I love looking through the Pregnant Husband blog... this one reminds me of the thread where one gal's DH was trying to tell her what she could and couldn't eat.

If my MIL says one more stupid thing to me I may say some choice words to her. She just doesn't have any type of filter! Dh is fed up too, so at least I know it isn't just me.
Faith in humanity restored! Dh and I are traveling to a wedding and so far it has been a disaster. We took a detour that cost us an hour of driving and then just after we had crossed the border into Canada (45 minutes to our destination) I discover I left my wallet at the Tim hortons we stopped at over an hour before. So we turn around drive back across the border and thank goodness my wallet was there and the money I had taken out for the trip was still in there! I Am a wreck and poor dh is trying so hard to be understanding because I just added an additional 2 hours to our 5 hour trip. He deserves all the credit in the world right now. Especially since we now have to drive over the border for the third time and then another hour to my brothers house. Just so thankful for honest people this pregnant lady could not have handled it if the wallet or money was gone.
Why am I awake? It's Saturday, I'm off, and everyone is asleep.... But me? By 10 am I will be exhausted again and ready for a nap, but noooooo. There will be soccer games to drive the kids to, laundry to do, dishes to wash.. Why am I awake?
Last night, I dreamed that it was time for my anatomy scan and that I was actually having quadruplets O.O One of the babies was all tangled in my intestines and kicking and punching like crazy. Thank you, crazy, rumbly gas for that nightmare.
Me too unfortunately i never got to meet my In laws before they passed but I'm sure they wouldn't have been too bad. Dh does have an aunt that's pretty crazy.
I was going to write this on FFC, but it went all animal sad and my comment didn't fit in...so I shall rant here:
I am all for having opinions. If you don't want to pierce your child's ears, don't. If you don't want to circumcise or you do, that's your choice. What makes me stabby is when people have 'opinions' on hot button topics and they haven't done any research and really don't actually know anything about the topic. Need I bring up the whole vaccinations and autism thing?!
If you're going to have an opinion about something that is obviously controversial, you better have LEGIT reasons and you most definitely better have done research on BOTH sides of the story.
So I made it thru my dental cleaning yesterday without gagging overly much - yay me! Was supposed to walk in a 5k today and I cannot get off the couch without being dizzy. Bummed about that. Good IRL friend who lives up the road from me just told me she's pregnant - super yay! She's due a week and a half after me BUT her first two babies were several days "early" and mine have a tendency to be about a week "late" - and we are using the same doula. MEGASTRESS!

@oceanchild That's so fun to have someone around the same time as you! One of our friends was pregnant the same time I was with our LO, and she was a week ahead of me, but we ended up having our babies a day apart. Now we find out we're both pregnant again, and a week apart again (she's a week ahead).
Hopefully no doula situation will arise for you guys!
Whew! Finally reached the end. I've been MIA for a week and came back to 400+ new comments here.
Circumcision: to each their own. I've done my research and H and I have come to a decision. This is one debate/argument that I steer clear of because it gets too ragey. I love a good debate, but this one can get out of control fast. Food: cereal. All the cereal. That's all that sounds good and stays down (aside from the occasional random craving). Not a fan of pumpkin everything, but LOVE pumpkin pie. Mostly for the tub of cool whip that I put on top of a single piece.
My life this past week: we're having twins! Found out on Tuesday and still haven't really "accepted" it just yet. We are extremely happy, but also freaked out! I'm flying on the first of there flights in the next two weeks tomorrow. I am dreading it because MS always seems to be the worst at the most inconvenient times!
Omg. Just picking my oldest two kids up from the inlaws after dumping them in their undies to take the baby to the ER to get stitches after he fell and hit his head on a sharp corner. Nausea had kept me from eating dinner, and then hunger started to hit at he hospital, making it worse. And then watching the baby scream as they sewed up his face *right* next to his eyeball, and not being able to comfort him at all - it was so hard! And I'm all hormonal and puky. And so sad for my poor wee bub! Shitty night! (

My father in law made some homemade pickles and I almost ate the whole container. I love pickles!!!! And limes I just eat them with a little salt! yummy! Any other cravings anyone else is having??
So has the unconscious belly rubbing started for anyone? I keep catching myself at random times. I start back to school trainings tomorrow and I'm afraid I'll give it away...
OK hungry hormonal pregnant woman needing to RANT.
Drove all friggin day after a hell of a week with the in-laws craving only one thing: pizza. I'm already starving but I figure I'll hold off on eating anything until it gets here. Finally get into my PJs and I order. I wait an hour. I receive my pizza only to find it absolutely inedible because it is literally SWIMMING in grease. Swimming. I mean pools of grease on this pizza. I'm so irate but so hungry and call up the pizza place to have another one sent as a replacement. No, I have to pay for a whole other pizza AND wait a whole other hour. All rationale gone out the window at this point because I just want.my.damn.pizza. GIMME MY PIZZA!!! Ughhhhhhh.
Yay delivery guy! Our Sunday was good. A little busy with kinder orientation, but my kid's teacher is awesome!! So yay for that! Still worried about the first day. Baby seems his normal self today - thank goodness! He's probably going to have a scar on his sweet little face, but hopefully it will fade since he's so young.

That looks so awful. Poor kiddo! Hope it heals quick, glad he's back to normal already! They're so resilient at that age.

What a sweet boy you have. And so brave!! Poor thing.
I am so sick of politics and religion on facebook. If you're not sharing a funny story or a cute picture of your kid/pet, I don't wanna see it! Argh. #hormonalandmoody
@pinksunglasses16: I worked in an office the summer before I started college and had a mini heater at my feet because the AC was so cold!
@oceanchild: so glad your baby is ok! What a scary ordeal!

Oh, and my 5 year old has now told me 4 times that I look like I have a baby in my belly. I usually brush it off by saying, "I know. I ate a lot today." Lol. But seriously. 3 more weeks until my appointment after which I'll feel like it's safe to tell her! I need to go buy some flowy shirts . . .

Sooooooo maybe this is an FFC but I totally ate 2 hamburgers yesterday for lunch they were that good. I haven't done too much of the extra amount during meals yet but holy crap I had a hollow leg at lunch yesterday. So maybe it is a boy since that was my giant craving for my first two boys
