I'm soooo hungry. We have nothing to eat in this house!
I know the feeling. Well, sort of. I'm starving but I have no healthy snack food here. I will end up having toast. Thankfully I have a prime rib roast with roasted potatoes and Caesar salad in the works for supper tonight. DH will be home around 7 so I just need to last another hour and a half.
I'm trying (not putting too much effort into it) to lose a couple inches off my hips/butt/waist so I can get back into a few of my nice clothes. I'm trying to keep to mostly healthy snacks, but it's soooooo hard.
@LakeCountryGal LO went in a swing for the first time here too! She was the opposite- liked it at first then got fussy. Not sure if it was making her dizzy or nauseous. Did your LO seem stuck looking down too? It was adorable nonetheless.
We have a tooth! Bottom right popping through!! Is it silly to hope she finally sleeps well tonight?
So the desire was to watch the hockey game tonight. (Not me) I look around and see everyone (except LO) staring at their phones while hockey is on the tv. LO is eating.
@babycaps Yes, sitters ARE expensive. (Or can be) Not that we couldn't afford a sitter, but we prefer to take our kids with us most places we go. Sure there have been times we'd like to be without them...casino, drinks and relax, theatre... But we are okay avoiding those places if we've got the kids with us.
We are carving pumpkins this afternoon. I expect an ooey gooey mess for everyone. If like to do it outside but we will have to see how warm it is when DH gets home with the pumpkins.
I'm not sure what we are going to carve. There are 5 of us, 4 pumpkins. DD will get her own. I don't know if we are going to do a 'theme' or all do random whatevers. I will try to post an after photo.
Ethan is officially in his brothers 18 month pj's.
What took him so long?
LO has been wearing the biggest of the 12 month pjs, but they are too small. The 18 month fit much better. As long as LO doesn't have a massive growth spurt in the near future, he can wear the Christmas pjs that DS1 wore last year at 13 months. Lol.
Add us to the no poop party. But this has been an issue since 3 months.
Also we didn't carve pumpkins this year. Maybe we will on Wednesday.
If read a certain way, the above statement almost sounds like your LO hasn't pooped since 3 months old. (Must have a reeeeeally bloated belly!! Lol)
Oops lol. No she has been having constipation issues since 3 months. It's awful. I did realize that a certain type of Enfamil does help a little. We give water, prune juice, food (avoid certain foods) but we've still had to give suppositories like 5 times.
I'm on my second cup of coffee already !! DD was up 7 times last night... I don't know what's wrong and shes been super fussy ... Note to all my fellow coffee / PSL lovers.. Dunkin dougnuts pumpkin coffee is disgusting !

I just wanted a place to vent a little... The marysville school shooting has made me so sad! I know in this day and age these things happen but this is so close to home it's scary. I grew up one town over and am a teacher and these things just scare me so much and now having a lo I guess it really makes me more sad thinking about how those parents must be feeling. Alright that's all now go squish your lil baby I know that's all I wanted to do all weekend

All of Dunkin's coffee is disgusting.
(Don't tell my family in Boston - they might disown me!)
AGREED, its the only place close by work though... I had no choice (

Yeah, Will still fits in his 3 month clothes . . . He won't be in 18 month clothes until he's 4.
Lol, my kids are still in some of their 3 month clothes too. I was starting to get all sad about them moving up a size, then had to remind myself that new clothes are fun too . Grow peanuts grow!
Whut?? Okay, thread is 40 page numbers less, but the comments from yesterday have reappeared?!?! The new random isn't updating. I'm getting notifications of stuff I can't see.
@babycaps I see your post but the page numbers are still off.
I believe the page numbers will stay off with the posts that have been removed
^^that. Posts that have been permanently removed will lower the post count. We are holding steady at 598 for over a week. Now, it we suddenly gain several pages...that will be interesting.

Sooooo much cooler looking when lit up.
Then all the bits and pieces get cleaned in the tub.
Suppositories are no fun for anyone involved.
I hope things get easier as LO gets older.

No need to buy the next size up every couple months.
Vaginal. 3 hours of labour.
(First contraction to delivery)
And she had another baby a year later.
@-)
I don't think I would have been willing to have a second baby.
