The goal early on is for your hcg to double every 48-72 hours. I know you can't tell until the ultrasound, but my thought is it is two with these numbers!

Nailed it Tì, my beta is tomorrow, but... I'm already starting to plan ahead for next steps. I haven't taken a HPT, but I just can't bear to see a negative. DH is also taking the call tomorrow. I'm just so, so upset. I've gotten really great at being on the wrong side of the statistics, but it hurts every.single.time.
That being said, been lurking for the past couple days and am really excited for so many of you, @mclorn, I'm betting on two, congratulations!! @ShayLatrice,@LCK0830, @joyzie77 great numbers to celebrate and hang in there with the PIO!! That's exactly it, @jav5y2 . We've all gotten so used to bad news it's difficult to imagine finally succeeding. I thought I'd get pregnant after 4 months. That clearly didn't happen. I thought all my tests would come back normal. Nope. I never thought I'd do IVF. That happened too. Now it's like, what's going to happen this time to stand in my way?
I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and sending all the positive vibes I have your way! I hope you get your much deserved BFP!
@LCK0830 exactly! It's hard to envision success when we've never seen it in real life but it can happen thanks to the high odds of IVF. @jav5y2 let us know how it goes, we are all rooting for you! As for my in-laws, DH was upset they weren't as happy, but I told him they have 8mths to adjust to their new roles in life and I'm sure they will come around. They were just as sour grapes when we got a dog and now my MIL makes homemade doggy biscuits with Dear Dog's name in them. They'll get there but everyone has their own path I think!

@HBamama2B Yup, even the best in laws can be a bummer sometimes. I'm sure they'll more than make up for their lack of excitement when they get their little grandchild in 9 months!
Had my embryo transfer today- 2 fantastic little blasts were transfered and at least 2 more good ones left to freeze! The other three are still holding in there, but it's sounding like if they don't speed up soon, they probably won't be able to make the freeze. All in all, I'm feeling pretty good about how everything has gone so far. My RE actually seemed a bit surprised at how many good embryos we got. The only decision I was questioning last week was whether or not it was worth spending the money and going through the effort of the surgical sperm retrieval since it didn't give us any additional sample to freeze for future cycles. After reading blogs of other CF couples, it sounds like we probably never would have had the fertilization rates if we had gone the cheap and easy route. So time to relax and not stress out and wait for my better in 9 days!

Ugh! Mine only got itchy yesterday! I woke up at 5am to pee and scratch my fire-ant-ridden behind. I thought maybe it was just the van by the river method we tried last night and would go away quickly. #ivfisglamorous
Once you get used to the PIO your butt refuses to heal, starts hurting again and you get quarter sized welts...it never gets better=( So glad I only have 2 weeks of it left!

@LCK0830 I am 6wk+6 and I have cramps when I am not drinking enough water. I already drink about a gallon a day but my beans want sooo much more!!! I am scared I will float away lol. I didn't temp either but I know I am running hotter in the morning when I first wake up. I was told that our ovaries do not go back to normal size right after(cramping)... Mine are still the size of tomatoes but the hormones they are pushing are helping beans!!
HBamama2B ummm to funny on the PIO date night!!! We had dinner at my parents last night and had to bring PIO with us. Thanks @HBamama2B! After talking to my nurse yesterday, I looked at what I wrote down and got really overwhelmed. Once stims start I have to go in every other day. I took a nice long walk by myself last night, which helped calm my nerves. Good luck today! I can't wait to hear an update. Sticky, positive thoughts!
I FINALLY have an update! Today they are Day 4- Morula Stage and she said they are looking beautiful! She said they were Grade 1 because all the cells are of equal size and there is no fragmentation seen. Now we just wait to see if they make it til Day 5!

@Christiniv I have had some pink and brown mostly when I wipe. It is a hematoma that is healing. Sometimes when the baby attaches, your lining keeps bleeding a little. My RE said they see it often with IVF.
@shaylatrice CONGRATS, SHAY!!!! That's wonderful and such a sigh of relief!!
@Christiniv I have definitely heard of break-through bleeding with BFP. I would tell your nurse but definitely not a deal breaker!!! Happens to lots!
@Rachd110 Long walks have been my saving grace during this whole process! I would go bonkers going through this is January! It really is a day at a time... you got this!! And be prepared for possible visits EVERY day... I was not ready for that and I ended up going in like 9 days in a row, including weekends! Probably over kill but just know that is a possibility!
@lizg19 I am so sorry you got disappointing news yesterday. It is SO hard. My IVF in July resulted in BFN too and now my first FET is BFP, so I hope you get the same results. It is honestly so much easier on your body and the doctor can focus on your lining, etc, and not producing eggs. The trend is going towards FETs if possible.... Sending hugs your way.... so glad you have some snowflakes waiting for you. xoxoxo.
