributor since last October but this is my first time joining the TTC gang
My husband and I are ttc again. Our record is:
1 m/c (at 8 weeks)
2 chemicals
3 failed IUIs
1 successful IVF (we have a 3 month old son from the IVF )
1 frozen embryo in storage
infertility diagnosis was based on my husbands low sperm count and motility
because of our infertility struggles we are trying to naturally conceive right away.
Right now I'm 6dpo (I temp and use OPKS)
so glad to be joining the ttc gang again and I wish us all the best of luck in our TTC journeys!
