I still just can't deal with "Leilaigh"...wth kind of spelling is that? No one will know how in the world to pronounce that, and I can guarantee no one will pronounce it "Leyla".
Team Green here- we're set on Eleanor Concetta for a girl (perhaps nn "Nora"), and were thinking Connor Edward for a boy. However, DH isn't crazy about Connor, so we've been discussing other possibilities. Any thoughts on Nicholas Christopher (nn "Cole")? Middle names are all after close family members.
I love all your names! I think you are my name twin haha! I had picked Eleanor but our little one is a boy, my other half wouldn't agree on Christopher or Connor Which where my top two! We settled on Thomas after my grandad after months of arguing but I still get jelous when I see a Christopher somewhere

Haha thanks! Thomas is a great name as well! It would be on our list, but DH's cousin just had a Thomas last year It's been so hard trying to find a boy name I love as much as Eleanor!

DH and I agreed not to share our name until baby is born. With less than 2 weeks till my EDD, I've gotta tell someone. Our son is going to be Ezekiel John, nn is Zeke.
We were going with Miles Richard, but now we are thinking Samuel Richard. My husband's step brother named their dog Miles (without knowing we picked it). We still like the name, but the dog thing bugs me. We don't live in the same area as step brother (maybe see him twice a year).

Oh Inwould still go with Miles for sure! More original than Sam and if it's a dog you will only see a few times a year I wouldn't give it a second thought:)
We finally narrowed the list down to three: Elodie, Etta or Gretchen, I'm excited to have gotten that far! I think we settled on a Hebrew name too (I'm Jewish and its tradition in my family to have two names) either Simcha, which means happiness, or Tzufit, which means hummingbird.
Now to pick an English middle name. My husband's grandmothers were named Cecil and Cecelia, so I'm thinking something along those lines to honor them.

Love Zeke! my best friend's son is Ezekiel and I think it's one of those names that is so cute for a little kid, but will also grow with them
Hubby and I still need a middle name if we have a girl (not finding out). Her first name would be Amelia. But we really wanted something meaningful for a middle name. He wants the middle name to be someone from his family but -I'm not exaggerating-- every one of his family members' names are the middle names or first names of his sisters already. He has 11 sisters and for some reason, reusing a middle name bothers me because I really wanted us to be original. BUT the husband doesn't want a name just because it's "pretty". So I'm looking for suggestions that have a good meaning, preferably something with Christianity?
My only thoughts so far have been:
Amelia Ever
Amelia Trinity
Anyone else have an idea?? Seriously, throw anything out there!!
I was going with Ryker John for the longest time but kept going back and forth on wether or not I liked it. A week before I had my little guy we changed it to JJ (James John). My husbands family loves it, the middle name is after an uncle who recently lost his battle with cancer.
Due any day now and just recently settled on a name, Ruby Elizabeth (Elizabeth is his mothers name). A couple other names I thought were pretty were Ava Jean and Ivy June, but after thinking for a while they slightly sound like porn names but I still think they are pretty names and anyone can use them if they want, no judgement.

All realt pretty. I like Ivy the best only because Ruby and Ava are super popular.
Team Green and might just end up with a December baby at this point. Top names at this point are Redding Elias and Harper Amelia. We also like Josie and Landry(boy or girl).

It's been such a stressor since my partner and I don't like similar names but we finally agreed on this.
Camden Louis( NN Cam)
Louis James (NN LJ or Lou) after two great grandfathers. Thx!!!
Camden is a really lousy city in NJ, synonymous with gang violence
I agree with @dramaphile. I immediately thought of cheese. I suppose there are worse connotations, but I'd go with Alexis

It's cute, but I love Alexis! It was one of my top three if I was having a girl
