We really love the name Eliott for our little guy, and are thinking we might go with Eliott Jackson. Our last name ends with two T's so we thought that the two T's on the end looked best with our last name. We also like just one "l" so that he can have the nickname Eli because we like that name too. I haven't seen anyone else mention that name on here so I wanted to get some honest opinions from all of you. Also, since we aren't set on the mn being Jackson yet I would love any other suggestions you might have. Thanks!

Eliott is cute but reminds me of a last name.. Actually I know people with that last name but it is getting more popular as a first name. Jackson is a cute name.. Have you thought of using any family names for the middle name?
We're having a baby girl and I'm really pushing for Violet Madeline. I couldn't decide between either name so I might end up using them together, or picking another middle name and saving Madeline for later. SO isn't agreeing or disagreeing and it is driving me crazy because I just want to settle on a name!
I'm having a boy and I love the name Gabriel (was always my favorite angel) but I am really stuck on a middle name. He had an unlovely conception and I have had an even more miserable pregnancy so I want it to mean something that represents the triumph of his life. Anyone have any ideas?

I thought you were giving the baby up for adoption, why would you focus on a name?
I've been given the honor of naming him. I know the couple I'm giving him to and they've told me that I can name him, which was really nice of them.
EDIT: I really think that as long as they agree with it, I have every right to name him since it is probably the only gift I will ever get to give him. So I will continue to brainstorm names.

That is a very nice thing for them to do for you. I like the name Gabriel

How about Oliver, or Levi. Those names are about life.
We are having a girl this time. Yay! One of each! (We have an almost-3-year-old boy named Cameron Lawrence) We actually found out at 16 weeks, but I never posted it. Lol.
Her name is going to be Sidney Meryl. Meryl is after my Grandpa Merrill, but we are spelling it like Meryl Streep. Not a conventional middle name, but if it was a boy the middle name was going to be Merrill and we love my Grandpa that much. Sidney wasn't our original pick, but eventually we realized that it was the perfect name for our kid. I know names reflect more on the parents than who the kid will be, but we avoided really "girly" names even though some are so sweet. This was completely biased because I never identified with my first name. It always felt too "girly" to me and went by my middle name, Jo. And we don't really like boy's names as girl's names although I do think it is a cool trend. For some reason we have always been drawn to names that could go either way.
I wanted to name her Josephine and call her Jo after myself, but my husband always just laughed at me. Lol. He said I have some weird love of names from the late 1800s to about 1920. I probably do!
For names that go both ways, there is Camille that I like. But I dont know if it sounds weird here

I love that! Thank you so much!
I loved Gabriel too but I am expecting a girl ! Glad to help out, I hope your SO will like it too

Camille goes both ways? I have never heard it used as a boy's name. You learn something new every day. We are happy with our name, though, and so is our family. Not that they get much of a say. But my dad likes it so much that for two months he has been babbling to people about how awesome it is as a name. Lol. It is really cute! He never did that with my son's name probably because he was babbling about how it was a boy...
...he is a farmer that ended up with three daughters. Lol. He was so excited that he was finally getting a boy even though it was a grandson. He is equally excited about a granddaughter, though. He says my sisters can get him another grandson someday and in the meantime Sidney is going to be grandpa's little girl and he will spoil her with tractors.
Yep it is Sidney is cute, so great she will be close to her grandpa !
27 weeks here and team green! Big Brother is named Lucas Scott (goes by Luke).
Girls name we are locked in on- Lucille Clare (nn Lucy) Clare without the i for Irish spelling.
Boys first name we are having a VERY hard time with! Middle name will be McAllister and he will go by Mac more than likely... (My maiden name, but the name line ends with me in a family full of girls so we wanted to carry it on)
Congrats! We are also having a baby girl , her name will be Layia, but I cant think of any thing to flow with that . I'm having so much trouble with the name it seems more hard than picking out everything

I LOVE the name lucy but my so neices name is lacey so we decides its too similar. For a boy name i would go with something short considering the middle name is quite long. My fav boy name is Jude, if you know anything about the beetles you'll get the "lucy and jude" thing haha
Were having a girl and have been throwing namea around for awhile that we really like. One name we briefly talkes about was Rain i got bored with it quite easily but then yesterday i came across the name Raina, i think its beautiful but cant decide if its too weird or not?

Girl #3 here & we've been throwing names around with initials "SM" for my MIL who passed away in March (around time I got pregnant too). As of tonight we decided on Serina Michelle. My husband is Michael & since this is our last, she'll be named for him too. Just trying to figure out spelling of Sarina/Serena/Sarena or Serina!!

I have a friend named Reina, and I think it's pretty. In Spanish, it means Queen, fwiw.

Serena, it's the traditional spelling, and beautiful! Makes me think of the word Serene.

I posted earlier about naming our daughter Honora.. But not sure if we should spell it with the H or an A like Annora?! We think that either spelling will possibly be hard to pronunciate but we really like the look of Honora and luckily both meanings of the name is the same, meaning Honor or woman of Honor.. We could always nickname her Honor but what do you guys think as far as the spelling?! TIA

I like Annora better, I wouldn't think there would be any issues with the pronunciation.

Any ideas for a boys first name?!?!
Some names that would keep it Irish that I consider, Collin or Declan. Or we're sticking with a very Irish name and naming our son Cael
Really struggling with a boy name.. Any opinions on Louis James ( after both grandfathers) Cam Louis
Louis James is really nice, and I love family tributes. I would go with Cameron instead of just Cam, it feels very nickname-y, and Cameron Louis flows better together.
Caneron is not my favorite.. How do you feel about Camden? Too trendy? Do you think Louis sounds too old?? I don't like Louie for a NN but Lou doesn't bother me..it's a name he'll have to grow into.. Opinions? Thx ladies
