@embear22 I'll have to check! I loved me some DSW in Texas, but at size 9-10 (I also have huge hobbit feet for such a short person) that it was usually a pretty ugly selection... Especially the clearance section.
YES. I wear a 10W, and I think I've finally learned my lesson of never shopping at DSW. Nothing ever fits when I go there.

Love those! I have a shoe addiction problem, but it helps that I wear a 10. Less selection means less for me to buy! Plus, I'm already 5'10" so I don't like buying super tall heals because then I tower over DH and I look like the jolly green giant, just not the green part ;-)
I love shopping at Zappos.com for shoes. Great customer service, and usually free shipping both ways.
So irritated. I meet up with two mommies in my neighborhood every Wednesday for brunch, we also walk our babies and dogs together a couple times a week. We take pictures every week, and for the one she asked me to move her daughter closer to Pat for the pic, well Patrick grabbed/pulled her hair and she started to cry. The mom freaked out, cuddled her, and left the room, leaving me and the other mom in awkward silence/conversation. I walked out and said, "I'm really sorry Patrick pulled her hair." She said, "yeah, poor Chloe... I'm sorry baby, are you ok?"
Literally made me feel like shit for something my BABY did. Her 7 month old scratched Carter once and I was like, "don't apologize, he better get used to it, they're babies!"
Anyways, so I was like, "well, we're going to leave, Patrick isn't invited back anymore." And she didn't say anything. He grabbed her hair and when she moved her head it pulled. Technically she pulled her own hair.
Well, before I left I said, "you should definitely wait a while before Chloe gets a little brother or sister." Which was so stupid and catty to say. WHY AM I SO UPSET ABOUT THIS?? Ugh, waste of my time. Now I don't want to hang out with her anymore.

You have a right to be upset. She totally over reacted. She seems to think Pat did it on purpose "Chloe is such a bitch, lemme pull her hair". Come on they're babies she should know that a baby as young as Patrick doesn't consciously pull someone's hair to hurt them.

I'm a 10, 11 if it's narrow and I can only find shoes at DSW! I wonder if the selections are different by region. I'm happy to see I'm not the only one with skis around here.

I have a 4 year old that is so rough on his poor baby sister on a daily basis. I think Chloe will live. I say be gentle with your sister at least 80 times a day.
@poru, guarantee Patrick was thinking exactly that! And that's what I thought, you might want to toughen her up for future interactions with any child.
Think I found the solution to undisturbed sleep for A-game: belly or side sleeping!
Moms of non-back-sleepers, how did you move past the "they're going to suffocate!" anxiety? I'm thinking a video monitor would make me feel better, but that's money we're trying to save for a big girl car seat once she outgrows this one soon. =/

^what Coleslaw said. We put him down on his back but his little baby tush is in the air immediately, that's just how he chooses to sleep now. He's a pro at rolling and moving his head, I can't stress it or he won't sleep.
DS pulls my hair all the time. Well he just grabs it and moves it towards his mouth like he does everything else. It's not intentional. No harm, no foul. That lady needs to snap back to reality. I'd probably stop hanging out with her if she blows something so insignificant out of proportion @KatieGummow.
@KatieGummow Patrick is obviously showing early signs of bullying. He must know he's cuter than the other babies, and that little girl isn't cool enough to have a magic sleep blanket.
Hey all, skipping over 100 post - hope every one is doing well! thoughts with anyone who need it.
I'm at my mums now, its going really well, DD has been incredible! My grandparents made the 2hr drive to come and visit which is lovely but I can join those complaining of inappropriate advice and behaviour! First she tried to give DD a chicken bone to suck on - not a major but oh hell no. And she never said anything, just went to give it to her. And both her and my grandad keep saying I need to be giving her solids. We are giving her some purees but nothing much else yet. Getting a bit sick of the stories about my mum getting biscuits at 3 months!
But they love us and mean well so its easy to ignore. I also just said at one point that she is my daughter and she will get solids when I think she is ready. go me!
Contraband buddy: Mum and I have been shopping, got you some really yummy goodies and it will be sent first thing tomorrow morning!
Angel baby June 2013, DD born 22 April 2014, BFP 10 Sept 2015 - Due 22 May 2016
Sooooooooo tirrrrrrrrrrrred. Sleep regression is in full swing + teething + moving. Lawdddd help me. Tried a bottle dream feed last night, no dice. Up at 12:30, 2:00, 4:30, 6:30 and she's back down at 8. Right as my coffee kicks in.
Also, I'm in nipple pain hell right now. Pumping part time and nursing full time= ouch. Therapearls in my bra right now. 6 months in and this is the worst nursing pain I've experienced yet- even worse than the first 6 weeks.
Send cake. Or a nanny. Yes, cake, a nanny and wine.
Jealous! Love him. Played on one of his pianos in a recital when I was 11, thought I was the coolest B-) but none of my friends knew who he was!
Another fun and random fact, he played at a local venue here a few years back I know someone who was involved in setting up his dressing room and they said every decoration in it and flower had to be white and they set up naked male dolls (like Ken dolls I'm assuming) everywhere.
So I met some ladies last night for dinner at a place with a salad bar. I got a bowl full of sliced bell peppers to keep DS entertained, since it was past his bedtime. He's grabbing them and going to town on them (gnawing, not swallowing) and everyone thought it was the most amazing thing ever.
We still had two wake ups last night but I actually got some good sleep. 3+ wakes up kills me. I wonder if sleeping on his belly had anything to do with it.
Wow @KatieGummow She totally over reacted. I think that little girl is going to have a very sheltered life. Logan gets a hold of the older two's hair all the time when they play with him. The first couple of times they got upset but now they know that he doesn't mean it and if they don't want it to happen they have to make sure their hair doesn't get in his face.
Can I request the magical sleep unicorn for my 2 year old? This boy wont sleep! He has been waking up every night at around midnight and wont go back in his own bed.

If any of you ever complain about your ILs again, think back to this post. They called us Monday to tell us they were leaving that night to drive here, across the country. This means my amazing craft room, full of unfinished projects has been thrown into bins and made into a guest house. Drop every thing, because they suddenly want to visit! No end date set either. Top it off with the Mariah bridal shower tonight and a teething baby that screams her face off all night long and I'm having the best week ever.
I made an awesome find at Target last night. In the grocery /baked good area they had chocolate covered pumpkin spice cake bites. Oh my god. Soo good. I ate 5 and don't even feel bad about it.
This kid wakes me up by talking loudly until I get it. I'm always extra tired and groggy until I roll over and see his sweet face. Here's our first selfie of the day folks.

Sounds like you need a drink. I'm sorry, if my mil did that I'd be begging for Xanax and wine.
I'm overbumping today to take my mind off my dog is having surgery. He hadn't been eating much in the last couple of days and last night he vomited EVERYWHERE. So we took him to the vet this morning because we thought he may have gotten into something. It turns out he has a TUMOR. they are going in to see if it's in his liver or his spleen. If it's in his spleen they can remove it and do a biopsy. If it's in his liver, there's nothing they can do. My god my heart is breaking just thinking of him laying there unconscious in surgery, then waking up in pain and not understanding what is happening to him. I dread the phone call later learning his fate, and I dread even more what I'm going to have to say to my kids. He's the best dog. The sweetest thing ever.
