1:26 am they just took Charlie into surgery to scope him and retrieve the piece of nut lodged in his left lung.

Oh, and I am at the hospital too, I settled Toby at my moms and left frozen BM. he's never had a bottle before, so fx he does well too.

>:D< FX for Charlie. I would definitely be changing pediatricians. Anything that results in a trip to the hospital is definitely an emergency. I'm so sorry you've had to go through all of this.

G woke at 4. Thankfully he's letting me rock him back to sleep.
I feel we've discussed this before...G keeps peeing through his diaper now that he sleeps longer at night. Should I double up? He's in 5's now. Maybe put a 6 over?

I'm working from home today, then going to pick DH up and going to our friends house. Lo is staying with grandparents so no worries about rushing back for bedtimes or bathtimes.

DS decided that 4:45am was an acceptable wake up time.  I stayed with him and tried to get him back to sleep until 6:10, when I had to get ready for work.  Now I'm at work, sipping on my venti coffee from Starbucks.  

My parents are coming in today to watch DS while his daycare is closed and to do Christmas with us, since we were at the IL's for Christmas.  Well, now my SIL and her husband asked to stay with us tonight.  It will be a full house that I am not prepared for, its a wreck from just getting back from out of town, from us just being exhausted and lazy, and we have no food.  I'm stressing, but at the same time, I'm not sure how much I really do care, I'm so tired.

@Stacey099 I would just put a 6 on him before bed and limit fluids right before he goes to sleep. If he is the type to go to sleep with a drink, just give him a half of a cup instead of a full cup. We had the same problem with my 3 year old when he wore Huggies and got into the larger sizes (4,5,6). When I switched him to Luvs, the amount of overnight accidents went down. My little guy was leaking a couple of months ago and I put him in the 6s. He randomly had a huge growth spurt and is swimming in his 5s, so we don't have it happen as much anymore. They do leak here and there though.

Feli now thinks pulling my underwear further down while I do my business is vitally necessary for her happiness. Walks in, sees me on the throne, rushes to me to pull down my underwear and see what exactly is going on. A delightful routine we have established for mornings.

The procedure was fast, with no complications. All of us got no sleep. He has had steroids for some swelling and a couple breathing treatments. Charlie is happy now, eating jello and playing in the playroom. We are just waiting for paperwork to be discharged.

Put him in adult depends and he will STTN.

I walked into that one. Lol After I posted I realized that I shouldn't post when I'm in a sleep stupor.
@Silv3rlining‌ We use Up&Up overnight. He does pee a ton overnight. @econmama‌ I'll try doubling them up tonight.

I was wondering about this because I assumed you wouldn't just give him a cashew. I'm so glad he's ok and now I'll never be able to look at my favorite nut in the same way. Poor Charlie and you all!

T mobile should come with a warning here that it doesn't work outside of big cities [-( my ils typically have wireless, but right before we arrived, fil broke the router trying to disarm his alarm system. Not sure how those things are related.

We didn't mean to drive, but our flight was cancelled so we had to. It took two days to drive each way. I got to see a lot of America on the way! Some of it good, some of it WTF.

Yeah, one of the things I kept thinking was how it could have been worse. It could have been an allergic reaction or something.

@mrshudson618‌ Yay!! In glad it all went well, how incredibly scary.

So for the past week or so Adeline has been crying/fussing in her sleep a bunch. She will fuss for about 10 seconds - 1 minute then fall back asleep. This coincided with a HUGE leap in language, like nonstop babbling (she sounds like she's speaking Chinese) and copying what H and I say. It's cool to witness the change but I really hope she starts sleeping better soon, I wake up every time she does and I only have 8 (!!!) more weeks of relatively good sleep left before I have a newborn again.

@lizabethann06 More hugs coming your way. I'm not sure if you're ready to talk about it, but we are all here when/if you are. These things never end up making sense, but I know talking it through with friends or sharing stories of people you've lost help the healing process.
