@Spartanrd4@moofish2364 Yes! Being in the Midwest ought to count! In the mean time, I'll do my best to spread my fertile seed over here in corn land. No, wait, that's DH's job Maybe I'll just do a fertility dance. Make it raaaaaaaiiin BFPs!
Oh my goodness I know something was up when I had a ton of unread post notifications for this thread! Congratulations @Spartanrd4! I'm so happy for you!!!
@dubcompanion I had a little dip at 4-5dpo last cycle and I read it's likely due to a secondary estrogen surge if I recall correctly. I'll attach that chart. Obviously ended in BFN, but I don't think it has any bearing on whether you end up pregnant or not.
Sorry if this is huge, I'm on mobile. Also, we totally have more relations than listed...I only keep track pre-o!
@dubcompanion chiming in. I don't know the answer to your question but I'm curious now! Also, am I the only who rolls over after sex to put it in FF? Marking the BD makes me feel accomplished. I don't even think my husband knows I mark it in my phone immediately after because I usually do it when he goes to the bathroom after. I lay in bed and try to will sperm up my cervix with brain power.
*Sigh* Only because I love you, @iceandsnowflakes29 and because you've had a rough week. And I too, proudly put in my BD times ASAP (whilst telling DH spermies to swim for the gold)! But again... it's for Science.
Below is my current chart. Probably TMI, but alas, it's all in love and for Science.
ETA: For non-Kindara users, the hearts are the BDs.
@iceandsnowflakes29 It's Kindara, and I've used it since the start of TTC back in March '15. I've of course heard of FF but to be extremely honest, when I checked it out... I got the impression I was playing on a PS4 (Kindara), and I was staring at Atari (FF). So I've stuck with Kindara. It'd also be a pain to manually input past data into a new app.
But I don't mean to diss FF either!! Many women use it, so I'm sure it's invaluable!
@Wishilivedinflorida Ya... I'm seriously not trying to toot my own horn, but I do hope it's understandable why I get pissy when I'm NOT getting KU over here, month after month. Like, we're banging it out. All the time. ALL THE TIME BANGING. Not complainin' just sayin'..
I'll look more into the implantation dips since I'm genuinely curious now. (I'm actually in the middle of TCOYF, so that'll be my bedtime reading for tonight! Heck, it'll probably answer my question.)
@iceandsnowflakes29 Let me know if you have any questions. I'll also add that they're great about feedback. I once noticed that the last day of every cycle was cut out completely, and I emailed them. I got an email back 12 hours later, AND when they updated the app, they mentioned it specifically in their bug fixes. I was impressed. I'm sure I may not have been the only one to notice but still. It was cool.
First things first congratulations for your BFP @Spartanrd4 !!!
about the amount of BD, @dubcompanion that is surely enthusiastic! Don't be discouraged. I read in a book where I learned the FAM :

@iceandsnowflakes29 I use kindara too. Out of curiosity I downloaded ff this month. I feel like ff has more data input options where kindara you have to create more data categories manually- which is easy. Seems like ff may have more data analysis too... But honestly I only see "pregnancy points" feeding into my BSC.
ETA: @dubcompanion I had no real dip with my BFP. And holy bd!
@Amdogger82@iceandsnowflakes29 Yeah, FF is big on data analysis. I hear ppl talk about crosshairs all the time and I'm like ..... Sure? lol I did recently learn that I can log into Kindara's website and change individual data to "update automatically." Everything was defaulted to "update manually." (On mobile you can choose to start new cycles manually but no say in temp change/CL/peak day.) I also now know, thanks to the website version, that my LP is 13 days and my average cycle length is 29.6 days; that info doesn't show up anywhere - that I know of - on mobile. I think I'll download FF tomorrow and play around with it. I did that a year ago but I'll really inspect things this time around, if only to have a fair assessment of the app.
@yolandamunoz Thanks for the reassurance! FWIW, the month I got a BFP we were only doing it EOD. But IDK. I've just been randier during the FW since my loss (and since feeling more emotionally ready).
I am Glad you are feeling better @dubcompanion way to go!

@yolandamunoz I use OvaGraph and used to get crosshairs. But this month I'm like cd22 and still no crosshairs. I have like 5 days of high temps too. I'm not sure what is going on anymore. Lol
10 dpo here and the first day of my double-dip experiment (wondfos & surepredict) and nothing so far, of course. I did have the tiniest amount of spotting yesterday and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that's a good sign! I started progesterone supplements 3dpo which has me feeling good about my chances if this is in fact our month, but the downside is that it drives me crazy with SS...ugh.

TTGP is big time FF loyal. I lurked one post where this girl asked about her chart which wasn't in FF and they told her to download FF and enter all her data in there and then repost it for a chart stalk. (I really side eyed that silently ) also saw someone get flamed for hand charting with paper and pen. Heaven forbid. (None of this was recently).
I think I'm 2dpo. I cut up my pineapple. I hate it. I hate every last bite. Why does it taste so much different than canned pineapple?! (Rhetorical question, obviously everything tastes different canned vs. fresh) It's never been a favorite fruit of mine, anyhow.
@iceandsnowflakes29 Wow, that's a little extreme. I love to lurk TTGP but never really got up the nerve to post but one time. It's overwhelming to me over there. @wishilivedinflorida I tried pineapple core for the first time this past cycle- Not saying it's magical but it definitely didn't hurt either! I ate fresh....I never eat canned, for some reason it tastes sweeter to me. Have no idea why.
@Wishilivedinflorida I'm sorry it sucks but don't revert to canned. The heating process when they can it destroys the bromelin which is the whole thing you are trying to get.

@Wishilivedinflorida Is your pineapple ripe enough? There are few fruits yuckier than an unripe pineapple- especially the core! It should be sweet and taste like pure golden sunshine. You should be able to smell the sweetness before cutting it and the green tops should come out easily if you lightly tug.

@reneeannemm Maybe that's my problem. I bought it on Sunday. It actually burned the sides of my tongue to eat it. Bleh...the core was super tough and rather tasteless, actually.
@SnobunnieMel Hey girl! I did read to eat only fresh, so even though it sucks I'll be plowing my way through it the rest of the week. Obviously refrigeration is ok, right?

@Wishilivedinflorida Definitely not ripe! Buy it around CD 3 or 4 and let ripen on the counter. If it seems to be going too fast, stick it in the fridge until it's time to eat!

@Wishilivedinflorida My lactose intolerance isn't too bad. I can eat hard cheeses and drink milk. It's mainly certain soft cheeses and local, fresh dairy. The latter really sucks that I can't enjoy. I live in Iowa but when I visit my hometown in WI, I always forget (or deny) my intolerance and usually spend a half-day of my visit in misery over my choices.
@dubcompanion - Oh, trust me, I'm SS like a $@&# even though I know symptoms are caused by progesterone and I may be causing them with the supplements. My big pre-bfp tells have always been crazy dreams (I once dreamed about a giant spider clutching a teddy bear while a monkey in an organ grinder suit patted its head) and road rage (strange I know). So far, I've not had any super strange dreams, but I did scream at a lot of people in traffic today...

Y'all are making me seriously want a pineapple!! I looked it up, though, and the interwebs said I shouldn't do it because I already take a blood thinner (baby aspirin)

My Harvest Moon game arrived!! (@AliciaGoose would be so proud.) Now commencing a game that hopefully takes up all my time, and I forget that I'm SS and have like 30 HPTs in my bathroom.
@MissPrint1219 Is ibuprofen also supposed to be avoided? It'd be nice to take it during PMS week since I get cramping, but I'm never sure if it really is PMS or a looming BFP. Rawr. Okay, off I go play.

*lurker*
YESSSS! Have fun. Our conversation revived my desire to play and I've been putting some serious hours into Story of Seasons!
Also to butt in and answer your second question, ibuprofen should unfortunately be avoided. It's a blood thinner so it's no good. And I've also read it could potentially delay ovulation during the WTO period but I don't think there is a ton of research on that one. I switched to acetaminophen (Tylenol) when we started TTC. Unfortunately it doesn't work nearly as well for me.
@dubcompanion, my understanding is that ibuprofen is not recommended in pregnancy, but I'm not sure why. Apparently, the pineapple thing works because (according to what I read) it contains a natural blood thinner and so shouldn't be combined with other blood thinners. That said, I certainly am no expert on healthy pregnancies!

@MissPrint1219 Is ibuprofen also supposed to be avoided? It'd be nice to take it during PMS week since I get cramping, but I'm never sure if it really is PMS or a looming BFP. Rawr. Okay, off I go play.
YESSSS!
