I was on my way home from work and happened to see him running around a half mile from our house. So I turned around in our driveway and called him, hoping he would just get in the car. Nope. He knows he's in trouble so he high tails it home. Pull in the driveway and I'm so mad I forgot my phone was in my lap. It fell face down on the concrete. I've only had this phone for maybe 5 months. No upgrade until January 2016.

Is the milk warm enough? Sometimes DS doesn't like mine right after I pump because it cools off so quickly.

Maybe lay her to breastfeed and then slide the bottle in to replace your boob after a minute. DS did a lot better laying sideways at first. It's like you trick them into it.

I have heard of an app that delays the sending of messages for this. no help now though!

DS1 is sleeping in a big boy bed tonight for the first time! I want to cry, when did he get so big? I also won't get any sleep tonight because I'll be worried about him

We moved DD out of her crib and into a bed on Sunday. She loves her new bed! I have to admit I checked the monitor a lot the last two nights!

Mine will go to anybody and just smiles away at new people. I was on the other side of the crowd away from him several times today and he never fussed once. The other little guy wouldn't let anyone hold him and cried when his mom left him with two other moms so she could use the bathroom. I'm just curious when stranger anxiety and separation anxiety starts?? Is it weird that my LO doesn't have any issue being away from me or held by strangers??

Enjoy it!!! Dylan doesn't have stranger anxiety but the separation anxiety is killing us

Edolie has had stranger danger for a couple of months now. She's totally fine with my brother who lives with us, and she LOVES my FIL. She seems to do better with men than women (except for me of course), and she tends to like people who are really enthusiastic and animated.

I realize I'm probably imagining things in my sleep-deprived stupor but I'm a little wierded out. We are at my IL's house. I put Cora down in the PNP in the guest room because she is clearly tired. After a few minutes, she starts crying. I go to check on her and hear shushing. I open the door, thinking my MIL got there first somehow even though it is super early and everyone is still asleep. There is nobody there except the baby, who is now sound asleep. :-S

Halp. DH is sick, probably a cold but you'd think he has Ebola the way he's laying on the couch whining. Lo is sick. Super snarfy, waking up like every half hour. Mama gets none of the sleep.

Weirdest symptom for lo: her soft spot on the top of her head kind of sunk in and was pulsing. She's not dehydrated according to the pedi, but it freaked me out.

Dirty lurking until this plague is gone from my house.

DS1 is 2 and half and has never had stranger danger or separation anxiety until this past month. I think some kids just don't get it. He only started getting it when Daddy had been gone for 4 months, that's when he started worrying about where I was going.

Yesterday sucked so  bad. 

The baby monitor "broke' in the night according to DH and the dog was sick all day and sick in the night on our very light colored bedroom carpet. 

Because I had no baby monitor I didn't hear my poor son crying that his little bum was wet , so by the time I did hear him ( i am a coma sleeper) he had soaked through his clothes , sheets and comforter. So the extra laundry and 7 am bath was nice. Just more to add to the list. 

Cleaned up the dog nonsense and then spent doggie breakfast time trying to keep my blockhead male bulldog away from my girl bulldog 's breakfast . His allergies are so bad and her stomach is so sensitive that I cant seem to have them on the same food and I have tried. so much $$$ but i love them so . 

 only good things yesterday was I got all the too small clothes of LO packed away and all the 6-12 month stuff , washed and hung or put away . I sincerely hope I decide to have another child and its a boy because there is SO MUCH barely worn Osh Kosh , Baby Gap and Old Navy stuff. 

Oh and because I am not too good at this whole housewife/sahm thing yet ( wtf its almost been 6 months hopefully i get good soon) i forgot about dinner . So while out at 6 pm getting dog food and probioitc organic yogurt for the dog , i ordered pizza.

Was so tired we missed sons of anarchy.

Today isnt shaping up much better. I think LO Has DHs cold.

thanks @embear22  Its horrible when the men are sick. they are just too dramatic . Also while my DH will wash his hands he is anti hand sanitizer which drives me nuts.

ooh and the baby monitor was not broke.. it had somehow got changed to the wrong channel so the video wasnt coming in but i spent a good chunk of yesterday searching for the reciept and filling out a ticket on the manufacturer website and then researching a new baby monitor . Then  i thought of troubleshooting lol   So happy though because a/ i really didnt want to spend 200 on another baby monitor  b/ i couldnt decide on one !

Wow! That is some serious oversupply. I hope you can find some relief. I'm in awe of the thought of pumping that amount at all, let alone in one sitting after LO had already nursed! Hang in there

Thanks for all the ju ju  guys    I've given LO some homeopathic cold stuff and put him in a comfy sleeper which he appears to be filling currently by the sounds of things .

Thanks @mommyofmac and @Xxlilies. This one made no real sense. In the dream I found out I was pregnant and moments later found out that I would just end up losing the baby. I've had some irrational obsessive thoughts lately about pregnancy/becoming pregnant (I'm not pregnant, nor do I think I am). I've been thinking a lot about whether or not I want to go though pregnancy again even though I'm totally open to more babies and I don't mind pregancy...do I want to chance having to experience a miscarriage again, or chance having scary complications after delivery again?....maybe that's where all this came from. 

Or maybe my anxiety meds need to be fixed....I don't know. I can't shut my brain off.

@aronie82 is he actively teething right now? My kids always ate less (bf or bottle) when they were cutting teeth. It usually only lasted a day or two.

Dreams can be crazy. Sometimes they make sense sometimes they don't. I suck and eat candy and chocolate before I go to bed so I often have crazy dreams. Sometimes there are people that I havent even thought of let alone or seen or spoken to in years in them. Other times the dreams totally reflect real life worries etc.

Ugh . LO definitely filled that sleeper. Oh well, Morning bath happened and poor guy is sleeping again. As much as I love naps I kinda feel bad when it feels like he was asleep more than awake some days . But if he needs it , he needs it .

So weepy today. It's starting to sink in that there will be another baby in less than a year. It's crazy. Thank you for all the healthy baby juju. I was so relieved to see that heartbeat.

@aronie82 I've heard that your breast milk can change when you have your period. I only had one while bfing DS1. He didn't seem to notice a difference, but my supply was a little down that week.
