@PSUBecky23- I forgot to ask last week if she had a guess on position. Darn! I did schedule a 32 week ultrasound to check on the lake in my placenta, so we'll get a glimpse then!
I will be doing spinning babies religiously (with all my free time) and looking into seeing a chiropractor. I'm too much of a control freak to take comfort in there being plenty of time. (Which I know is true and babies flip back and forth all the time.)
@KimmySchmidt I constantly second guess myself on whether I made the right choice to call/not call the pediatrician. Like you, I don't want to be that mom that overreacts to everything, but I also don't want to let something go that I shouldnt have.
FWIW, it sounds like you made the right call. Mouths bleed so, so badly and with the saliva mixed in, it just seems that much worse. My daughter fell at the park over the weekend and bled from her mouth (never located the source). We had blood on the playground, her clothes, and us. It stopped quickly, so there were no worries, but it was definitely alarming how much she bled at first.
@kimmyschmidt does your pedi have a nurse line? A call wouldn't hurt so they can tell you what signs to look out for and/or reassure you that everything is OK.
@Megan324 - I've been hooked on it for years, it's such garbage!!! Did it start up again? I watched The Fosters last night (and cried! What is wrong with me?!)
@AnnaS930 The summer premiere is tonight! I have the marathon running in the background today I've been watching it since the very first episode so I can't stop, I even have my younger brother hooked

Aaah, I'm sure my DVR will grab it then. I don't fully pay attention to the episodes (and really, not much ever happens) but it's a good show to have on in the background on nights that my husband works late. I have heard that this will either end it, or answer 99% of questions... but really, haven't we been told this before?
I also seriously love Toby and probably watch mostly for him. He creeped me out at first, and now I love him.
Also - when my husband and I went to Punta Cana a couple years ago, I downloaded like 6 PLL books onto my nook and read them on the beach all week. SO terrible, but great easy beach reading!
@AnnaS930 They alwayssss say that we are getting all the answers but we never do! Hopefully it ends well because I was reallllly disappointed at the CiCi is A reveal.
@PSUBecky23 I saw a chiropractor when DD was breech, but was at 37w. I was actually more uncomfortable / achey after the adjustment, but hopefully at your stage it will help. You might want to get recs from mom clubs or your mw, I wish I had. I didn't find out who the local "baby flipping" chiro was until pp. It's hard not to obsess (I did), hope that baby flips for you soon!
Happy random for me today. Getting my oil changed and the dealership has free Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the customer lounge! I already planned to get an Aunt Anne's pretzel while exchanging a pair of mis-sized maternity shorts at the mall, so double treat for me today!
I passed my 3 hour glucose test (1 reading was right at cutoff, all others fine). We have zero plans for dinner, so having leftovers then walking to the gas station/market down the street that just opened an ice cream stand - they serve Giffords, which is super good ice cream from Maine... and it's only 1/2 mile walk from my house! YAY
Yay for whole company pizza party today! I totally forgot and almost left to get pick up something early good thing I didn't. There are so many left overs, I'm already planning on getting more at 3:30 when my afternoon hunger starts....
One of our cats is missing. Of all of them, he would be the one that I would never have expected to run out the door or disappear (he's afraid of everything, including the outdoors).
We've had people in the house hauling away old furniture (Saturday) and installing flooring (yesterday and today) and we just noticed he was gone yesterday afternoon, but he may have been gone since Saturday. We just didn't notice because he hides so much.
We've searched the entire house and gone around the neighborhood calling him and there's no sign of him. I keep having horrible visions of him having climbed into a piece of furniture that got hauled away and then dying in the heat of the closed up truck or being trapped somewhere else. Or just being alone and terrified.
He has a microchip, but I'm not sure if it's registered to us or the place we got him from. No collar (he's strictly an indoor cat and had never worn one, just like our other cats, because he hates it) and he's kind of pathetic looking, so people might think he's a stray anyway. I just don't have a good feeling about him coming home even if he is alive and safe or is found.
I'm falling apart over here. And one of our other cats is in hysterics because he's gone (they were best friends) and keeps crying and looking for him. This is terrible.
@LakeR2014 hope your baby stops being stubborn too!
@mojiejo so sorry about your cat! Have you put up signs in the neighborhood? Also, if you're on FB, there are usually local lost pet groups or local shelters have pages that you can post to. Any tight spots in your house he could've wedged himself into? Behind the water heater or furnace?
@MojieJo - Agreed with PSU, I see lost cat postings on FB a lot with quite a few good endings. Put in calls to the local shelters, don't give up! I had a cat who went missing for a week or more, and I found him in the woods behind my house, he was a bit beat up and was keeping to himself but with a couple stitches he was right back to his normal, wild self! Cats are funny creatures, and tend to stay away when a bit scared or hurt. Maybe kitty #2's hysterics will call this one back home if he did get out, or if he is somehow hiding in the house!
@mojiejo - Oh no! Hoping he comes home soon! Our Loki decided to explore the outdoors last year on July 3rd and I flipped because I knew he'd be flipping at the fireworks if he didn't get home asap. Sure enough, when we got home from fireworks on July 4th, we opened the door to let our dogs out and Loki ran inside. There's hope!!
We put his litterbox outside on the porch when he ran away. I read that that can help them locate home if they get lost. Thinking of you guys and hoping for his safe return asap!!
@kimmyschmidt does your pedi have a nurse line? A call wouldn't hurt so they can tell you what signs to look out for and/or reassure you that everything is OK.
Yes, but they ALWAYS say to take the child to the ER. Like, without fail. They're useless.

Well that's obnoxious and completely defeats the purpose of having a nurse line.
@psubecky23 No signs yet. We're sending the only pictures we have of him (he's a doofus and sticks his nose on the camera lens every time we try to take his picture, so we don't have more than a few and they're not good) to the company that was moving furniture out of our house. Signs in the neighborhood will be the next step.
Right now there's books and crannies in all sorts of places because we're moving boxes and small furniture all over, but we haven't found him by looking in any of them.
@annas930 I was really hoping that Mojo freaking out would call him out if he was in the house, but no such luck so far. She's not allowed outside, so I can't take her out to look for him (she likes to make mad dashes out the door to explore, so we keep her inside and away from doors),
Our front porch is just a stoop, no way to get under it. We have a deck, but after our outside cat got stuck under it last winter and almost died before we found her (the sides are enclosed but there was a small hole she crawled in and got snowed in), we made sure there's no way to get under it anymore.
@unwritten12 We only have one litter box for four cats, so we can't put it outside, but maybe we can get another one for inside and out that one outside.
I'm trying to balance myself between hoping he comes home and accepting that he's gone. My anxiety and depression don't do well with me getting my hopes up, only to have them crushed. It's the not knowing what happened/when he disappeared that's hurting me the most. I'd be crushed if I knew he was dead, but at least if have closure. I hope that makes sense.

I really think it's a liability thing. People are so litigious, so they always just recommend whatever is going to cover their ass.

@MojieJo- I can 100% relate to letting yourself down for the worst outcome, and also kinda hoping to be pleasantly surprised. I really hope mr. kitty finds his way home
@PoodleDoodleOoo- I have a boy who has looked almost identical to my husband since day 1. It actually gets a little annoying to hear people say it. Yes, he looks just like his dad. I've even had people say "Are you sure he's yours?" Yes.. me and my vagina that he came bursting out of are 100% sure. I feel like he's got more of my facial expressions/personality and looks less like dad and more like himself as he comes into being a toddler.

Okay, took the time to look it up. Dr. Google says mouth cut infections are rare and the cut should heal in 3-4 days.
