^speaking of that. Where do you ladies find those loose/long running tanks? I can't seem to find any that are long enough. I like my tanks to be longer than my hips and I'm only 5'6. Every time I try to get a bigger size they are just wider instead of longer.
Target's maternity tanks are great. They're extra long without having extra belly room. Whenever I see them on the clearance rack I grab one or two.
@WorkInIt - that is definitely the toy that just keeps on providing entertainment! LO definitely still loves his too. Not daily, but definitely multiple times a week concerts! It's so exciting to have a toy that fascinates the littles for so long!
I was just in the parking lot of the museum and I found a very, very well worn out lovey on the ground. It was not there this morning. I am seriously considering calling all of our members that came today to ask if they lost it before they realize it's gone right at bed time. I shudder at the thought of not being able to locate G's "Rocky" raccoon lovey before he went to sleep!
I just learned our layover when we fly on the 22nd is in Atlanta. Unfortunately, it's only for an hour and a half. I will wave and blow kisses to you from my terminal :x
Not sure who all had a membership to BJs but even if you just use the free 60 day pass that comes in the paper every Sunday they have a great deal on the Jawbone UP.....
Ugh, we are all going over to some friends' house for dinner tonight. I love them, but they have a super filthy, not at all toddler-proofed house. I just don't have the energy to be on defense for 2 hours. I wish DH had insisted thy come here instead.
Ok- I am going insane dealing with B's toy-nado! Kid has toys flipping everywhere! I am trying to rotate some out and am getting abnormally ragey that all of the pieces for a particular toy are not in the same room of the house- like half of it is in his room, and half in our living room. Why would they ever get separated?? And why is it happening with every toy he owns!? I am not mad at him for the record- he's 1 and doesn't care about keeping things together- I am just all kinds of annoyed. And it is weird, because I am usually a pretty cluttered person.
Any organization strategies would be appreciated- seriously- how do people stay sane with toys infiltrating everything?!?
Oh and side note- my crazy ILs informed us (not asked- told) that they are buying B an inside roller coaster for Christmas - what the actual fuck!?!?
Megaroo I don't have a ton of advice, but my system for getting toys on the same floor has to do with lining things up on the stairs to take up or down. This goes for clothing too which seems to be our bigger down fall. So everytime I go up or down I grab something. It drives my husband nuts though, but he won't run up and down the stairs putting things away so I stick with my system. Whenever I leave a room I look for something to take with me to put away.
Along these same lines I have an up/down basket. It's like a small laundry basket and it always goes with me up or down the stairs to deliver or collect. When DH goes up or down empty handed it drives me batty. There is ALWAYS something to go!
I'm totally failing my step goals. Pregnant, sick, sleep deprived and cold weather should be all be adequate excuses, but I feel bad that I'm not hitting my way lower than last month goal.
If it makes you feel any better I'm right there with you! I think I've hit my daily goal for the challenge once, maybe twice.
@smpeachey I'd just comment on the cuteness, then send her a PM saying that you didn't want to call her out, but that the chest clip should really be higher. Since you are doing it privately you could also throw something in like, there were so many things I didn't know in the beginning but X (insert link, maybe to CSFTL) really helped me learn the dos and donts of car seat safety
@smpeachy she may take it better and less of an "attack" if you PM her instead of commenting on the actual photo.
Also I've attached links to car seat safety so they can research it on their own when I let people know how unsafe their car seat practices are and don't think I'm trying to be a know it all.
@WasNotWas I'm curious... Didn't your H proclaim that he would whip the boys into shape while you were away? (You had specific things, I just can't remember what they were). How'd he do??

Haha yes he thought it would be easy ty is still on the paci but dinner was a lot easier as far as fighting bradley to eat. Mostly, tonight they were just tired
Is anyone doing Build-a-Bear with their littles this year or would you wait until next year when they can be more involved in the whole process (picking the bear, clothes, accessories)

I would wait. Bradley did one for a friends 3 year birthday and they were even a little young for it
@WasNotWas and @CL8badB that was sort of my thinking. We had to replace 2 build-a-bears a few years ago when our darling lab decided to chew both our niece and nephews. Those suckers are not cheap! the kids had so much fun picking out their new bears so all was forgiven, but my H was not impressed in the least, lol
But on the other hand, you can really never have too many teddies... We'll see. We might just pick one for her with some things she would like, and let her build her own in a few years
@subliminalrabbit I hope you get a good nights rest and feel better tomorrow! I am pretty jealous that you actually got E to cuddle with you for an entire movie though. Not that I want M to zone out in front of the TV or anything, but there's been days where we all could use a movie afternoon, just to relax. Kid just can't sit still that long, even if she's sick.
I knew @tiffletons518 had been MIA for awhile but I didn't know she hasn't been active on here since September! Maybe it's because I still see her daily on Facebook.
Ooooh and I called out my crazy cakes friend about her "fiance" she is still trying to convince everyone she is engaged to a WWE wrestler and I told her she was crazy. We are officially no longer friends
@34blondie that's awesome! We took our niece and nephew almost 3 years ago, so I guess they would have been 4 and 2 (but both getting close to their birthdays), they both did pretty well, even the little guy, although I do remember he got kind of bored by the end. But theirs were not cheap at all! Haha. H's sister had offered to watch our dog while we were in Europe. After we replaced the kids build a bears and a few other things, it probably would have been cheaper to just get a kennel.

Lol. What "proof" is she claiming? I want details!!!
I'll give you details tomorrow! I'm off to bed. Good night!
H and I are going out without the kids for our anniversary tonight. This is the first time I am leaving Nora, and I am having all kinds of emotions about this. We attempting giving her a bottle last night (first bottle) and it didn't go as smoothly as I would like, so now I'm all worried she will just scream the whole time. And as much as I hate to say it, I think I would feel a million times better with the situation if my mom was watching the kids instead of my ILs. I don't know how I am going to relax and enjoy myself
@megaroo64 I can completely relate! After Lo was born we had tickets to see jay z and justin timberlake when he was 6 weeks old. We hired a sitter for G and my MIL came over to watch Lo. Even with two adults and a 1:1 ratio I was so nervous! Just try to relax, have a drink before you leave and know that the anticipation of leaving is usually worse than the actual act. Once we were out I had a great time. So great I forgot to pump one of the hours and I ended up with mastits. So don't do that, but otherwise relax and have fun!
I have to AW the iPad purchase we made last night.
Target is running an iPad trade in special right now. We got $150 for our iPad 2 instead of the usual $80. They gave us a $150 giftcard that we used to purchase a new iPad Air 2. I also used... Target $10 off coupon, $10 giftcard from previous diaper purchase, $50 giftcard from credit card reward points, $50 giftcard, then Redcard debit card on the rest for 5% off.
My coworker was due to weeks before me but had her baby boy at 34 weeks in May 2013. She is pregnant with a Dec 14 baby girl and her water broke on Thursday night. She is only 33 weeks so they are trying to keep the baby inside until she hits 34 weeks on Wednesday. Please say a prayer for her and her baby girl if you get a chance.

ETA: she posted something similar on fb this morning. I didn't realize she'd been MIA from here for so long!
