    It's still the middle if the night here, but you know sleep deprivation is bad when you're dreaming about it! I dreamed I finally got to sleep at 6, but still had to work at 8, and I was thinking I could nap during pumping breaks

    Home after a nice 4 day weekend away. Missed so many posts. Hugs to all that need them and sorry so many ladies are not getting sleep. Hopefully sleep finds you soon.

    Bah, another lecture from the ped about how he should be on iron-fortified cereals.  These appointments are such a waste of my time, since I don't trust pretty much anything she says.

    One more and then we move and I will exert some effort into finding someone who isn't stuck in the stone age.

    I finally quit working and went to bed at 1:30 this morning. Of course DS2 woke up at 1:45. DS1 was up from 2:30-3:30 with me laying on his floor and him requesting that we sing all the songs and then DS2 up again from 4:00-4:15 and me up for work at 6. My kids hate me.

    @jodibolivar yes, always interview. At the very least, it's good practice and you can get more information about the position that may make you more excited about it.

    @fireflygirl12 yep tried the twinkie! Yum and so much better than I thought they would be! With descriptions like a twinkle would survive a nuclear meltdown I expected it to be more fake tasting! Lol.

    Im going to break anonymity now. @BiggerinRealLife‌ did you get your package yet? Or a card to pick it up? Tracking says a card was left friday and you only have 5 days to collect. I'm getting anxious over here!

    I'm so ragey today. I posted a picture on Facebook of DS and his grandfather/uncle at the festival yesterday. My stepmother had to comment and correct that my dad was Opa and not Grandpa. His grandkid isn't even old enough to talk, how do we know what name he call my dad. I'm not going to force him to call my dad Opa if he wants to call him pop pop or something. I just hate her so much. This isn't a big deal, but she is just a bitch about everything and if it's not her way then I'm trying to break up their marriage or some bullshit. Ugh! Thankfully DS has been sleeping an hour and 20 mins which is his longest nap in months. Yay.

    Eta im paranoid something has gone wrong cause I've seen her post a couple of times but no mention of a card to collect or anything! Though as you say shes has a lot on.

    That's such stupidity on the parents part. No matter what your feelings are on guns I think most everyone can agree there is NO reason for a 12 year old kid to own a gun. Sorry lady but your brother is a fucking idiot.
    Meh,  My brother had a BB gun at age 8 that was all his.  Granted it was kept locked up when he wasn't being supervised.  There is no way he would have been able to take it to school.

    My LO already has a gun.  Not that he's going to be able to shoot that particular one until he's like, 16.

    He will also have age appropriate guns as he gets older (and by that I probably mean 8-12, depending), but while they might be "his" that does not mean that they will be in his possession unsupervised.

    Im making https://www.twopeasandtheirpod.com/creamy-tomato-tortellini-soup/ for dinner. I altered it because I suck and can't leave  a recipe alone. Thought Id share it though because its a good way to use up a lot of tomatoes ( recipe says to use tinned but its ok)
