Bostin Gregory made is arrival July 9th at 9:18 am coming 9 days early. Weighing in at 6 lbs 14oz and 20 1/2 inches long. He is perfect! Starting having contractions at 4pm on Wednesday they intensified by 11pm and didn't decide to come to the hospital until 6am. So I labored at home for 14 hours came in was already 8cm dilated. Starting pushing at 745am and he was here at 918am. I did it all natural absolutely no drugs it a amazing what one can do. I was so extremely proud of myself and believe me before going into labor my birth plan was some type of pain med and possibly epidural but did none of that.
Our little Cassidy made her appearance 6/25 (due 7/2) at 39weeks after being induced. Was planning on a natural birth, went in at 5:30am at 4-5cm dilated and after 5hrs of contractions getting more severe, I was still at a 4-5cm. I felt i wouldn't be able to push without some relief/rest. So I asked for an epidural and then got some rest. When I woke up they checked and I was ready to push. A few sets of pushes later the nurse told me to wait for the doctor..he walked in and said "whoa". Lol. A few pushes later she was here. 7lbs 12oz 20 1/4in. Except for being freaked out about the epidural and then having a little trouble getting my bleeding to stop everything was amazing. We're head over heels with our blond haired angel.
Delaney Kay was born 7/7 at 12:32 am weighing 6 lbs 14 oz and 20 1/4 inches! She's absolutely perfect and I am so in love! Can't imagine my life without her anymore!
Thomas Evald made his arrival on 09.07. 39+5 weeks. Around 6am got a little bit of my bloody show and 30 minutes later started to feel very light menstrual cramps, at 8 am had mild contractions for 40 seconds and approximately 4 apart, water broke 10:45, we arrived at hospital 11:15. Our little big boy 9 lbs (!!) and full head of hair, arrived at 5:03pm. I'm so proud of myself! Only pain relief I used was water blisters on my lower belly (they literally injected pure water under my skin), got one itty bitty tear. 40 minutes later he was already latching! We are so happy and proud parents! Good luck all to all of you, our bodies are stronger than we can imagine!
Bayler Elizabeth was born on July 8th at 8:30pm, 7lbs 13ounces. We have never been so in love! Somehow my kiddo has dark brown hair and olive skin while I am a red head! Insane. Labor was a dream after an epidural and only pushed for 20 minutes. Not bad for a first time momma! Plus, no tears or lacerations. I am a lucky momma.
Charlotte Rose born 7/9/2015! Induced at 37 weeks for preeclampsia 6 lbs 12 oz! Got pitocin at 5 am, midwife broke my water around 9. Labored naturally for about an hour, then contractions really ramped up and asked for epidural! Worked like a charm, I got a nap before 2 hours of pushing. Epidural was almost down to nothing, so I was able to feel PLENTY during pushing, but we worked her out at 7:05 pm, with a small episiotomy. Daddy was a great coach and we are such a happy little family!
Samantha Avery was born on 4th of July at 10:34am at 5lbs 9oz. I was induced at 37 weeks due to gestational hypertension, and the whole process was great. Had some issues with jaundice, and she ended up dropping a lot of weight so we were in the hospital for an extra day, but she's been doing great since. We're so in love with her!
Baby Devin Elias was born 7/10 at 4:45 am weighed 9 lbs 2 Oz 20 1/2 inches and I was 39.1 weeks when he was born. And we're doing great breastfeeding good luck mommas
Julianne Ruth made her appearance 7/9 at 6:47 pm via c section at 39.5 weeks. She is 7 lb 3 oz and 19 7/8 in long. Dr induced and I just wouldn't progress past 4 cm after water was broke for a long time. She latched and is feeding well. And I am recovering well. Hoping to go home at least a day before they usually let csections go home. I've only been taking ibuprofen since the epidural wore off. We are so in love with her and her big sisters can't stop talking about how much they love her .
Declan was born July 6th, three days before his due date, at 39w4d. He weighed 8lbs 2oz. He is the sweetest little baby! We have dealt with some jaundice, but we also got the hang of breast feeding and it's going great. We love our mellow little dude.
Baby Max was born 7/10, 7lbs 7oz, 19 inches long. He's breastfeeding like a champ and I'm so in love with him already!!! Trying to cope with the pains of the c-section but other than that, we are doing perfect!
I just wanted to share some encouragement with my birth Announcement! I had wanted an all natural labor but had a crazy experience. Got to 8 without any meds, got to ten with epidural, then after 12 hrs in labor, pushed for three straight hours with absolutely no progress. Mh midwife called in the Dr who had me push a few times and he tried forceps. Within three pushes he could see she was distressed (heartbeat jumped to 200) and could not fit through my pelvis. We had an emergency c section and had no time for spinal so we had an insane amount of drugs before they finally got me numb. I still had feeling in one part of my belly though. Even with all of that, I wouldn't change a thing! Go with the flow, do what your Dr says is best for baby, don't try to be a super hero and think all natural is the only way! Baby and I are doing wonderful and she is absolutely amazing. I am thankful the Dr got her out and no matter how it happened! Also, while in the hospital ask as many questions as you can! We have loved our nurses and they have been incredibly helpful, making what could have been a scary experience be so wonderful!
Our baby girl Ryan Rose was born 7/10 at 7 lbs 14 oz. I started having contractions at 2 pm the prior day and had my water broken at 7:49 am. She delivered at 7:17 pm after 1 he of pushing. We are so in love
Hannah Kate joined us 7/11 at 3:13 pm. Very easy labor (especially after epidural) and about 25 min of pushing. She's more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!
Our beauty arrived by surprise 3 days before my scheduled csection! This is our 3rd girl and my water has never broke before, but friday afternoon laying on the couch and I feel a pop, ran into the bathroom with water gushing everywhere! The timing couldn't have been more perfect as my husband was on his way home from picking his sister and niece up from the airport, they were planning on staying with us for 5 days so they could meet the baby. Anyways, here is our baby girl!
Jada Elizabeth

9 lbs 2oz. (Yes you read that right, lol)
21 inches long
Grant Robert Parkes, our little angel made his way into our world on July 8th, at 2:24pm!!! After 8 hours of labor and 30 minutes of pushing we finally held our baby boy!!
We went in to the hospital at 40weeks, 2 days to be induced due to high blood pressure. Pitocin was started at 10:00am and "upped" each 30 minutes until 1:30p with no progress (we were stuck at 3.5cm). OB decided to break my water at 2:45pm due to lack of progress and my contractions were at 2 minutes and majorly intense. I made it to 4:00p before begging for a epideral (still at 3.5cm). We were set with the epederal by 5:15p...and still at 3.5cm. DH and i cranked up a CD he had put together for us and he gave me a massage. Our DR was set to change out after her 12 hour shift at 7pm so she came in at 6:30p to check progress and declared I was complete!! Woo Hoo!!! She got in a few practice pushes while the new DR and nurse for the room got settled. Contractions were at 45 seconds and lasting forever!! We would push to 10 take a deep breath, push to 10, take a deep breath, push to 10 and wait for the next contraction (45-60 seconds). This went on for four hours!! Finally they did a epesiotomy (dang second degree tear) and we welcomed our beautiful baby girl at 10:35pm on Jul 6, 2015!! She weighed 7lb, 12oz and was 19.5 inches long. She is our entire world. I'm thrilled to introduce Faith Maree Garcia!
Yay I finally get to play!! Lucy Amelia was born at 6:44 am on July 12, 3 days after her due date. 7 lb 11 oz, 20 in long. I went in unsure if my water had broken, sure enough it did and pitocin was started within the hour since I didn't have contractions. Labor progressed way faster than I anticipated being a FTM and the epidural was a lifesaver. After about 25 min of pushing, my beautiful little angel was born.
Lurker from September! Due date: September 3rd Birthday: July 11th
Little Grace Marie came at 32 weeks via emergency C Sec, due to sudden onset of preclampsia. And by sudden, I mean sudden- I woke up in severe pain around 2am Saturday, and we delivered at 11:03am.
I had no prior issues and actually just had a regular prenatal appointment Friday, so ladies.... If you don't feel right, get checked out!! Our little peanut weighed 3lbs 8Oz and is drinking my pumped milk like a champion.
Muirenn Margaret made her grand appearance yesterday morning (7/12), 6 days early, weighing in a 6lbs 3oz 19" long. Contractions started late, went in already 5cm. Water broke at 9cm, 5 pushes and she was out!
Taggart Michael arrived on July 11 at 2:07am after 36 hours of labor and a very scary delivery. Weighing in at 8lbs 14oz and 21 inches long we are calling him Tagg for short!
Emery Addison arrived on 7/9/15 at 6:09 pm. She was 8 lbs 7 oz and 21 inches long. She is absolutely perfect and we couldn't love her more! She was due 7/19. She's the best!
Grayson Elise was born July 8th @ 39w1d, due date was July 13th, she was 5lbs 96oz, 19.3 inches, she's a little bundle, I was induced Tuesday night, at around 9:40 went back home and returned around 2:15am, she was born at 2:37am, water broke in the car on the way to the hospital, took 4 push and the vacuum and she was out, natural delivery like I wanted but even if I did want meds there was no time. Didn't even have time to get antibiotics for strepB+. We had to stay in the hospital because she had jaundice, she had to get phototherapy treatment which is just her being placed under lights for hours, she spent around 24hrs. We're home and she's my perfect little bundle, can't imagine life without her.
Liam was born July 13 at 12:09pm. We arrived at the hospital with contractions at 12:00 the night before, where I was observed for 3 hours (ouch) before they decided to admit me. I received IV meds for a little while, and then had two epidurals, however neither worked and anesthesiologist had left to go to csection, so all pain medicine from my IV wore off as I waited for him to get back. (Ouch again) Third time was the charm and epidural kicked in (apparently I have tiny spaces between my spine). It was the best thing ever and I'm so glad I got it. I pushed for about an hour and he made his grand entrance at 7.2 pounds and 19.5 inches. Love his cute, squirmy self so much!
Jensen James made his arrival 7/13 at 9:58 pm after being induced, then having to get a c-section which I was totally un prepared for. After coming in with contractions 2-3 min apart at 3 cm and not feeling them, I progressed throughout the day to a 7cm dilation with no pain management. Baby then started having his heart rate drop with each contraction, and repositioning didn't help. He also was not dropping down any further, so doc made the call for c section. He weighed in at 9lbs 7oz, and ended up having the cord around his neck not allowing him to drop. So thankful he arrived safe.
Lucas Peter was born on 7/10 at 37.5 weeks weighing 6lbs 8oz and 18 in. Labor started on my 12 hour night shift, got home after my shift and water broke at 10:30am. Got to the hospital and was 4cm. At 6cm I asked for the epidural because I pass out when in pain and becoming unresponsive during labor is frowned upon, lol. I was 9cm immediately after epidural, pushed for less than 10 minutes. He is the most amazing baby and we are so in love!
Jonathan James was born July 11 at 11:30pm via emergency c-section. 8lbs 6.6oz and 21inches long. Got stuck at 9cm for 4 hours with only fentenal which did nothing for the pain. 5 days in hospital due to "spinal headache" but when I look at his face it's totally worth it. Will add a photo when I can sit at a real computer.
Emory Rae was born at 12:06pm on July 13th. She weighed 6lbs 10oz and was 19 inches long. I was induced Sunday with a balloon and low dose of pitocin. I got the epidural around midnight (amazing!!!). They took the balloon out around 8 Monday and I was already at a 6. Dr came in and broke my water around 8:45. Got to a 10 at by 11:00... Pushed for 1 hour and she was here! We are so in love!
Baby girl Anais Elizabeth born 7/10 8lbs 14 oz. I was induced due to misdiagnosed preeclampsia. I actually didn't have it at all, but that's another story. I was forced to labor either lying completely flat on my back or on my sides due to a single high blood pressure reading at 40 weeks 3 days of 140/73 and slight protein in my urine as a result of dehydration from having diarrhea. They refused to give me a 24hr urine test and my blood pressure went back to normal after that reading only elevating when I was upset battling with the OB who had control issues at the hospital. After being in labor for over 12 hours at 1-2 cm I was repeatedly told that I wasn't in labor because my contractions never became regular. I had to argue with the OB for the right to allow my water to break on its own. I didn't want it broken too early. He kept pressuring me for cervix checks and was negative about everything. I went in with my hypnobirthing tracks and positive thinking along with many prayers and he was like a black rain cloud filled with worst case scenarios and discouragement. After 12 hours I finally reached 5cm and once again he told me I wasn't in labor because my contraction pattern, kept threatening a c-section. My mother and I started praying for baby to arrive vaginally safely . A few minutes after he left the room my water broke I shot to 10cm right away and my baby was born within minutes after 5 or so good pushes. I wanted a labor free of pain meds but was threatened with a c-section if my BP rose as a result of feeling pain so I agreed to the epidural. The nurse kept ignoring the beeping warning on the pump that the tube needed to be primed and my epidural malfunctioned and wore off then was unplugged. It took over 1 hour to hunt down the anesthesiologist to prime the tube. By the time she came in baby was coming out and it felt like a bowel movement of bricks. They fixed the epidural in time for my 2nd degree tear to be repaired but I felt everything else. OB refused to let me push on my side lied and said pushing on my back opened my pelvis the best. I was too tired to argue. Was on NPO, no fluids or food by mouth entire time. I'm glad she's here and healthy she was labeled large for gestational age and subjected to multiple heel pricks for blood sugar which were all normal and I wasn't a GD. If I ever give birth again it won't be in a hospital.
@butterfly061583 you should definitely become an advocate for what can go wrong in hospital births. Luckily your water broke on its own and you dilated quick but the way your OB treated you is totally unacceptable! No reason to induce for 1 BP reAding, and that's not what is considered 'high'. Low # was still in 70's). I know, I have chronic HPTN and demand 2-3 readings. Good luck w/baby, definitely put in a complaint about OB!
