LO woke up at 5:45 full of energy and wanting to play... No signs of slowing down yet. I'm exhausted but can't be annoyed cuz he is giving me the cutest smiles and babbles. *sigh*
Ok, WTF kid. Fed, changed and nice and calm and happy then Bam! Crying like crazy and won't stop with the usual tricks. Then after 10 minutes just stopped on his own and smiled at me. Back to happy baby.

Break to move and find new PCP, OB/Gyn & RE Sept 2013:first appt with RE Nov / Dec 2013: IVF #1 with ICSI split Dec 6: Retrieval, 4 retrieved, 2 mature, 1 fertilized Dec 11: Transferred 1 (Day 5) Dec 30: HCG Beta, 4980. BFP! 1 little bean!
So LO went from not waking until 5:30/6am for a week back to 3am, ugh. Also so tired of DH's snoring. Once I finally get LO down its a battle to get DH in a position where he doesn't snor; kicking him no longer seems to work. I kick, I try to roll him over (but that's hard), I wake him and tell him to roll over but that takes several attempts, and sometimes when I finally get him on his side where he used to not snor, he has been snoring. Wish I could sleep with earplugs but then I wouldn't hear LO. Any suggestions on getting someone to not snor?
@RachelB104 my husband snores terribly. Keeping the bedroom cold helps. He also bought a Temperpedic pillow that is specifically for back sleepers and that also helps some. A lot of kicking him seems to do the trick too.
So I think we're in the 3 month growth spurt. LO woke up at 1am and just wouldn't settle so I fed him and he sucked down the bottle. The he just ate again at 6. I hope he goes back to sleep long enough for me to take a shower and drink some coffee.

Extra strength nose strips are the reason I still love my husband.
I'm so over this waking every 2 hours at night still bullshit. Every night. I'm exhausted. I keep reading about 5-8 hour stretches and thinking wtf kind of babies does everyone else have? I want to punch someone.
@lizzie82088, have you tried a miracle blanket? DD can be set down in her crib awake, fall asleep and either STTN or get up once. I'm up with her now for the first time- she went to sleep at 9 and it's 2:50 am.

Is it anything like those zip up swaddle sacks? He hated those and normally I just swaddle with a blanket and he likes that but gets out of it. I'll have to look into trying it out, I'm desperate!

Or have you tried the super swaddle? Thats what did it for us.
I'm going to give one of these swaddles a try and see what happens... He's hungry when he wakes up so I'm not sure it's a movement issue. If he wakes up after being swaddled I guess I will know he really is hungry.
Did the super swaddle and LO woke up after 30 minutes... Didn't break out but is crying and struggling. Wtf am I doing wrong
I'm sure you're not doing anything wrong...
I've read sometimes an earlier bedtime can limit night time wake ups. Maybe try the super swaddle tonight when you put LO to bed and it might work better than motn?
Hmm I'm gonna try it... But usually we don't put LO down and he just falls asleep with me and then I transfer him to the RnP later on... He doesn't have a bedtime really. I'm lucky if he falls asleep by 9 but it varies.

I was dealing with the same thing with my LO last night. If I swaddled him he was struggling and fighting and squirming trying to get out. If I didn't swaddle him his arms went crazy and he woke himself up. This went on from 3-4:30, and is a recent development because he used to swaddle and sleep! I finally just put him in a loose swaddle, he busted out one arm left the other in and went to sleep. Anyway the point is you are not alone but these kids are going to ultimatly do whatever they want! Hang in there!

Thanks! Ugh it makes me feel better to know I'm not alone... It really makes me wanna cry sometimes reading about everyone's LO's sleeping for 8 hour stretches! I guess all we can do is our best.
Twice today while pumping I've gotten those contraction-like cramps. TF?! I thought that was all done 2 months ago! I hate having to pump before bed. I'm so friggin tired, but it'll be so much worse to skip and wake up with rock solid tits.
I took the plunge and tried out my zipadee zip with DS tonight. So far he has slept 830-2 which is normal for him. He looked like such an angel stretched out in it
Is there a 2 month sleep regression? Because my kid is sleeping worse than ever right now at 10 weeks. Up almost every hour again tonight starting at 9:30pm. Bottles at 2 and 5am. He had slept through the night for 2 weeks until this past week! I guess it was just a tease.

Why is my baby still awake? Seriously. She normally goes to sleep at 10 then wakes at 330 to nurse then back asleep until 9. She slept for a half hour at 1030 and she's been awake since. I just wanted wine. And now I just want to sleep. ):
I got a 3 hour stretch just now! That's really good for my LO... How sad that I'm excited about that haha..
i feel ya, 3 hours is the longest stretch we ever get. usually he starts with a 2.5 hour stretch, and then sleeps in progressively shorter bursts throughout the night. and still doing short naps. it's pretty hellish. if my first one had been this bad, he would've been an only.
Up every hour all night after an exhausting weekend of comforting a screaming baby to sleep only for him to wake up after 30-40 minutes and start all over again. Kill me now.

LO hasn't woken up to eat, but my boobs are so full that I need to pump. Pump is currently on the fritz. Pump is driving me crazy. Pump may just get thrown off the balcony tonight.
LO has this knack of sleeping well on weekends, but as soon as mommy has to work the next day, forget about it!! Also, enough with the peeing every time I take your diaper off, babe! Sigh.
I wake up to feed LO and his arms aren't tucked the Halo; in the style like he was wrapped up that way not escaped. I know I wrapped him arms in when I put him to bed. Did DH unwrap his arms to change him while I was sleeping? How did I not hear any of this; LO sleeps in the pnp right next to me. A little unnerving that I didn't hear any of this.
LO woke up at 3 and didn't really want to go back to sleep. Problem is i start my new job today.....really don't want to be yawning in my new supervisors face all day!
I take my years maternity leave for granted some days, (Canadian) but then I read your posts about being up all night and having to work and I admire you guys!
DS slept from 8 to 445 glorious!!
You get a year?!?! and your baby slept from 8-445?!?! Get the f*ck outta here!!!!
Not really. I'm sure you're lovely, and I'm happy for you that your country makes sense and gives you a year. BUT HOLY HELL AM I JEALOUS (as I prepare to pump at work)

I've tried everything - crib, RnP, swaddled, unswaddled, sleep sack, zipadeezip- nothing is working!
Ugh.
