ME TOO. Especially the work thing. I've been exponentially more productive at work this week by "rewarding" myself with a little time here and there on TB lol. Also, my house is a disaster. I have 3 dogs that all shed and I am embarrassed to say how long it's been since I've swept/vacuumed. Whoops.

I have been craving seafood too. I picked up some salmon to make salmon salad for lunch tomorrow. I would love some lobster or fried shrimp though!

I had busy 12 hour shift today in the ER, topped of by one of my chest pain patients having a STEMI (heart attack) right at change of shift. So after no real lunch break and staying late to get my patient up to cath lab so he didn't die, I was tired and starving. I decided to stop at Chipotle. Well.... They were out of chips, fajitas, and corn salsa; leaving me with no chips and one sad burrito. You suck Chipotle.

When I told my sister I was pregnant she said, "Were you like both mom and me and gained 10 lbs 5 minutes after a positive test?" Sadly, yes. I'm overweight to begin with, so at our first appt when the doc said I should really shoot for only gaining 15 lbs, I was like great I'm already 2/3 of the way there and I'm only 6 weeks! Baby: 7-8 pounds Placenta: 1-2 pounds Amniotic fluid: 2 pounds Uterus: 2 pounds Maternal breast tissue: 2 pounds Maternal blood : 4 pounds Fluids in maternal tissue: 4 pounds That's already 18 lbs! I'd have to lose weight to only gain 15 during pregnancy. I don't want to think about this anymore.

My kids let me sleep til 10 am and I know I shouldn't still be tired but I am and I don't want to adult today ( I know it's bad but school starts Monday and I'm so excited that I'll be able to nap uninterrupted during the day and not have to get anyone food when all I feel like doing is lying down. I need the second trimester to give me more energy. I feel like such a bad mommy sometimes.

First day of kindy was so traumatic for me LOL I took my others to go hang with a friend so I wouldn't sit at home all day and wonder how my kiddo was doing (like I am now) and then when he got home we ended up all busy together. Now I need TB to keep my mind off school. He didn't want me to leave him today and it hurt my heart a bit

I've started all pregnancies overweight and none of my midwives gave me the 10-15....they were not concerned with my weight gain at all - thankfully it ended up only being 26 and 25 each time other wise I might be super depressed.  And yep, I'm one of those who hangs on to it after delivery and I have to have it to be successful with breast feeding.  I wouldn't hold too much stock in it (and you can vent with me any time your doc is giving you a hard time).

I'm babysitting my best friend's girls today - they're almost exactly the same age as my girls and it is the best thing ever.

They have been playing together for two hours while I watch Rehab Addict. I told DH that this is going to have to be our last baby if I keep feeling like this, but maybe I need to reconsider if having 4 kids means they'll play this well together. Haha.

I forgot how much I hate waiting for appointments. I had an *informational* appt at 9:30 (seen at 10:20) which was totally unnecessary, then ultrasound at 11:00 (seen at 11:30) and now still waiting for a doctor to call me back in for results (it's almost noon). I have been coming to this practice since my first kid, so early 2010, and they have absolutely blown up apparently. My husband is having to take time from work to keep the kids, so every minute I wait is money out of our pockets. I'd be totally fine with a thumbs-up-good-to-go but they want to sit down and have the feely goods all over the place.

I'm with you 100%. With my son I never felt this exhausted even right after a ten hour night of sleep. I really hope this changes in the 2nd trimester or I'm going to be losing my marbles by the time my little one comes. ; )
