I say call, especially if it's making you anxious. No reason to endure unnecessary stress. The nurses are there to help, so don't feel bad for calling and asking questions. These RE folks are well compensated for their time. Am I right, ladies??

I agree with Ti - I say call too. The embryologists are checking on them so I don't know why they couldn't give you an update. You could ask their cell number and grading (my clinic does day 3 grading but I'm not sure if that's standard).
I say call. That's their job. if they can't tell you anything they will let you know. It might help you relax a little and who know, maybe you will get some info on your little embryos. I was able to call the nurse and ask after a few days. Hope you get some info today!
@Christiniv morning lady! Don't worry about your lack of symptoms, I know how hard it is not to have any strong indication. I'm now 12dp5dt and I don't 'feel' pregnant at all. Maybe you have a quiet, peaceful little sticky bean and handle the PIO really well. Tough lady! I hope your beta day gives you a BFP and nice high numbers. [-O<
@HBamama2B thanks for your supporting words! This cycle i am mot in the US and i dont use pio (yeah!) . I hope that they still are in there feeling at home and stay there! Having no symptoms is so hard it just feels so normal as if nothing happens. I have nothing not one cramp or amything... After transfer i felt like i did crunhes every day and my ovaries were a little active. But thats over since friday. 7dp5dt today!!!
@HBMama2B ... It was very relaxing. I even got a ghost and a spider when painted on my big toes for fun. you should go and get your relax on for sure! 3 days out from the transfer. I feel no differently as j know I most likely won't yet but I just can't stop thinking about it! It's worst thus 2ww than last time for some reason. I'm off again todY so I'm going to need to do a motif reading and distracting myself. I wish I could do something about the injection soreness. It's really making me a grumpy mess. Do you feel any symptoms at all??? I'm so excited for you!!!
I feel very few symptoms, if any, all of which could be related to PIO rather than the little bean. I actually said to DH what if they made a mistake and called the wrong person. He just gave me 'the look'. Lol. I definitely had zero anything 3 days out and no signs of implantation, but the little one stuck. It's hard to feel like you are just the normal you and believe a miracle has occurred. hopefully I'll have more funny stories for you to help the week pass by!
I can't stop obsessing over symptoms even though I know everything could be related to the meds. I've had menstrual type of cramping and a dull ache/fluttering feeling on my right side. I started to feel bloated yesterday and I got so excited bc I remember others saying they felt bloated but then it quickly went away. My stomach was gurgly last night and I even Googled that! My temp is still 98.5. I'm kicking myself for not temping pre-ER. The thing is, I always have cramps and it's likely the PIO is causing a higher tempt than my normal waking BBT. I'm trying not to read into any of this but as you can see I'm failing miserly at that.
Welp... I called and they don't open the little "make-shift uterus thingy" they are being cultured in until after day 4 to give them the best chance at making it through morula phase. So... now we keep waiting. At least today is Monday.

My clinic told me to be prepared for overheating with pio! If it makes you feel any better, I felt pretty much the same during my failed IVF 2ww and this one. It can be a good distraction to analyze symptoms but honestly I don't think they mean anything! Waiting for blood work.... I hope my number doubles from beta!!! Love to all!!!

I had the same schedule! After ER i was called the day after and had to wait after that until day 5 on which they had to tell me if i can come in for transfer that day or the day after or if all of them didnt make it. But it was fine and they made it. I know its so hard to wait but i am sure they will call you with good news!
I'm hoping that no news means good news... and that is call I can pray for. Especially since I can't do a transfer until after she addresses these fibroids. All my lil babies will be frozen until November. I was not expecting this....

@LCK0830 I totally get it. I was grasping for any definitive symptom. I think the cramping 7-10dp5dt was the most obvious, but I agree with @mclorn that it could all have been PIO. the wait is the worst!
@Joyzie77 lie down on a heatin pad (only on your bum) every night and warm up the oil. That helped ease my soreness. Also it got better after a few days, now it's more localized ouch instead of a distinct pain when I sit.
I have a really strong desire not to move on to PAIF board until all my Sep/Oct ladies have made it through the gauntlet. I want us to roll over en masse like some hard core IVF posse. :ar!
I hope we're all right behind you! Did the RE give you an estimated due date or is it way too early for that? Have you thought about names? So many questions!
My symptoms have all been 2-7dp5dt so it's probably too early for anything to be going on. Blah.
I'm hearing up the oil and using a heating pad. Am I doing something wrong? Hubby is injecting in the upper part of the butt. I guess I just have to suck it up! remain positive! Is Tylenol ok now?
@Joyzie77 my RE approved Tylenol and I def used the first couple days after PIO injects. But yeah, there were several days where I was just really butt hurt.

We've had a girl's name picked out for ages, if it's a boy we will have to think about it. Thank you so much for asking! I'm just praying with everything I have that everything goes well for us over the next 8mths.

I understand the reality of our risks and the much lower than avg live birth rate I face given my age/Dx but I've never been pregnant and I believe that after IF we deserve to enjoy this like any other unknowing perfectly fertile couple. We told DH folks (they knew about the IVF and we thought just maybe they'd be happy about becoming GPs) and the first thing they said was to "be cautious" and "don't get excited" or tell people, because....you know.
It really made me think about it and realize, you know what, no. I'm not going to prevent myself from being overjoyed Bc we could lose the pregnancy. That's life and sometimes it sucks. We have IF, we know all about suck. But we also know about love and ferocity and beating odds, so I say hooray for this H&H week and every one we get after!
Ugh, I hate when people are Debbie Downers in a moment like that. I'm sure their heart is in the right place but you absolutely should be overjoyed and celebrate. You've earned it. You and your DH successfully completed an emotionally, physically, and financially stressful process. Overcoming IF hurdles is something a lot of people won't understand. To finally get good news when you've gotten so much disappointment is very exciting!
I think @jav5y2 and @runmeg91 are almost to their first beta. (@runmeg91 got a BFP on a HPT already tho whoot!!!) correct me if I'm wrong ladies! Apologies if I mixed it up!
I agree with @LCK0830 .. You guys have come a long way. Celebrate the joys! It's such a stressful and emotional process at times. This is an awesome time.. Regardless of what could happen. The reality is... We never know what the future will bring. Remaining positive goes a long way. Yay for your sticky bean!!!
Second beta came in at 2327!! It tripled in 72 hours!!
I already went to Pandora and got grandma and aunt charms for when we announce to our families in a couple weeks! And for my brothers maybe cool shirts? And then frame u/s pics?! I have been dreaming about this for years and now that it's here I don't know what to do . My SIL is coming into town 10/24 weekend so we thought that would be good timing to get the family together! I think we should all embrace any positive news we get- we all have been through so much. We deserve this!
And yes this is the only board I plan on being part of this month! :x
