My sugar cookie Charlotte arrived on 7/13/2015 @5:10pm. Arrived at the hospital Sunday night for a cervidil induction, but I was already 3cm dilated so the doctor decided to skip it and begin with pitocin the next morning at 6am. Pitocin contractions were not bad at all! It was only when she broke my water at 11am that the real pain began. Decided on an epidural at 1pm, slept until 4pm and was fully dilated at 5pm. Pushed through three contractions and Charlotte entered the world weighing 8lbs 7oz and 21 inches long.
Meet Emerson Amelia born 7/17 at 11:13 pm 8 lbs 1 oz and 20.5 inches long. We are so enthralled with her and feel so blessed to have been chosen to be her parents! 23 hours of labor, got an epidural at 5cm which helped me relax. I felt a lot during the end and pushing but man was it worth it!! So excited to officially be apart of the mommy club now, can't imagine life without her
David Anthony born 7/16. 8 pounds 4 ounces. I work up the day before with cramping and with bloody mucus. Labored all day at home until my water broke around 7pm. Went to the hospital and I was only 4cm but was admitted. Got an epidural and took a nap. Woke up at 10 cm dialated. My blood pressure dropped and I was given meds to increase it. Also given pitocin and they turned off my epidural. I pushed for 4 hours! It hurt like crazy and I tore in 3 places. My water had Meconium and baby had breathing problems. They took him to NICU. He is still in there with a blood infection. Ecoli and probably meningitis. We're waiting on the spinal tap test results. It's scary and he will be here for 3 more weeks on iv antibiotics. I ended up with a spinal headache from the epidural. This has not been what I imagined. Hopefully my son fights off the infection and can go home with me sooner rather than later.
Our little angel, Pyper Jayden, was born 7/18 at 9:35pm. Had a lazy Saturday afternoon, fell asleep watching Netflix and when I woke and stretched to get off the couch, my water broke! This was right around 6 pm. We live 45 minutes from the hospital so we got ready, took my step girls to the Aunt and Uncles for the night and headed to town. Checked into L&D at 7:15 and hadn't moved since my last cervical exam (4cm and 50% effaced). They got us entered into the computers and called our Dr and contractions started to pick up each and every time. Called for and epideral, checked to make sure I was still ok to get it (was at 7cm) and by now contractions were taking all I had to fight through. We'll he didn't make it up in time and I ended up delivering all natural, but couldn't be happier.
Paige Marie entered the world at 8:16am on 7/17 and she is just perfect! I came in at 4pm on 7/16 for scheduled induction (due 7/22). She weighed 7lbs 9ozs and was 19 inches long. She's eating well and life is great! Spent my 6th wedding anniversary in the hospital with my husband, 3 year old and newborn. I wouldn't have it any other way!
We were happily surprised with our new baby GIRL!, Quinn Dorothy on July 16 at 10:05 pm. After laboring for 18 hours and reaching 10 cm, they almost had me have a c-section due to a dip in her heart rate during labor. Thankfully I pushed for 20 minutes and was able to get her out vaginally before she was too distressed! 2nd degree tear- ouch! We are both healthy and working on breastfeeding! I couldn't be happier!
Finally have time to show you guys our little bundle of JOY! Baby was due July 2nd, Ryan Hunter made his arrival on 7/15/15 6:00am 8lbs 21 3/4 inches long via emergency c section! Now we're all adjusting to our new life and I'm trying to recover
Born July 18th, weighing 7pounds 10oz and a perfect 19 1/2 inches long- Olive Lilli joined our family. Went a little overdue, and had just scheduled an induction date when my water broke naturally and less than 13 hours later we met our little one!
Ashtyn Kennedy decided to arrive a few days early....EDD 7/22, arrived 7/19! Grateful for my earth angel, although she diva-ishly made her appearance into the world. FTM, completely in love
Welcome to the world Caleb Allister! After 39 hours of labour, and a short 7 minutes of pushing, he came into the world weighing in at 8 lbs, 12 ounces and 21 inches long! What an experience that was!
My precious baby boy Asher was welcomed into the world on July 14th, 6 lbs 4 oz, 19 in. Scheduled induction due to gestational hypertension on the 13th. Foley bulb was inserted to start induction. Next day was suppose to start pitocin in the am but ended up starting my contractions on their own! So glad because I was super nervous about the pitocin. 12 hours of labor and only 15 minutes of pushing. So in love with my precious baby boy.
Jolyn Elizabeth was born on July 17 at 5:40 PM. I had to be induced since her due date originally was for the 12th. I had every intention to go through labor without epidural, but had a mental breakdown four hours in with having the most extreme contractions. I ended up getting the epidural, but I kinda had a bad experience with it since I was deep into feeling pains that I couldn't relax upon them injecting the epidural. I ended up only being numb on my right side, while my left side felt pain still. It was reduced to half the pain, so it wasn't the worst. Doing this made me go from 4 cm dilated to 9 cm. I felt a lot, a lot of cramping in my vaginal area towards the end of it, they had me on an oxygen mask and finally it was time to push. It did really feel like having to take a big dump lol it took like 10 pushes but she came out super healthy! 6 lbs 6 oz, and 19 in. I don't regret getting the epidural, but it was definitely a scary experience for me.
Our beautiful Bella June was born via scheduled c-section today July 20th at 8:52am,8lbs 3oz 19 1/4 inches long. Pink, and healthy and breastfeeding pretty good. Little bit of a lazy eater so far but we're working on it. Has to have a stay in the nicu for 24-48 hours just for monitoring but will still be breastfeeding every 3 hours and can walk down whenever we please( after I can walk lol) praying she gets To come back to our room soon! We miss her and love her so much already!!
Bronson was born 7/20 on his EDD. I was scheduled for an induction this Wednesday but little man decided to come on his own.... Thank God!
I started having timetable contractions at 9 am and went into L&D at noonish. Walked through most of my labor and mooed like a cow to get through contractions. I highly recommend mooing ha ha. I got my epi at 6 and little boy made his entrance at 9:12.
All has been well. He loves the boob and kinda looks like his Dad, which is a huge difference from our daughter. Labor dust and painless contractions to all!!!!!
Carter David was born just shy of 38 weeks on July 10th at 12:13am! It was probably the longest day of my life...but I'd do it all over again...SO in love with my little man
Meet Letty Rosalee. 40 weeks 4 day. Via c section after only bring Abe to dialate to 4cm. She weights 7 lbs 8 oz (one pound less than estimated at last weeks ultrasound). She is healthy and we are so proud, in love, and thankful!
Little Levi Jude was born on Monday, July 20th at 3:20pm after being induced at 7:30am. Original due date was 7/25.
I went in at 2 centimeters dialated and 80% effaced. They broke my water at 9:30am and I received my epidural at 11:30am. After the epidural, i dialted from 4 centimeters to 9 centimeters in 45 minutes!! I was 10 centimeters within 30 minutes and pushed for 40 minutes and he was out. I had a slight tear, but... Nothing terrible. Levi was born at 3:20pm and weighs 7 pounds even and 20inches long.
He is my everything. My world. I absolutely broke down when I saw him for the first time. It is a love like no other! :x
Aurora Elizabeth born 22 July, 6 lbs 4 oz, induced at 38.3 weeks. Induced in the morning and delivered with only gas as pain relief this afternoon. So in love we can't stop looking at her. For all the Wonder Woman who have had their miracles, congrats and love! For those still to come, ladies we are so much stronger than we think!
I delivered my sweet baby boy on July 22,2015 At 7:09 a.m , he weighed 9lbs even and is 21 1/2 inches long. He was born vaginally after an 11 hour labor. I progressed about 1cm an hour while the last cm took alittle longer. He was born very alert looking around! I love him sooo much!!!! He has my heart!!!!!
Emery Delilah born 7/22/15 at 10:28am. 7lbs 3 oz. 20 inches long. Born at 38+6. Was scheduled for an induction the next day for borderline high BP. Water broke at 4pm the day before and kept leaking. Went to hospital at 3am. Tried to get an epidural around 9:45am and doc couldn't find the "sweet" spot. He dug around in my back and poked me way to many times, he finally gave up and went to get another doc and here came sweet baby after only a couple pushes. Super fast! No one was ready! But she's healthy and we are so in love!
Graham came into the world on July 21 at 9:26pm after starting Pitocin at 6am & then pushing for 40mins. 7lbs 9oz 19in (the exact same measurements as his mommy)
19-hour, all natural labor and delivery at our birthing center -- a most incredible, empowering experience. I had severe bleeding and transferred to a hospital about 12 hours after delivery to receive a blood transfusion. I am feeling well now; baby and I are healthy and she is breastfeeding like a champ!
She is two days old and is hard for me to imagine my life without her. I feel like she has always been a part of me. I feel so inexplicably blessed to be able to hold little Hazel in my arms.
Ariana Marie was born 7/6 at 11:43 pm after an induction that lasted 18 hours, and only 40 minutes of pushing! She weighed 9 pounds 3.8 ounces, and was 19 3/4 inches long. She was born on my and my fiance's 3 1/2 years together, and she is the best gift ever!
We were struggling with low blood sugars after birth, but all is well on that front now...
Now we are struggling with elevated bilirubin levels and a cephalhematoma which is making it *that* much worse. Things are getting better each and every day, though!
I love seeing all of your beautiful babies mommas, you all should be very proud!
Derek Boe was born July 22nd @ 9:11 pm, he was 7lbs 4oz & 20inches long . Came in this morning at 6am to be induced , I was started on pitocin and given the epidural at about 10am. My son was not reacting to the pitocin well and his heartrate kept decreeing and after being dilated to a 9 he was face up and after trying and trying he would not decend or flip over it was decided to do an emergency c-section . I was extremely scared but everything went perfectly and I am now blessed with my beautiful baby boy . We are recovering well and hopefully will be up walking in the morning !
Amelia Lyn was born 7/22 at 11:10 pm. 8 lbs 15 oz. It was a rough day for both of us. I started contractions at 2 am, went to the hospital at 8 am. Had to get morphine, they broke my water, then the epidural. At 6:45 pm I started pushing. Pushed for over 4 hours before I finally broke down and they had to use forceps to get her out. I threw up around hour 3 of pushing, and again about an hour after giving birth. It was not ideal but she and I both are doing well now. She has a full head of hair too!!!!
Silas Crawford York born 7/22 at 11:37 pm. 7 lbs on the nose, 19 inches long. Cancer/Leo cusp baby. He's perfect and we're so in love! (looks just like daddy!) semi-emergency c section after a NST in my doc's office. All is well and we are healthy.
Kelaiah Joy Sarai was born July 15th @ 11:01am. She was 9lbs 5oz, 21 1/2 inches long. My expected due date was July 22nd. My labor was induced 12am on 7/15 & received second dose @ 4am. From there my labor pains increased. I had her vaginally with no epidural. She is my 4th child.
Lillian June Richardson graced us two days after her due date with a scheduled induction. 7/17/2015 at 5:57. She weighed 7.6 lb and was 21 1/2 inches long. She looks exactly like her daddy! We are so happy she's here.
Connor A. was born 7/14 at 5:25 pm. He was 20 inches long and 7lbs 9oz. Water broke at 2am, and steady contractions started 30 minutes later. When we got to the hospital at 8 am, contractions went from 3-1-1 to one an hour. I was given pitocin to get them going again (apparently such things run in my family). I had opted to not get an epidural, but after a dose of narcotic pain killers--they don't like me, I found out--got the epidural, and Connor was there after an hour of pushing. Best day ever! I love my sweet boy.
