Ok, I'll start!
Dear Baby,
Please revise your pooping schedule so that it does not include a) pooping in the tub, and b) doesn't happen in the middle of the night with a two-hour build up of fussing and squirming,
Love, your Mom
Brooke slept through her normal 130 feeding and woke up at 330. My boobs were hurting. Normally I wouldn't mind the extra sleep but my supply is not great (she ate 3 more ounces than I pumped yesterday) so we can't go skipping feedings! This kid, right when I figure her out she changes it all up.
Started my day out with instant coffee because I suck and we ran out of regular coffee. Sure the date was December 2012 but whatever. Also I suck because I have 7 diapers for little man until DH gets home. I swear I thought I had more.
The diaper thing is my fear! I just know someday I will be out and run out of diapers right before a poop explosion.
We do the occasional grocery order from Peapod (highly recommend if). Well, today they were coming between 7-9. I though for sure I would be up because baby. Nope. She slept in! So I woke up to the peapod guy banging on my door. Oops! I gave him a big tip.
So I'm watching MTV. Nick Jonas - "Jealous" is on. In the background they have a bunch of words on signs. Like "remain calm", etc. I've found two typos now. One said "grattitude" and one said "allways". I'm wondering if the editors are that dumb or if they were intentional.

Thats all I have right now.
I kind of like that song. FFTC? And while we're at it I haven't shaved my arm pits in two days. I threw away my Schick because it was gross and haven't bought another one yet. I keep forgetting.
WORST night ever and it wasn't even because I was up with a baby. Worked last night and it was total cray cray in the ER! There are some things you just can't unsee.
@FamousEa - It could be worse, there could be NO coffee right?
@Mrsbabe614 - you make 2 days sound bad. I havn't shaved in a week :-\"
My whole body hurts. I am praying I am not getting sick. H has been a rockstar. DD has been getting up around 4:30-5AM at which time H gets up with her, gets her dressed, fed, changed. He showers and gets ready for work while I sleep in. I am just feeling so run down.
@MrsTinMKE Haha! I go way longer on legs etc but I always just do a quick shave on my arm pits. Its actually not that bad, when I was pregnant my hair growth was out of control.

2 days? That's nothing, my legs looked like Chewbacca... I genuinely forgot to shave.
this is strictly pits. I've gone a couple months on my legs. They started to look like man legs the last time...
Also, ANB slept SO MUCH better last night! It looks like his nose is clearing up a bit. DH just texted me that he ate a full bottle like normal (has been grazing for two days) and fell back asleep. YAY!!!

Haven't shaved my legs since my belly got too big to do it. Keep thinking I'm gonna, but ain't nobody got time for that shit. I'm lucky if I get a shower.

@MrsBabe614 - I am the opposite, if I don't shave my legs it bothers the crap out of me. Arm pits are another story for some reason
Regarding shaving, I'm with @MrsBabe614 the pits must be done on the regular! My legs on the other hand have been shaved twice since I delivered 14 weeks ago! X_X Once I did the entire leg & once from the knee down. However during my pregnancy I shaved daily, including the day of my c section!

@carriedaway19 >:D< I'm sure a lot of what you're feeling is normal. Don't be so hard on yourself you are still adjusting to what is your new "normal"! You're doing great at juggling it all, hang in there!

@carriedaway19...so sorry you're feeling this way. You are being super hard on yourself, but I can totally relate to the guilt and feeling like the world is on your shoulders. I'm assuming you've talked some of this out with DH? Can you try things other than the actual DTD if it's still hurting? I have gone through periods where I have no sex drive at all but I've found if I make myself a couple of times, then I realize how nice it is and I am more interested in it more often and it gets me back on track. But not always. Anyway, I think it's a myth that we can do/have it all. We can't...neither can DH and it creates so much guilt in us if we can't figure out how to "have it all". Figure out the things that are most important to you (family, career, etc) and will be most fulfilling to you and your family and focus on those things. Things like hanging out with friends will come a little more easily down the road.
So yesterday I didn't really miss DS that much? It was nice to have a long break from baby holding. But then I got home and he didn't give a single shit that I was there and now I miss him a lot. Sigh. Motherhood mood swings.
Also I like TB and I don't want to leave.

Rocking my baby to sleep before I go to work is my favorite time. I seem to appreciate her more when I know I'm leaving her for the day than on days off. She's sleeping on me and I don't want to move her! Cue tears.
@carriedaway19 I have very similar feelings that you have being that it's hard to juggle everything. It's like you just figure it out then BACK TO WORK FOR YOU! As far as the sex thing I make myself when I don't feel in the mood and realize that I also miss the connection. Or I do other things for DH. Sometimes I'm just plain exhausted and he can go do it with "Jill" in the shower (jerk it, your hand spells Jill if you hold it up Lol)
@windwithfingers I told you this same thing on FB but DD was the exact same way at first. She didn't seem to give two shits. After a couple weeks now she smiles when she sees me and nuzzles in. Some days it's still the same but I think she's just exhausted from being at daycare. I feel like sometimes I get to 3 and think "holy shit I didn't even think to call and check on her" then other days I miss her like crazy and have to fight off tears. It's a definite adjustment. Hang in there, you'll be #feelingnormal in no time
@carriedaway19 >:D<

I think we can all use a reminder of this! Definitely guilty of feeling the same way at times.
@Ohioloveyou - to cute! that little chin and those cheeks!
@carriedaway19 - Hugs lady. This shit is hard, and its easy to feel guilty about every little thing. We don't cut ourselves enough slack. Hope you are feeling better soon!
@Mrsbabe614 - you have me lookin at my hand like - Jill eh?
WORST night ever and it wasn't even because I was up with a baby. Worked last night and it was total cray cray in the ER! There are some things you just can't unsee.
This is so true. When I worked at an ER there were such horrific things...Such as someone using a cosmetic wedge as a tampon and then forgetting about it. For a few weeks.

@carriedaway19 im so sorry you are feeling this way but it is completely normal to do so. IMO adjusting life after baby #1 is harder than later adding more kids. Thats why it is good to wait a little bit to get a new rhythm and normal back before adding a new one. It does get easier, but hugs for right now! >:D<

OMG. I'm oddly fascinated with weird ER stories. Tell me all the stories!
An ex that I dated used to be an EMT. He said a girl had an apple up her vag. WHUUUUUT.
Morning. We had a breakfast meeting with our managing partner this morning to address some concerns about this place. They laid off three staff members while I was out on maternity leave and it kinda feels like the Titanic around here some days.

My sister was an ER nurse and said they have extracted interesting things from peoples assholes... Razor handles, a lightbulb...
Things in butts is what I always hear about. Lol I also have a friend who's a high risk nurse in labor and delivery. So many punches to hand out to some of the bitches that come through there all fucked up on drugs.

Ah well. I don't post many pictures of DS but I'll just drop this here.

But there were donuts
And apparently there will be no more layoffs...
@carriedaway19
RE hairiness. I have to shave everyday. Both legs and pits. Otherwise I feel like I am so dirty
And I did manage to wash my hair last night since I had forgotten to do it while in the shower the night before. So I feel like I am winning at today.
