@lizabethann06 I woke up last night thinking about you. I almost shot you a text but didn't want to wake you up if you were sleeping. I'm so sorry >:D<
@biggunsbo I'm upstairs working in my office and I forgot a straw to drink my coffee. Each sip I take makes me feel bad for my teeth. Thought you'd like to know.
Just finished PT. I know going through some discomfort will help in the long run, but man! Now I'm all sore. He wants me to work on kegels to help activate my lower abs.
@Stacey099 we started sizing up at night to cut down on leaks. We are in pampers cruisers size 4, and put the 5 on at night. So far it has worked, we just have to make sure the tabs are snug and his little "friend" is tucked down into the diaper and not pointing up. If these stop working we might have to consider adding a disposable cloth diaper insert if the problem is volume, or a cloth outer diaper if the problem is a snug fit.
In other new the Meas family just dropped the unlimited data plans we've been grandfathered into with AT&T. I'm nervous, especially since our plan adds the ability to use our phones as mobile hot spots. :-S
Some stretching & yoga really helped my pain this morning. Here's to hoping some Tylenol & keeping up with the kiddos!
Alex has started going on the potty regularly & Abby hasn't had a diaper in two weeks. :-bd
Both kids are still asleep at 9am. I haven't got my coffee yet, but I am enjoying the quiet. We are supposed to get some gross weather for NYE-- so probably a good idea we are staying in. If only the IL weren't here for NYE. Oh well, at least the kids can have fun.
@stacey099 target brand didn't work for us overnight, we had to switch to Huggies.
I second Huggies overnight. He will wake up with an extremely full diaper but I think we've had maybe one leak.

T actually didn't do well with a bottle, but he is a good sleeper, so I fed him around 10, he attempted a bottle around 12, and then slept until I came to feed him again around 5. I slept for a couple hrs, fed him again and went back.
We are home now, Charlie and DH are asleep, Toby and I are hanging out.
Charlie really did do so well. The IV placement was a bit traumatizing, but other than that he was mostly just cranky because he was tired.
MrsHudson, I'm glad everything went well. Please update us on the reaming you are going to give the ped office. It's too bad you have to leave a good doctor because he has crap office staff. I would write him a letter and tell him that while you really enjoyed working with him the staff makes or breaks a patients loyalty.
Last night I got almost four hours of restful sleep per the fitbit. That's the best I've had since I've started tracking it. Which just makes me sad because if I'm in bed for eight hours I should get more than four hours of decent sleep. I'm thinking of joining the forums just so I can talk to others about things they've done to get more quality sleep. Somehow I feel like that would be cheating on you lovely ladies though.
I'm ready for a growth spurt. I'm so tired of trying to force feed G. I swear the child survives on yogurt and cheese.
maybe give her the choice between Roquefort and a hot dog (obviously organic, from Whole Foods )? Either she chooses the non-dairy product or she LOVES Roquefort and you've got a budding gourmet
I had a dream last night that @econmama and I took our kids swimming. Oh and in my dream econmama was very very beautiful and awesome (which I'm sure is also true IRL). She also gave me advice on how to select a good financial planner. I've been having lots of random pregnancy dreams.
@lwrightenator, so sorry to hear about your sick little! Pneumonia and double ear infections sounds awful.
@WanderingA, DS has also started crying/fussing in his sleep the past 2 weeks so I've gone back to being awakened 4-6x/night. It sucks! And unfortunately, I haven't noticed a big language explosion with it, hopefully that comes soon. I hope the crying ends for you so you can enjoy your sleep again!
It's currently a balmy -6 outside and only expected to get to 2 degrees today. Brrr! Since I work from home, I always try to take my dog on a hike every day (otherwise I get cabin fever) but I don't think that's happening today. Sorry pup, it's too damn cold!
@mrshudson618 so sorry this is happening! Thinking of you >:D< @lizabethann06 Your friends babes have been heavy in my thoughts. I hope as more information is presented, you and her other loved ones will start to find some peace. A million internet hugs to you.
@ChrissieMeas@audrey1787 - we just recently downgraded from our old grandfathered unlimited dataplan with AT&T also. We found that we got close to the total bandwidth during college football season, since we don't have cable and we (DH) used the ESPN app on Apple TV to watch most of the games. For the most part we don't come close. And if you do hit the max, you just pay for another additional portion of data usage, so you shouldn't get stranded, Audrey
I think we saved $40 or $50 a month by changing the plan, and so far it's been worth it.
@Stacey099 We use Pampers during the day, but Huggies Overnights at night. We were using a size up in the overnights; we have moved up a size in Pampers and haven't yet in Huggies, but I think our next box will be a size up. If they can handle L peeing out over half a liter of TPN, they can handle anything**!

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
DH's second interview is happening right now. :-SS
He's basically been told the job is his to lose. Which of course means he's counting on getting it, and I'm so nervous something is going to happen and he won't get it after all, and will be crushed.
This is the one that would switch him to 100% WAH, with a raise, with a schedule that might make it easier for me to teach with minimal daycare, and could move with us to any of 20 or so states. We need this to happen.

@mrshudson618 - Glad everything went well! I feel you on the IV, Keenan had such a hard time with that when we were in the hospital in May for his eye infection.
Keenan is sleeping SO badly. I'm worried he's getting a cold, but he acts totally fine outside of some sneezing. I did just realize he's been sticking his fingers in his ears, but that's been going on for a couple of weeks so I don't think it's really related. 2 nights ago he was up like every 1.5 hours (really weird for him) and then last night a ton. DH might take him to the doc today, we'll see. Especially with us being out of town this weekend, I want to make sure all is well!
@PickleX I worked at a Tmobile call center for a short time and they offer employees a really good deal on a plan but I just said no thanks. They acted like I was crazy but they have terrible service outside of the city that the call center is located in and I don't live here. Their coverage map is misleading and could be so misleading that it led to your fil breaking the router. I'll believe it.
@ChrissieMeas i have been tempted to drop it since we so rarely use a crazy amount of data but it wouldn't really save me much money and what if we get stranded without wifi and DD needs to watch elmo? It would be fine but I still haven't been able to follow through with downgrading.
@primrosemama I had random pain sort of from my pelvic bone to the front of my hip that was similar to RLP when I wasn't pregnant and the chiropractor adjusted my hip and my knee and it was like magic.
@haddocky I've been at work for almost an hour but i can't exactly say I've been working... It feels like I've been here for a few hours though. It should be lunch time. Add a bunch of time consuming stuff to your list and then the time should fly by. When you have a lot to do the time disappears right? Like magic?
T mobile didn't lead to fil breaking the router - he broke it while trying to disarm his alarm for some reason. I couldn't understand why his alarm and router were related (still don't think they are). But omg t mobile is so misleading with coverage! If I ever got stuck somewhere rural I'd be screwed. It was like living in the 80s.
Hi everyone... @gutsymama everything crossed for the mr.
Big hugs for everyone else who needs them!
Allison has bronchitis, so we are sticking close to home....poor little bug had a really tough time settling last night. She would cry and wake up every time she coughed. Oh well, good excuse to sit and drink tea and snuggle!!
Re: Eat SPAM, not cashews.
