  I could probably write a daily segment on why toddlers are assholes. They drive you fucking nuts all day and then they are super sweet and funny, which makes it all worth it. Definitely a challenge though.

  My cousin (and maybe one or 2 other people) put together this young adult retreat thing. The first was last year, but I was big and pregnant (actually I was still small and cutely pregnant, but I didn't know it at the time) and needed to save money anyway. This year we have the money to go, but I was told I couldn't bring baby girl. I texted him asking why and he said it's supposed to be a relaxing thing, so it would defeat the purpose of that, and if he let one person's kid go, he would have to let everyone's kid go, and not everyone has well-mannered, well-behaved kids.

  
  

  I'm just annoyed because 1) she's not a kid, she's a baby. 2) If anyone would be bothered by her presence, it would be me and/or my husband, and it wouldn't affect anyone else. And 3) she's breastfed, and I guess I could pump, but it would be so much easier to not have to do that, and I wouldn't be comfortable being 3 1/2 hours away from her for a weekend anyway.

  My brother did the same exact thing a month ago. He lives 3 hours away and threw a party for my SIL and told me I couldn't bring my baby that he STILL has yet to meet! He's obviously a total dick and I didn't go.   The letter gives you a case worker and their #. Well she no answer and her mailbox is full. How convenient.
  
  I was looking forward to this apt. I was hoping they could prescribe something for this constant vomiting. Even if I go back to work who is going to want to watch a kid that constantly vomits all day. I feel so stuck. Just when something seems like it might go my way I get slammed back down.

  My toddler definitely makes me lose my temper. I try to put him in time out before I lose my shit. We both can calm down and he knows he has to say sorry when he comes out. I guess he's cute sometimes, haha. He does say "mommy" so sweetly that it melts my heart every single time.

  Any friend or relative that could either watch the girls (or just one) or some with you to help?

  I'm alone 24/7 except for Tuesdays when my MIL comes to visit the girls and drive me crazy. But she can't help.

  Since I've been home from work at 5 Karsyn threw a toy at my head "on accident", ripped my favorite book. dropped a picture frame off the coffee table & broke it, & had a meltdown when we left the park.
  
  Then she sang twinkle twinkle to her little brother & hugged us saying "my family" and she loves him.
  
  Makes you so angry you could scream then melt all in the course of 15-20
  mins :x Toddlers.

  I never get mad when people say "no kids" at events. I totally get it. I didn't include kids when I was planning events before I had one and I think it's planner's prerogative. It's not all about you. Gotta get over it. But, like @Vinny424‌ said, I often also don't go then. But that's my choice and it's nice that they still invite ME even if they don't invite my child.

  Hi, my names shelby and i've been a legit hardcore lurker/love titter since.. last august. I'm 20, married for two years next month and my son carter was born on 4/21 via ECS. My husband is a marine and i basically live almost in hell thanks to this arizona sun. oh and if it weren't for most ofyou ladies i would probably know nothing and feel like a mad woman most days.

  @aronie82‌ I haven't done cereal but this is how my lc suggested I bring my supply up just enough to have extra: either pump for longer time (at least 5 minutes after the last drops) or turn your pump up a little stronger than normal. I've done both, mostly because I get caught up bumping and forget when I started, and can usually end the day with an extra 1.5 oz. the pedi said this was enough to make cereal with.

  we are in yuma, about 3 1/2 hours from pheonix and san diego. this heat is dreadful, hopefully it starts too cool down in a month. @tferr02

  Day two of nine complete (DH is in the feild again).This time around is a lot easier for some reason. The days are going by quickly and I'm not scared at night. I think I'm getting this whole army wife thing down.
