I said something like that. One of the naysayers said you'd have to get an infant insert for the Ergo, and I let her know that she should just roll up a receiving blanket. Also, I told her that a flexible wrap like a Moby or Boba would be great for those infant days anyway, and the Ergo would be much easier on her shoulders and back as well as last longer than the Bjorn. I also posted a link to the infant & child hip dysplasia site to show what proper carrying looks like. After my post, 3 more of her friends chimed in with "Bjorn!" I give the fuck up.

@GraceInCA‌ with Ergo coming out with the 360 I don't see how anyone can push a Bjorn ever again?? Forward facing is the only real argument I've ever gotten about the Bjorn, but it doesn't even count anymore because the Ergo can forward face too.

People like what they know. I think Bjorn just markets their stuff better, and it seems based on that Facebook post that people don't want to admit that maybe they made a bad choice, so they try and get others on board with that choice to validate them. I frankly don't have any dog in the fight of what wraps and carriers one should pick because there are so many good ones, and everyone has a different body type and different needs. However, if someone asks for opinions, I will point out basic safety and comfort features. Which I guess is not popular.

Oh I hear you there @GraceInCA‌ . I haven't run into many issues carrier-wise, but I'm really struggling with car seat safety and the people I know. Trying to find a diplomatic way to tell people to quit buying used seats, forward facing their kids the second they hit 20 lbs (which isn't even legal in our province anyways!) coats in car seats, the list just goes on. I often wonder how it is these people are so clueless? How do I know these things and they don't even have a clue?

They used essential oils up my neck and in my hair for my massage. I now look like a greasy lion and smell like patchouli. I'm not sure I can say chiropractor with a straight face when I walk back into work.

FWIW @34blondie‌ I love my Quartz City Select. They only had silver frames when I got it, so it's quartz on silver. Super easy to keep clean and it always looks good.

@megsw85 I totally feel you! My H is terrible for doing that. He's gotten slightly better lately, but we still have arguments on the regular about dinner. He often works overtime, and up until this week his job is out in the bush. I fully understand and am ok if he is late or whatever, but if I talk to you at 4 chances are pretty good that you will know if you will make supper or not. Just freaking tell me!! I hate when I don't hear from him so we go ahead and eat and he walks in the door just as we are finishing. I mean, seriously, we aren't assholes. If I knew you were 10 min out I would just wait.

@34blondie‌ I have the select in onyx with silver frame. I think it looks nice and looks the least grungy. Unless there is a yogurt incident. Onyx also coordinates better with most of the boys clothes.
As you can see I don't have very good reasons for my choice but I wanted to weigh in as a fellow select owner!

Yeah, I'm in Torrance but I take a red eye out tomorrow after our customer meeting. The meeting was supposed to start at 8 am but it got moved back to 10 which is practically tomorrow evening in my internal clock. I have friday "off" so I'm trying to adjust. The very nice lady at the bar has served me "pub chips" and a generous glass of Chardonnay.

It was a $60 cab ride from the airport though!!!
