Update: 1st monitoring was this morning. Lining was 4.9, 4 follies over 8mm and 5 under 8mm. I'm waiting for my instructions and will probably have another monitoring this weekend. I'm feeling excited and hopeful! QOTD: We met at a bar almost 12 years ago. He approached me as I was picking music, we hung out all night, I gave him my phone number and he never called. A month later I saw him again and he said he lost my number. He didn't lose it that time. Apparantly he didn't lose it the first time either...I found the paper I wrote my number on in his apartment. He admitted he was too shy to call.

Good luck to everyone waiting and waiting--whether its for stims, or follicle development, or a cancelled cycle, or in the 2WW!

Update: not much news; just waiting for ET on Saturday--which is also our six-year wedding anniversary . I did hear that we had 2 perfect 8-cell embryos as of yesterday (the docs debated doing the transfer then, but we want an eSet, so waiting for day 5).

QOTD: We actually met on Match.com, almost 10 years ago now. Our first date was hilarious--it was Halloween, and DH got a recommendation from a friend to take me to the "Rocky Horror Spooky Puppet Show" at the local puppet theater. Little did he know there was porn as part of a puppet show! He was embarrassed, I laughed my ass off, and we had a great time.

Only 2 of our 16 eggs fertilized. I won't lie I'm a little bummed. But praying for these 2 little ones. ET on Sunday.

QOTD; I'm a paramedic/firefighter and he's a police officer that works in the same small town. I love it we get to see a lot of each other.

I'm still stimming. I go in tomorrow for monitoring and it's looking like my ER will be on Monday or Tuesday. Good luck to everyone doing ERs and ETs this weekend!

QOTD: I was home for Christmas break one during my 3rd year of college. I was jogging through town and my husband spotted me. He works for UPS and during Christmas they have helpers on the trucks with them. His helper happened to be one of my brother's friends and he got my number....Our first date was on New Year's Day. Funny thing is, when I was home the summer before, he had caught my eye. I ordered tons of things that summer so he would deliver to me at work in hopes of catching his eye, but nothing happend...until a few months later. I'm glad it worked out that way. We had both just gotten out of serious relationships, like engaged serious, right before summer. I don't like either of us were quite ready to jump into something else serious so soon that summer so it worked out perfect! Smile

Hi Everyone! I took today off thinking today would be my transfer however my doctors office called me when I saw on the way to my acupuncture appointment and they said that the 8 embies were still going strong so we are now doing a 5dt and will have our transfer on Mother's Day. I hope that's a good sign! Our BETA will still be on 5/25.

QOTD: My husband and I met over 13 years ago on a blind (group) date in high school set up by one of my best friends. We dated in college and after 7 years of dating, we got married.

Nothing new to report.

My sister and his cousin were friends. They introduced us. I didnt like him at first. He asked me to dance at the bar and i said no lol... we were 18. A year or so later he started hanging out with my group of friends... he had got into some trouble at school and wasnt allowed to dorm there anymore... (the story of our lives right there) so he was in the neighborhood more ... We were good friends at first. We were gym buddies and even though i had my own car and lived with in walking distance... he would pick me up in his parents beat up station wagon. We went on a date and i still didnt like him any more than a friend definitely not enough to start dating him. Then as we hung out more and more i started to develop feelings for him. Then one night i saw him hooking up with some girl and was so jealous. lol... the next weekend we hooked up and that was that... that was the summer of 2001.

QOTD: We met on match.com... my sister met her husband that way and suggested it to me. My DH had recently moved from out of state so he didn't really know anyone and was looking to meet someone outside of work. I knew on our first date it was something special

Update: I am just waiting till tomorrow morning. Hopefully they get lots of good quality eggs. I guess I will find out on Mothers day if they are good enough quality or not This is probably a last shot for us before moving on to either donor egg or adoption so I really hope that this works.

I actually met my husband in high school; I was dating his best friend at the time, and when we met we actually hated each other. We had the same group of friends so over the next few years we kept bumping into each other, but everytime we did nothing happened. Finally 7 years ago we bump into each other again and became friends and then from there our relationship developed. My SD likes to say that God just kept pushing us together until we stuck. lol It does kinda seem that way, because we would always get pushed together when we were both single. We started dating may of 2006 and by Thanksgiving 2007 we were married. Smile

Update - my cycle has been cancelled. Despite having great numbers and to the utter frustration of myself and my docs, I did not respond at all to the stims. I developed one follie. One. I have an appointment in 2 weeks to find out what they think happened and if we have any options from here. I can't even tell you how sad I am.

I'm started to get impatient...still no AF!! Where the heck is it...the one time I actually want to be bloaty and crampy and the dang thing wont come, go figure! It looks like I am now really pushing a June transfer, which is fine - but I am so anxious to get going! Not sure if I am still a May Flower, but I am rooting for everyone of you May Flowers!!!

QOTD - My husband and I met at 24 hour Fitness. I was a trainer and he work in sales. He wanted to start training and I had the availability to train him. We hit it off and realized we really liked one another. We have been together nearly 6 years, but just got married last September.

Update: Nothing new. I go in tomorrow morning for another follie check. I am happy to report no itchy blotch after this mornings Cetrotide injection and it didn't take me nearly as long to mix it today as it did last night.

QOTD: My DH and I met on match.com. We dated for about 3 months before getting engaged and then were married a year and a half later. I remember seeing that his profile had viewed mine and I wasn't going to wink/message him at first because I figured he wasn't interested since he didn't wink/message me after looking at my profile. However, I decided what harm would it do to wink/message him and sure enough he responded. After we were engaged we found out that it was his SIL who looked at my page when she was setting up his account for him. So if I hadn't off contacted him we may never have gotten together.

Update: I've been delayed 3 days. I know it isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things but it's very annoying and it means I have to cancel my vacation to Orlando w DH. That's what I get for trying to do too much at once. Stupid slow growing follies!

Qotd: DH and I met at the bar for a mutual friend's bday party. We did not hit it off that night or the next few times we met! We ended up being friends for a few months before we decided we liked each other. When we kissed I felt butterflies. Our chemistry was awesome.

Update: I am on stims currently day 5 with another US on Sunday. Then hopefully we will have a better idea of ER from there. Qotw: DH and I met at summer camp, we were both counselors. I really didn't realize he wanted to ebb date me since he was so different from the guys I was usually into. We finally got together and "the rest is history"

Update: ER is Monday - I trigger tonight at 11:55pm. My DH says SNL will be good tonight so we'll have no problem staying up!

QOTD: well I thought we met at work - we both teach at the same high school in 2006. It turns out there is a picture of the two of us from 1998 in my husband's high school yearbook. We did not go to the same high school and are two years apart but both were in charge of a competing fundraisers between our two schools. I don't remember him but I do remember the fundraiser. After we found that picture we knew the deal was sealed, fate had us!
