I had a dream last night that someone else got a BFP in here....I actually came back to see if it was just my memory being weird...who's it gonna be???!!!
I am officially, certifiably crazy, and so is DH. 8dpo and chart is starting to look triphasic. Ute still feels pinchy. I break down at work today (hospital) in a sobbing mess (which I normally don't do) and I'm on the phone with DH who says, "Maybe you ARE pregnant!" Ah dude, don't feed my crazy!
It's likely PMS. Or not? Let's play a game: What would you do?
I have 1 FRER and 3 88 cent Walmart cheapies (I've never got wondfos before, yes I'm an idiot) Do I test tomorrow at 9 dpo or wait? And if so, do I waste a cheapie, knowing it's less sensitive than the FRER and probably will result in BFN, but also save the FRER for a more suitable test day?
Yes, I'm the same girl who said a day or so back that I was definitely waiting until 12-14 dpo. Who was I kidding?
Can I just say how much I love that we have a corner to act full on crazy without judgement!!!
i would save the FRER for day 10. They tend to be pretty accurate by then with this disclaimer:
DO NOT use a curved handle. Their new evap lines are so bad I had one look positive before I even ovulated. I got some and wanted to test as a trial and a base since I have heard bad things. It was as noticeable as my first actual BFP.
By day 10 it should give a decent line not evap looking one. Using cheapies helps get the crazy under control
i am dizzy, nauseous and exhausted. All totes KU at dpo7 not at all too early for signs
Ugh @SnobunnieMelall I can find is curved handles, which is what I have. I did know about the issue, but I bought a two pack to use to test when first AF didn't show for weeks on end. I didn't have an evap line with the last BFN, so FX I don't get any on the next one I use. I'm going to hurry up and pee in the morning in the bathroom without the tests so I won't be tempted. Only two more days!! Thanks for the reality check!
And yes, all the pregnancy symptoms seem to come when they are physically impossible to experience! If this is PMS, I'm in for one b**** of an AF.
@Wishilivedinflorida I would hold off on the FRER until 10dpo as well. DH is the reason I tested early, he feeds my BSC too much sometimes.

@roxgibbons Yeah....I was overwhelmed with everything so I decided to stop. I miss how much information it gave, specifically that I would know wether or not to expect AF. And I hadn't even been temping for very many cycles. I've decided to get back into it next cycle.
Curved handles are the devil. I had a false + on one so convincing I went in for a blood test and my hcg was less than zero. I was LIVID. I sent First response an email and chewed whoever the poor soul who had to read it a new asshole.
It was so convincing my BFF who is LEGALLY BLIND and went to BLIND CAMP could see it.
Anyway, First response refunded my money
And I'm with Chloe, I just take one HPT a day pretty much. I'm not even sure if I've ovulated yet and I have one calling to me right now.
@BrightenMySky - I'm with you - I feel if I can get through tomorrow without AF I'll be in the clear. 13-14DPO tomorrow...
@snobunniemel - I completely agree - I love having a place that is safe to share the BSC - because DH isn't there yet. He wants kids but still blissfully thinks it will happen any month now - and I want him to stay in that spot as long as possible because at least one of us deserves to.

@fivetimesnoluck not really. My IUI was 2 Wednesdays ago. With one of my past unsuccessful IUIs I made it to morning of 14 dpiui, the other two AF showed earlier. I also only had one day between trigger and IUI this cycle, where as usually it's 36 hrs, so that could make later a little more likely as well. Uggggghhh.
ETA not planning to test before beta on Friday. I cannot handle getting a negative home test, don't think.

I would definitely recommend to temp throughout this process. Temp, CM and cervix position give you so much useful information. Maybe it is helpful for TWW craziness.
As for crying as a pregnancy symptom, I second that. Happened to me and it was so unusual.

OMG I never thought I'd see two lines on a HPT again! I tested last night around 6 because I "had a feeling". There was a faint line. FMU showed a very clear second line. I'm in shock!
congrats coon!!! Hoping that this will be good luck for all of us! Today is the REAL Wednesday, still no af, still a bfn on a wondfo. If no af by Fri I will pick up a first response. It is possible that my cycle is just messed up from the d&e, right? I had 2 afs since then... ugh!

@KarenBeth714 my cycle is also weird this month. I'm around 14 dpo and bfn yesterday but still no af. I guess af is just later than normal for me this month. I should be starting anytime now. I used to have 26-27 day cycles before my d&c and I've had 3 (soon to be 4) since then and they have been about 28-30 days. I don't know if it's related to my d&c or not.
12-13 DPO and BFN. Pretty much just waiting for AF for sure. I was in a sulky mood yesterday, and DH asked if I have looked more into seeing a therapist. I snapped at him that I am grieving, not depressed - June 23 is my EDD and it keeps looming before me - so naturally I'm going to be bummed for the next couple weeks. I dunno. Maybe he has a point.
I'm so psyched we've already had a couple BFP's on our board these past couple weeks! I'm anxiously awaiting to see more! We need to get building our grad board so we can all eventually be warmly welcomed by fantastic TTCAL alumni!!

My chart is not helping the crazy. The overlay is matching up with my first BFP but one day ahead. Same dips and peaks. Add the rediculous amount of symptoms and if I don't get it this month it will be the most convincing TWW ever to fail.
@dubcompanion sorry about the bfn. I'm right there with ya. My DH and I have had the same conversations. He has asked it I needed to seek professional help and I told him that I've just grieving and that there's nothing anyone can do to help me. They can't make my grief go away. I'm still functioning and moving on with my life...with just a bit of sadness. Getting ready to start af makes me even more emotional and I always get really down at the end of af every time.
@dubcompanion sorry and hugs. I think it sounds totally normal to be grieving, and your EDD approaching may be a trigger as well. Mine is in August and I am not looking forward to it. I will say that their are counselors who specialize in loss and grief--therapy isn't just for depression. I have been seeing someone for these reasons (as well as IF stuff), and she has been really helpful in getting me to feel comfortable grieving however I need to and validating how I'm feeling.

@KarenBeth714 and @MooFish2364 Looks like the 3 of us are in the same weird cycle boat this month. AF still hasn't started for me either. I think I'll hold off until Friday to retest (I say that but it's quite likely I'll test tomorrow lol!)
@dubcompanion It is very normal to be grieving (like all of us don't know that already). Grief is so different for everybody and we all deal in different ways but I second what @BrightenMySky said, therapy isn't just for depression, and if you do feel like you're having a particularly hard time dealing with grief, therapy may be something to consider. That being said, grief alone doesn't necessarily warrant a therapist visit. Whatever you choose, I hope that you give yourself some extra love and patience in the coming days&weeks. Thinking of you.
I am here again but not expecting anything. I have been sick for a week. My chart didn't even go high enough for the fever I spiked Friday. Today I got my positive on my OPK. DH is a trooper though- he dutifully BD'ed with me through my hacking cough and insane congestion these last 5 days.
