Vinny used to say cool but he hasn't in a while. Now he like to point to his "diapy area" and say "area". I guess we need to start using proper names for things. He was crying last week saying "area, area" because his bottom hurt from a little diaper rash. That's his funniest word of the past week or so. Also zipper is probably the cutest
So a few weeks ago when H was refusing to put a book back on the shelf DH started a game with him where every time J refuses to put something away, DH sticks it down The back of J's pants. J thinks this is hilarious and while it hasn't done anything to get him to put things away more often it's funny to see how excited he gets to show off whatever is in his pants.
Now he wants everything to go in his pants. This morning he had a tantrum when I told him I couldn't put his new (and totally beloved batman little people figurine) down his pants because he was wearing a sleeper.
Also he calls batman "man man" and it's so cute. He got an entire package of little people superheroes. There were two bat and but he only has eyes for the black one. Doesn't care about any of the others.
Leaving for after hour pedi office soon. Think G might have an ear infection. Should have seen the signs earlier as always. Really hate to have to go out in the bitter cold again.
I'm rocking Ben to sleep. He wants to lay sideways. He really doesn't fit across my lap like he used to . But this age is still so fun.
My H had a meeting with a firm that would like to buy out his practice, bring him and his book of business in, and partner track him. They might have an offer as early as tomorrow, but definitely by next week. I'm cautiously optimistic that the deal will be good enough for him to consider. It would be a salary paycut, but the money from buying his book would be a financial boost, and he would have benefits, PTO, etc that he doesn't currently have. We'll see what happens.
Also, I never ever order anything online. I have two pairs of shoes that I really want to pull the trigger on and buy, but we're leaving tomorrow morning through the weekend, so it doesn't make a ton of sense to get packages delivered. But I want the shoes right now!
I'm beat. We just roamed the mall for the last 3-4 hours... Fun after Christmas returns and exchanges. I got some new makeup though so yay! DD did ok though she did try to run around like a maniac at one point. The funniest was when she tried to leave the store through the storefront window and whoops there's a glass wall there.
Saw Into the Woods earlier this afternoon with my cousin and sister. I'm glad they didn't change as much as I thought they were going to.
Last stop is wegmans for some groceries and then FINALLY home.

Wake up number one just happened. I think the poor thing is getting sick or move teeth are coming in. Teething tablets and a little milk and we are cuddling again.....
