@oceanchild I too wish I could go shopping in my pjs. Occasionally I do go to the store in my sweats, when I really can't be bothered. But I usually try to leave the house in jeans.
As for ds he did eat some yogurt yesterday afternoon, but he has had nothing since. I am trying to be patient and not push to hard because I don't want him to get stubborn about it, but it is so hard. His appetite does seem to come in waves. He wants nothing and then all of the sudden has 3 gogurts. Then back to nothing. He has a weigh in at the office today so we will see what thet say.
Okay question for the group. So I raked leaves yesterday, I wasn't too tired from it I was only out there for maybe 30 minutes. We raked a few piles and bagged them. I've had multiple people tell me that I shouldn't be raking leaves while pregnant. To me this isn't that strenuous an activity. So was it bad for me to rake leaves?? Should I be taking it more easy? I just feel like a lazy bum and thought the least I could do was rake some leaves for a little exercise. I just feel like society views pregnant ladies at these fragile creatures.
Thoughts?

@bntfroggie Raking leaves is not too strenuous for a healthy pregnant woman. Last week I was pulling sweet potatoes out of the ground and that was back-breaking work. That said, I love being lazy right now...LOL, I'm so guilty of milking this pregnancy!
As long as you're feeling ok and feel like you can do it, then no problem. Exercise definitely is not a bad thing. If you started having contractions while raking, then I'd say too much, but you're only in 2nd tri, not like it's 37 weeks. Your body will tell you what not to do

I agree, I don't think raking leaves is strenuous if you feel ok. My doc just said that I can do my normal activities. I got a similar speech from DH and my mom. Went to a friends 1/2 marathon yesterday as a spectator (I walked maybe a total of 1/2 mile intervals and sat on a lawn chair... Came home tired, not from walking but because I needed to be up at 5am, and took a nap. Went to my parents for dinner later that evening and DH was telling everyone how I don't take it easy and how I had to nap because I was running around a downtown suburb watching a race. I find myself constantly reminding people that I'm not handicap, I'm just pregnant.
@soxfan9968 yes! Dh just was babying me after we went grocery shopping on Friday. We bought a double thing of apple juice and I went to pick it up from the car and he got all weird about me carrying it. Um dude, I am pregnant not disabled. It's sweet for like a second then it's annoying.
@bntfroggie I'm no expert but I think you're fine. My mom always has to remind DH that I'm pregnant and not broken because he tells me not to do things like that too. It's good for us to do some things!
I'm just going to leave this here in case someone needs it for one of "those" people on here.
It is sweet, at first but now that I've "popped" it's driving me nuts. Now I'm just annoyed that everyone and their mother has an opinion about any movement I make.
I have been listening to the Skyfall soundtrack at work and it is really making me feel productive - I can't believe it's almost 11 here already! How is everyone's Monday morning going?
Seriously I promise you your body will let you know if it's too much. If I couldn't lift anything, my poor DS2 who is 25lbs would never be picked up and snuggled. Mmmmmm not ok in my book - OR his

@skruhmin Legos have taken over my life and they are one of my favorite things to do with my son. I can't "action figure" well...I never know what to make the guys say! But Legos are awesome. We build creatively and it's SUPER fun!

Monday is plbbbbt!!! DH is off for the day and he's driving me nuts "organizing" the garage and our shed. I'm trying to wash dishes and he keeps making a fuss about paint brushes in the garage!! Ugh... Can he go back to school yet?

I'd say that I have a solid 3-4 people that I kind of roll my eyes at when I see their username as well. Alas, that is life and the joys of public forums I suppose.
I think I mainly get annoyed with the new ladies who just jump in with both feet and don't read around for a bit or start slow. Like, I'll open my app and EVERY BLOODY response or post is from the same person. Sigh.
So I'm feeling like a majorly horrible person for thinking one of the serious threads posted yesterday on our board is MUD. I hope for the sake of health that it is because that would be awful and scary to go through but something about it just doesn't smell right.

Errr... I think I saw something I wasn't supposed to. It's been a long time since I logged into Pinterest but since DH is driving me nuts I sat my butt down on the couch (while he continues to reorganize the whole house) and logged on. My sis and friend have a shared board with cabbage patch baby shower theme stuff... ^#(^ I don't think im supposed to be able to see it... I'm feeling guilty now but I had to peek... ">

I stopped by my dads house to pick something up. Well he wasn't home but there was a baby car seat/carrier and baby blanket in his living room that I'm not sure if I was supposed to see. So I'm just going to play dumb, lol.

I know what you're talking about because I kind of thought the same thing and I also felt horrible about it. I just....I don't know if I'd share that type of information with anyone but DH. People handle things differently and I honestly hope for her sake it's MUD
And another one. Baby shower seating chart. Mmmmmm k??
So that was assumedly the DH/Spouse posting, right? I feel like they'd be better off tweeting Mindy Weiss instead of us lowly ladies here lol. To be a fly on the wall at that shower.

Man, I wish I could rake some leaves. But I have no rake and no leaves, and no permission to leave my couch. Unless it's to feed myself, pee, or anything else that requires less than 5 minutes of standing, the nurse in the ER told me once I got home I should follow bed rest rules until I see my doctor tomorrow. My back hurts from sitting and I'm so bored. Food network can only entertain for so long...
I haven't been on since last thursday (we were at the deer lease all weekend and there is almost no service there). No way I can read all 250 new posts. Anything good posted this weekend I need to catch up on?
@ecwk I'm okay! Hanging in there, and trying not to work myself into a worry-fest. I'm full of nesting energy and can't leave my couch, and I'm honestly terrified that I'll go in tomorrow and be told that bed rest is gonna be my life for the next 4 months. No more spotting though! I'm taking it easy and hoping my OB has good news in the morning. He'll be running stress tests, the glucose screening, and possibly doing an interior ultrasound to get a better look at my cervix. So fun.
I wish I could rake leaves too- but the stupid place we live in...some idiot stole our rake right out from our BACK YARD!! Oh well, the leaves will be there come spring then.

@2goofykids Good luck tomorrow, sweetie! I've been checking out random tv shows from my local library...maybe you can get someone to pick up a few DVDs for you so that you can watch those when the boring HGTV shows come on.

@2goofykids do you have netflix? Call the MIdwife, Arrow, Prison Break, How I Met Your Mother are among a bunch of great binge shows. Hang in there. I know the random weird bleeds can be super stressful. DS2 was a random bleed/ctx pregnancy and he was overdue.

OBVIOUSLY I was way off - almost done with the first season and love it though!
