@AlwaysAuntNeverMom I got these flowers from hobby lobby and stapled them on the frame. I was planning on doing more but it was a pain so I stopped at the one corner lol I think it will be fine since its on an accent wall with polka dots
@reesaXden thank you! I'm not the biggest fan of pink, so fell in love with the grays and mint of this set. It's the Lolli Living Sparrow collection. You can find it on Amazon, BuyBuyBaby online, and Kohl's to name a few. I preferred buying non-gifted pieces from Kohl's with my Kohl's card for 30% off.
@guitarra1614 it's the IKEA Hemnes dresser in antique white. I've seen a few others here post it; super popular nursery choice. And it was on sale two months ago.
@RedMar thank you! It's a tad tall for me since I'm only 5'0 but I love it! IKEA Skubb drawer organizers. I just looked up Hemnes dresser organizer on Pinterest for configuration ideas.
Busted my rear this afternoon with DH to get this together. SO HOT! AC is still on the fritz so it was in the 80's while doing some of this but WORTH IT! Poor DH had such trouble with the crib because the instructions were sooooooooo vague. He finally got it together though and it looks fantastic.
I finished painting a huge portion of the room and got up some pretties and arranged some of the furniture. We still need to get a dust ruffle, hang a few more pictures, and I have to find a cute standing lamp to go behind the rocking chair but it's on its way. Loving this space!
Excuse lighting quality. That window is letting in some serious beams.
All the nursery pictures look fantastic and at the same time are making me panic!
My crib should be delivered in about a week and we are turning our second/guest room into the nursery but keeping the queen bed in the room too. I'm still trying to envision the space and having difficulty since it still needs to be a multi purpose room. How I wish we had a bit more space
We moved last weekend so I finally have a nursery to set up! My mil painted this weekend, and I ordered the cribs late last week. My mom and I also went to buy fabric for quilts she is making for the girls, as well as crib skirts and changing pad covers. I have some wall decor and a plan for some more. It's finally coming together!
We decided to go with a Nautical/beach theme for the nursery. It's currently DS1's room, so we'll bunk him in with his brother (and do that room a superhero theme) in a few weeks and get started. The nursery is already blue so it's just a matter of putting the crib back together and hanging new decorations.
I love all the pictures so far! I am not a crafty or creative person AT ALL so it's amazing to me to see all the DIY work you ladies are doing. Keep it up!!
Girls I am in the home stretch with the nursery. Just waiting on my curtains and sheets, need to put the crib higher and hang a few more things. I'm relieved I am almost done since I will be gone visiting family in PA/NJ for two weeks in July. Can't wait until baby Ava is here...well yes I can wait just a little more
@Bibliobebe - I LOVE your big Little Nutbrown Hare.. we read that book almost nightly, and every single night I tell my son "I love you right up to the moon and right back down to the dirt" ... so just a little spin on the story line. Obsessed.
Serious nursery envy over here! We're stuck on setting ours up until we get new carpet, but I just got word that the carpet is IN! Now we just need to schedule the install!
ETA: DH scheduled the carpet install for TUESDAY! What?! So excited! And I have that day off, so we'll definitely be putting everything in the new room ASAP!
@AnnaS930 - We found that big fluffy thing at TJMaxx. You know when you see something and it's instalove? DH and I were just strolling through and I saw him and my heart kind of squealed in joy. As soon as I picked it up, that was it. Couldn't leave without it. This was before we had any nursery ideas, but I figured he'd fit no matter what!
Hi, I'm actually finding myself in the opposite position where I am looking for an off white crib for a baby girl nursery, but all I can find online are pure white cribs. Would you mind sharing the off white models you have seen? I would love to find one! Thanks!
@dvh16 don't know what kind of style you're interested in but DH and I fell in love with this crib (and the whole set for that matter) for our little girl. We're already getting my niece's furniture so we won't get it but it's gorgeous! https://m.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=46546396
Thank you AlwaysAuntNeverMom, this set is really pretty, were you able to see it in person? Where I live we really only have Babies R Us stores and a BuyBuyBaby is about an hour away. The stores only seem to have a very few sets on display. I wish there were more options to see in person, but I love to hear others opinions which are always helpful! (I know This is not the place to post this, but I'm not sure how to reply directly to your comment, hope I did it right? Thanks so much!)
@dvh16 I've seen that crib set in person (I briefly considered it myself). It's a very antiqued ivory, very shabby chic. It looks almost like it has a slight "dirtiness" to it. That sounds bad, but it's very pretty.
It's not your standard "clean" off-white/ivory, though, in my opinion, if that matters.
It seemed pretty well-made and sturdy and I liked the "beaded" trim. It makes me think of something from a French chalet.

What she said lol
Yeah, I've seen it in person at Babies R Us and we considered getting it before we were offered the crib/changing table that we're getting. I think it's gorgeous and I'd love it for my little girl but you know taste can vary from person to person!
Holy moly some of these nurseries are incredible!!!! Well done, ladies.
Does anyone have a place where I can find a cute safari themed sheet for a queen sized bed? Our guest room will double as a nursery and we are keeping the bed in there for now. I want it to at least look cute so hoping to find at least a sheet to throw over the made bed (to pull off for sleep easily since my dog is allowed on that bed).
It's been tough finding a cute pattern for a flat sheet size queen. Everything is twin or smaller!
We spent all day today hanging things up on the wall and completing a few last crafts! I still have one sign to go that says "Poop Deck" that will go on the dresser by the changing pad. We're still waiting on some things like bedding and other registry items, but super glad this part is complete!
Thanks @SarahDarah333, we finished and my husband was like "will you decorate our room now?" And I could have set him on fire. He HATES everything I suggest or do. Even as we were doing the nursery! This is by far the most decorated space in our house, Im nervous about getting depressed when he deploys so I tried to make it something I'd admire .

@kosmo86 I'm petite too. May have to tippytoe a tad to reach the changing pad. Also, this book made me think of you:

Finally got the walls and ceiling painted for our Alice in Wonderland nursery. Once my body forgives me I'll start putting the room together.
