Hey everybody! My husband and I have been TTC for about 2 years now. About a year ago we found out that he is azoospermic..after letting that sink in and looking at our options, we decided on IUI with DS. In February we did our first IUI, unmedicated, and it didn't work. I'm a teacher.. So we decided to wait until my summer break to do another. Finally the time is here! I will go in for my day 3 ultrasound this week and we will go from there. I am looking forward to be able to chat with you ladies through this process!

Hi everyone!  Like many, I've lurked on here for a while.  I've bopped back and forth between this board and BOTB, but this one seems much more active.

My husband (28) and I (26) are high school sweethearts, we married in July 2014.  We were planning on trying to start a family in June.  Unfortunately, that is being delayed.  We went on a Caribbean vacation in April and with the Zika virus, we have decided to play it safe and start a little later.  I will likely get off HBC (which I have been on for 10 years) in July.  We will then move forward with trying to conceive in August or September.

Until then I will probably continue to lurk around, but in case I decide to post, I wanted to introduce myself first.  Good luck to all you ladies!

Hi friends! I'm ttc #2 using DS as I'm single. I have a 2.5 year old conceived naturally in 1 month so I'm very hopeful. I loved my birth month club with my first so I'm excited to be back on the bump. I'm in the tww now after IUI 13 days ago.

Good luck!! I am only on day 1 of my cycle, so I'm about two weeks or more behind you! Kind of in the same boat with the donor sperm, this will be our second time. Keep me updated!:)

Hi everyone. I've lurked a lot, and this board seems to be the most active. I look forward to getting involved here!

We have three kids and I've had three m/cs over the years with the most recent being last July at 14 weeks. I've never had fertility issues in the past, and always been very fortunate to get pg quickly. This time, though, it's taking a while. We're on cycle 10 and now seeing an RE, as I'm over 35, who has found nothing wrong. I'm in the tww now and we're planning to start clomid and IUI next month.

Hi everyone. Like many I've been lurking for quite awhile and learning lots of good information. We're getting married in July and we are planning to start TTC #1 in August. I will be off hbc in July after 10 years so we'll see how that goes. We have two fur babies, a cat and a dog. I might be posting on the BOTB board but I'll come back over here in August so I thought I'd introduce myself! Getting excited to start our family and getting to know all of you!

I have been lurking some here so wanted to intro and not be that rando that posts one day without thinking about it. DH and I are working on having our second child. I have a 2 1/2 year old son and was active on TTGP back in late 2012/early 2013, but I know a ton has changed since then. I had a surprise ectopic pregnancy in January that required the removal of my right tube due to rupture. It has been a rough few months with some days better than others, but DH and I are finally on the same page about everything. Glad to be back here and part of the community again.

    Hello!

I'm belocin and I'm excited to be back at TTGP! I was around when trying for our first but struggled with the consuming nature of TTC (all self-induced) and signed off for almost two years. I am still waiting for my first postpartum cycle (DD is 14 months and I am still nursing 2x a day) but I couldn't wait to get back here. I've spent the last few weeks lurking (hey from the shadows!) and I look forward to getting to know you ladies! Here's to temping, participating in the randoms, and finally figuring out how to update my signature!

Been trying to conceive #1, for countless cycles. Stopped the pill March 2011, seen my OB 12 months later for help. Referred to fertility specialist. Tried going au naturale with naturopath - tried fertilaid, vitex, EPO.... did 6 cycles of clomid, 1 IVF cycle. All bfn. Diagnosed with PCOS, by my OB, but my fertility specialist didn't feel that was an appropriate diagnosis, since my labs, and ultrasounds showed what she called premature ovarian aging. Great! I'm 28, soon to be 29, but with the ovaries of a 33 yr old, was her guess. Fantastic even less time to begin my dream family! Oh and add in my spouses MFI, he is 33. And we quite the recipe for failure. But we continue on. This cycle I'm trying femara & coQ10 with TI. My DH is taking fertilsan supplement. In my 2ww right now. I dread 2ww, beginning of my cycle I'm a positive person but by the 2ww I turn so pessimistic... All looks good again on paper this cycle, like all the rest. +ovulation confirmed with blood work, temping, and ultrasound. And good timing with TI, only time will tell, but I always knew it would take some time never ever did I think it would take this long! At this point I'm not being picky, 1 child would be a dream come true!
End of rant, sorry... Hormonally influenced!

    Hello Everyone!

1st- clearly I love gifs and GOT but haven't gotten the swing of it posting gifs yet!

I found the Bump about two weeks ago and have been lurking ever since. I know its a short amount of time but I've been lurking literally non-stop. I felt like I should introduce myself. Also I just wanted to start contributing. I'm 30 going on 31 in June. DH is younger, he's 28. We got married on 1.10.15. Just bought a house and started TTC. I was on BC for 4 years and stopped 3 months ago. We've been TTC for 3 months. I just started temping. Before that we've just been doing the BD a lot. We have a family business that I *try* to do social media for. We have a dog, Charlie, who is 13 and my first child (sorry if that offends but that's how I feel!) We also just found a cat outside and gave her a home.

I am really excited to join this community! It has been super comforting to read everyone's posts and comments!

    Hi all,
I was around previously with a different username, but never memorable. Anyway, decided to jump back in now that we're on the cusp of the 11 month mark.

I'm 33 and DH is 36. We've been trying for 10 months with good timing but no luck. Currently temping, OPKs, and some CM. DH's SA came back normal. It's been incredibly frustrating and stressful, especially as this was what I was most afraid of.  That and everyone around me has suddenly become pregnant. I'm making an appt with the fertility clinic recommended by my OB for this summer. In the meantime, I'll be enjoying our adorable kitty--despite her utter indifference to anything that isn't tuna flakes--and child-free life in NYC. That and all the wine, beer, soft cheeses, and deli meats I can consume. ;-)

Hey all!  I've been lurking for a few(ish) months now and started TTC for #1 a month ago so I thought I'd introduce myself and start jumping in!  DH and I got married last September and I got my IUD removed at the end of March and wanted to wait a month to see how my body adjusted until starting TTC.

Hello, everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself! I am a 33 year old teacher about to get married 7/23/16... Future hubby will be 32 soon after our wedding. We wanted to TTC asap, but we waiting since we are honeymooning in the Caribbean in Jamaica for 8 days / Cayman for 6 days and he doesn't want to change trip plans. I am having major anxiety over getting Zika since both FH and I are type O blood and get bitten often! I have been casually charting (mostly CM and AF) for six months since I went off BCP. Also nervous since I have a herniated disc and I'm not sure how that will mesh with future pregnancy. I have an annual set for mid June, so we will see what the OB/Gyn says! No history of fertility issues in our family aside from my fraternal twin, who had PCOS and endometriosis. I have been told I had Von Willebrand clotting disorder, but recent tests point to no. FH is one of 4 and I'm one of 5. His mom is one of 7, my mom is one of 9, and my dad is one of 7. One of my sisters has 4 kids. (No we're not super religious or from the middle of nowhere...haha) Hopefully fertility is on our side! I have been reading the boards for a while and keep my fingers crossed for everyone daily.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

Me this Summer. *edited bc I forgot this pic! lol

@knottie88090707 I would be so worried about Zika too. I was planning to go to Mexico earlier this month and canceled. The scariest is that if a male gets bit by a mosquito carrying Zika it lives in semen for a lot longer if not indefinitely (last I checked).

What is everyone else's thoughts on Zika?

Im from Texas so I'm pretty concerned. Its been raining a lot here and cooler than normal for this time of month. I am dreading when it warms up.

Hey everyone! DH and I have been married 5 years and we have one DS born 10/2013.  We've been TTC since April 2015 after my IUD was removed. Took my body a while to adjust. I got a positive PG test in November, but MC a week later at 7w1d.  Waited for AF to return and started again in Feb 2016, but not actively trying since we had a vacay planned for April. This month our TTC attitude is fierce, and I've been using Wondfo OPK tests to track my O. Got a positive this morning, so here's to doing the BD!!

Hello! I've been lurking here for a week or so and trying to get the hang of all these abbreviations! I'm still a bit lost, but thought I'd say Hi. I'm 32, and DH is 34. We have been together for 13 years, married for 4, and just started TTC this month! We have 3 dogs, and since we are now working from home at our own business most of the time (I also have a part time job) we've decided it's a good time to finally go for it. I'm currently in the TTW period and I totally never thought before about how brutal the wait would be! I've been lurking the TWW boards, but wasn't sure what all the little post sections mean. Can anyone explain to me what R/R/CS means? Nice to meet all of you!

    Hey there everyone!
I am 30 and DH is 36. We have been married since November 2015. We have 4 furbabies (1 pit Vader, 1 huskey Maya, 2 flame point Siamese cats Blaise & lily). We are both gamers and love out XBox Ones :)

I found out in 2012 that I have PCOS. I had been working out and eating right but was still gaining 3-5 pounds a week. Main issues with BW was insulin resistance and high testosterone. And also not ovulating and AF showing up 3 times a year. After tweaking my diet and doing some research, I found something that worked for me and up until getting married last year, I had lost 100 pounds.(I have gained some back since then - booooooooo) My cycles have become regular 30-34 days for the past 2 years.

We have been TTC #1 since before we got married. We had gotten pregnant the end of 2014 and found out I was pregnant and also miscarrying on the same day (New Years Eve) thanks to an ER visit.

We got referred to an RE at the beginning of the year, and all of my BW has been awesome with everything in the normal range, testosterone only a tad bit high. HSG clear. Hubby had a SA done and it showed low volume. Came back 1 week later and all was well.

We just started on the lesser complicated treatment consisting of US monitoring, Ovidrel trigger, and TI. After 3-4 cycles we will move on to IUI.

I am looking forward to becoming a part of this community and getting to know all of you awesome ladies. I have been lurking and you guys rock!!!

Hello everyone! My name is Linda, I'm 28 and I am soon going to be TTC. Technically, I am benched for the next 6 months while I wait to heal from an ectopic cervical pregnancy. This was DH's and I second pregnancy, and we're slowly coming to terms with the outcome. DH and I have been married for a year and half, and we have 3 furbabies - a dog and two cats. While I'm not actively TTC, I look forward to reading everyone's advice and reading some pretty amazing threads! I've heard good things about TCOYF, so I'll probably pick up a copy in preparation.

    Hi!
My husband and I are trying to conceive!   We had a miscarriage in April of 2015, and then immediately got pregnant and had a healthy set of twins( who were preemies)!   The twins are 5 months and we have decided to try again.   Everyone thinks we would be crazy to have more, so unfortunately I can't share this with my family.   We have done so well with the twins, we can afford more children so I don't see what the problem is!

    Good luck to everyone!

Hi All!  I'm Kate, and am somewhat new to the bump.  I have a 3.5 year old son, and was on the bump moderately throughout my pregnancy.  I am back on here again in an attempt help ttc.  My husband and I have not prevented pregnancy since my son was born, and recently this year have begun trying.  I got a BFP unexpectedly (I just assumed I wouldn't be able to get pregnant again) 4/30/16 at 5 weeks pregnant.  Unfortunately this was short lived as I had a miscarriage 5/3/16.  Although I am sad over this loss, I am excited try again!  I have recently visited the doctor regarding my PCOS and he has some ideas to help my fertility.  I'm going in Tuesday for lots of testing!  I have never posted to boards on here before, but am so excited for my new adventure and to share it with you all!

Hi everyone. I'm Krys, 34, from the DFW area. My husband, who is 35, and I are trying for #1. We both have busy careers, but after years of thinking we weren't going down this path, we both decided at the same time we were really missing out and it was time to get to it. That, and me telling him shop closes at 35 - ha! We've been married for almost 11 years (Friday is our anniversary), bought a new home at this time last year, and have 2 rotten French Bulldogs.

    Hi Ladies!

We recently decided to take the leap and begin trying for baby #2. I participated on the TTGP board back in 2013 while I battled PCOS and went through some fertility testing to figure out what was up with my super long and irregular cycles. I was very fortunate to get pregnant and had my daughter in October '14, and was semi-active on that board. She is nearly 19 months now and we have decided we are ready for #2....at least as ready as one can be!!

I really appreciated all of the knowledge and support from the boards during my first round, so I look forward to jumping back in and spending time with you ladies the second time around.

Hi everyone! I have been lurking here forever and finally decided to be less creepy and actually make an account. :) I'm 33, my husband is 34, and we're currently on month 7 of trying for #1. I have charted my BBT off and on for multiple years--I first started in 2012, to confirm that I was ovulating after coming off a dozen years of birth control--so that background was helpful when we started actively TTC. I have pretty normal cycles and no obvious issues, so we're just chugging along, hoping for the best! For now, I lavish all of my attention on my furkids (two giant cats and one Australian shepherd/cattle dog pup) and try to focus more on my job (I'm a librarian at a university) than on having a baby...I'd say I succeed at least some of the time!

Looking forward to actively participating and actually getting to know all of you!

Hi, all! I'm a lurker but used to post fairly regularly under a different username back in fall/winter of 2014 before we had our now 9 month old son, Henry. My husband and I have been NTNP for the past couple of months but now feel ready to actively begin TFAS.

    A little about me:

I'm a registered nurse and certified crazy Gemini, born and raised in NYC but with the heart and soul of a farm girl. I love to read, ride horses, travel, and am an avid movie aficionado. I'm a complete Anglophile and obsessed with anything Disney, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Gone With the Wind, BSG '03, and Marvel comics. Genealogy is awesome. Sloths are fantastic, and otters are the sh*t. Also, common core math can suck it and I will continue to resolutely call Pluto a planet no matter what anyone says. So there.

I'm excited to get to know you all, and wish everyone luck on their TTC journey!

Well now that I've lurked for the better part of a month, bought a bbt, am about 5 chapters in to TCOYF, and downloaded FF, I'd like to introduce myself.

    **TW** previous pregnancy

I was was part of O15 BMB. It was active and really fun, up until some people got butt hurt with a few of our regulars, some regs got banned, I lost interest.

I have a 7 month old and a 9 year old (girls). DH and I are TTC again, and wanted to get an early start because it took ~10 months for my last baby.

**TW again, losses mentioned** I worked for my county health department as a nurse doing epidemiological work for the Fetal and Infant Mortality Review. I investigated the non-CPS infant and fetal deaths in the county and presented cases before a monthly review board. The idea was to attempt to collect and distribute stats regarding mortality risk factors, in order to guide future policy. It got to be really difficult for me to continue with these in depth investigations, especially when I had to interview mothers who had experienced loss. I think it contributed to some pretty severe PPD, so I resigned a couple months ago. I'm now a SAHM, and I love it almost as much as I am bored and exhausted by it.

I'm looking forward to weeks/months/oh please not longer of snark and gifs with you ladies, and thanks to you all I am well on my way to being better educated about this whole process (bought the book and bbt on this group's recommendation). Cheers!

Edited to add: I almost only bump on my phone, and for some reason when I used my login, it reverted back to an old account I haven't used in ages. I was CaitLewis15, and was pretty active...and I'm pretty bummed all my stats haven't transferred. I'll try to fix it.

I am 31 and DH is 38. We have a 10 month old and are planning to start our journey to TTC #2. I was not super active on my BMB with my first (I'm a Peds ICU/ NICU nurse so I felt that it was best to leave the neurotic-ness to myself)

I have been lurking for awhile (borderline stalkerish) waiting until I could get in to get my IUD removed, but apparently my body had other plans because it dislodged on its own a few days ago (not a comfortable process!). I am planning to lurk a little bit more while waiting for my next cycle to start then I will start tracking things. I wasn't planning for this month to be that we would get rolling on this, but it beats an IUD that is half out!

    Hi lovely ladies...

So i've lingered in the background here for a bit now, just looking around a little scared to post anything. Figured it was time to step out of the shadows and intro myself. I'm 24, DH is 25, we've been married since August 2014, but together since September of 2006. We we're babies back then, although in someways we still are now. I graduated Law School in May and am taking the bar in July... we'd really like to have baby in the next year or so, we have two fur babies, a beautiful Tabby named Diva and a crazy pit pup named Dixie. They're our babies. We've been TTC #1 since July of 2015 (but were NTNP from Aug. 2014 should have known something was up... but hey hindsight is 20/20). I was diagnosed with PCOS in Jan. 16, and have been really struggling with it ever since. Doc says its not as bad as I think, but in my head it's totally as bad as I think. But I also don't want to give up, and I won't. I'm pretty determined... its just my personality. Doing what I can naturally and hoping for the best. Looking forward to sharing this journey with you beautiful ladies and hopefully a lot of positive things in our futures :)

    Love T.

Hi! I've been lurking for a while. My DH and I are 33 and this is our first time TTC. I guess that's not accurate since we TTA because I'm a CPA and I'm afraid to have a due date during busy season. But once we start I'm not pausing to avoid.
I went off the pill in January and luckily cycles have been fairly regular since then.

Hi everyone!  Just a quick intro. I'm Lily, I'm 34 and I'm TTC my second child (currently have a 20 month old). Just been off the pill for a little over a month and so far no go on the first cycle but we are just getting started!

Hi everyone.  This is my first time posting, im new to this.   I am 32 (soon to be 33) and my fiance is 35.  We stop using birth control in July of 2015 with the idea that if we got pregnant.... Yay... but in January we made the decision to TTC.  Freaking out .
