@Sweetadeline31 - Glad your first day back wasn't too bad! I felt the same way and I know others did as well - it felt nice to have a little bit of a break. I am not going to lie it is nice to work in quiet and pump/pee when you need to without having to worry about a fussy/crying baby to attend too. It really does make coming home that much sweeter at the end of the day as well!
I was almost 30 minutes late for work today but whatever - just got a late start today. Thankfully no one relies on me to be here at exactly 8. I am never usually late, but still appreciate the flexibility I have at work. Our nanny is coming to our house for the first time tomorrow to meet H for the first time and for us to show her around. She starts the first week in Feb. and I am very much considering hiring a cleaning person to do a good once through before she starts. She is also going to be helping out with household cleaning (light cleaning) so that is going to help a ton, I am very excited for this.
@MrsTinMKE Getting a housekeeper is the best thing in the world. DH and I used to fight about cleaning all the time and it always was hard to do with my work schedule. I just increased her service from monthly to every other week. Hope the nanny works out too!!
@crawford411 I just teared up reading that. All the saps!
@MrsSinner402 I want to wish you a happy something, but I have no clue what that is. Happy Conception Day??!
ANB slept from 9pm-6am. I know it's just one night, but we both needed it! He seems to be on the mend - yay!
I'm lazy all of this ladies. Shout out to @MRSclarke08 I stole everything you said. and YAY unicorn baby!
Shots were not good yesterday! She cried SO LOUD then she wouldn't eat. THEN I asked her dr about teething because it seems like she'll be teething and then the next day she's good. She said her upper frenulum (sp?) was a little tight so now we have to see a specialist about that. Might have to have it snipped. My friend that is a speech pathologist said that's possibly why she won't BF without the shield. Can also cause possible speech issues later. So I'm glad to maybe get rid of that but sad for my babe. So I missed all the afternoon/evening stuff and I'm trying to catch up. Is it bad that I'm happy for all the sleep we get after shots? 7-7 with one wake up and a dream feeding. Not changing DD's diaper has give her a wicked butt rash. Any suggestions??? Do you slather on the cream every night at bed time?
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.

@MrsBabe614 - Sorry for your LO hopefully it will help and pain will be temporary. Re: diaper rash. I do clean DD really well before bed and put on a generous amount of Butt Paste. I go between Butt Paste and Destin - I just put it on her at every change. To help clear up the rash though, have you tried putting a little baking soda in her bath water and bathing daily? that should help to clear it up as well.
ohhh - I finally bought 30DS last night! Who is still doing this? Do you love it or no? @Crawford411 - you are doing 30DS no?
EVERYTHING Jillian does is gold. EVERYTHING.
LOVE HER!!! I never watched Biggest Loser until I found out that one of the most awesome women at our marketing agency was on it, and had a special relationship with Jillian. Jillian then surprised her on say yes to the dress and OMG I cried watching it!!!!!!!

Thank you :-) And I did NOT know about the bath water thing I will try that. I feel really guilty. it looks pretty uncomfortable, she has bumps and everything. I just need to slather it on at night then, I didn't even know that. I dont think I like desitin. I need to find some of the clear stuff.
@MrsBabe614 Dude, Desitin is the shit. I know people love Buttpaste and everything, but I've tried that, a Seventh Gen kind, and Desitin, and Desitin clears it up IMMEDIATELY.
I put some on her preventatively before bed, or if it's still red, I will through the day, but she's mostly cool. I just do it when her tiny crack is red.

We are considering getting a cleaning lady because I'm drowning in lawyering/mommying and the house just isn't getting cleaned like it should. But do you ever feel weird about someone in your house? Like, do you lock stuff up? Or am I just overly paranoid?
Aquaphor FTW! We tried Buttpaste. We still use it when we're out and about, because we have tons of little trial sizes that fit nicely in the diaper bag. We tried coconut oil too, which worked pretty well. But Aquaphor is like manna from heaven.
You can also sometimes tell baby has a diaper rash because they cry when you wipe their bottoms. Even when my poor boo boo screamed through every diaper change, I could tell it was a different cry-not annoyed, but hurt.

This makes me a little nervous as well...except for the fact that I am looking at hiring someone that used to clean my office and he was very trust worthy. Part of me though this morning was thinking I should clean before the cleaning person comes! I feel bad having someone else scrub my shower but that is what you pay them for I guess....

Re: Friday Randos
@sabby2 Happy bumping birthday!
@crawford411 Yay for some solid sleep. I got one STTN night the other day and it's kind of amazing.
