We finally got around to going through our baby gear from DD. It's definitely relieving some stress knowing that everything is still in good condition. Now to tackle cleaning it all!
And here we go! There's still a few things that we will probably add to the walls, like some gutter shelving for her books and such. I think we're going to put in a ceiling fan too. However, considering this whole project was completed in less than 48 hours I'm pretty excited! This is definitely the most put together room in my house.
Here's what that dresser looked like yesterday - painting all of the deep crevices in those drawers was beyond tedious.. but it was a freebie, so I can't complain too much!
@cmjenkies you were quick!!! Amazing job on the room and on the dresser.
Thanks!!! It was definitely an "I have GOT to get this done, now!" moment. Everything baby was piling up in our entry room and giving me anxiety. I painted everything by myself but got some help with crib building, curtain rod hanging, and hauling off all the donation stuff from my in-laws and BIL. They're the best!
Aren't they cute? Somebody ordered them online and then returned them to Target in store so I got them on super clearance! I love how they turned out, I wasn't sure about the color but once they went up I was like yeeeeeep.
Which one of you ladies is coming to decorate my nursery? So jealous of all the creativity and how everything is looking!! Our baby should get some flooring in this week (thanks, husband) - and then furniture will be delivered in a week or two. The question is - do I unpack myself first or set up baby's room? (silly question, we know baby's room will be completed first)
Still a lot to do (wall decor, crib sheets and changing pad cover, changing table organization, painting and cutesify-ing an ugly old book/toy shelf that isn't visible in these pictures, adding an ottoman and diaper receptacle of some kind) but it's a start!
I want to play but in-laws said they'd get us the crib in time for the babyshower so I'll have to wait a little more for decor. Meanwhile I did order this guy on Etsy. Can't wait to put this guy up!
@cmjenkies I love the curtains! So pretty! Where did you find these??
Target clearance! Somebody bought them online and returned them to our store so I just got lucky to stumble upon them one day. I just looked them up on their website and it looks like they come in ivory and white.
I am in love with your robots theme! It's so stinkin cute!
Thanks! I love it too! I have these prints I got from Etsy to frame and hang also, in addition to a painting that my husband's BFF is making for the room. Ah, and a felt Star Wars mobile that's being made also. Can't wait til it's complete!
Not a great pic but here's his little mini crib. It is set up in our room downstairs because that's where he'll be the first few months. I'm working on some cool little projects to basically make him his own little nook. ... our 4 big boys occupy the 4 bedrooms upstairs even though the oldest sleeps in the room with the twins I'll do a more formal room/nursery late this summer when elijah moves upstairs

I was finally able to get to do our nursery this weekend. The paint color has been in here for the past 5 years and has been used by my boys and my girls. The decals and book "gutters" were already in there. I just had to repaint and clear out all the junk. Now that this room is done, it's feeling that much more real that baby #5 is coming in just about 7 weeks!!

I'm usually not a fan of green, but that color makes it very open and spacious feeling!
My nursery is almost finished! We just need curtains and maybe some more wall art ... and to move that spin bike out of there hah! It's been so fun to see it come together.
We are team green so I went with a gray/orange fox theme.

DS has that same stuffed fox. It's so soft...
I have bought and made so many fox related things for LO he might spend the first year of his life believing he is a fox >.> So on that note... Where do you get it?
So we've got all of the hard stuff done, but I still am trying to get everything decorated! And we don't have any light in there yet, because I'm still looking for fixtures...so the colors are a little jacked in these pictures...
Found these guys at a HUGE furniture store about 1.5 hours from me, but they were so expensive. Hello, Amazon and Wayfair!!
Don't feel bad, I don't either. Actually, not only do I not have the nursery set up, there are walls torn out of the room at the moment It will get done.

Progress! All we need is a chair and some decorative touches
