Sullivan is taking his second nap of the day in his crib. That's enough confirmation for me: goodbye pnp downstairs! We do all our sleep in the crib now!

I'm actually thinking since he already sleeps 8-9hr stretches there he may have more distraction free naps and sleep better during the day. Here's hoping I don't have to lug that beast back out. I just needed to reclaim some of my living room since DH bought that god awful baby jail and put it over foam tiles:

DH is awesome. He stays awake Sundays, so to make up for my terrible night (he works nights Tues-Sat) he gave me a back massage then told me to take a bath while he played with baby. Love that man!

I was thinking last night, I hope @SoulTermination‌ didn't get hurt yesterday, some things people said or eluded too could be hurtful if she didn't take it in good fun. And I think I speak for most of us when I say we would never want anyone here genuinely feeling hurt or sad. Come out come out @SoulTermination‌ >:D<

Ill own it! Im the one who cant stand her! She lords over parenting love she owns the place and if you disagree with her everyone on the board runs to her defense. Reminds me of another lady who "owned" hdbd in another thread that we all were shocked by by was defended by her bmb...

Yes! I was thinking about this too. I don't find her creepy in any way and think she's one of the nicest people here. I think she's probably quiet and shy (more than I am!) IRL so is probably misunderstood by a lot of people which translates a bit through here. Or maybe I'm completely off-base.

So, FWP. I'm throwing a bridal shower for my moms assistant that is the sweetest. I asked what themes she wanted and said Mariah Carey themed because she is obsessed with her-not my style but great. We are going for it, millions of butterflies all over. Taking place in 2 weeks.
We got the invite to her other shower thrown by her MIL, Disney themed. We sent our invites. Other shower is today and they've magically "surprised" her with a Mariah shower.

What. The. Actual. Fuck. I'm raging mad about this complete dick move by 60 year old women.

I'm aware of this completely ridiculous theme, trust me. She's the sweetest girl ever and she was super excited about it so I was like, eh fuck it I'll go for it. I'm doing a shabby chic butterfly set up with Mariah playing in the background. Listen to me, trying to make a Mariah shower classy. LOL.

The problem is that her MIL didn't listen to her and when she was super excited about our shower I think she just jacked it. This is the shower we had to circle what china we wanted to get her and mail them a check because they already bought it all. What a cunt, for real.

The last catholic wedding I went to the ceremony was at least 3 hours. It was forever. They are portugeuges Catholics so that may be a contributing factor on the length. It had a full mass and the ceremony.

We had a full mass, our options were just the ceremony for 43 minutes or a full mass for 68 minutes... I don't know if it is a regional thing though, we are from just south of Boston, Massachusetts.

Skipping posts. I love you all. Hugs for all whether shit is good or bad, just (((hugs))) this has been the BEST weekend I've had in a long time. I spent Friday AND Saturday at my sister's house just cooking and Vegging. I also got asked by her fiancé to operate a restaurant he's opening soon (WTF) and I just made this bomb ass stroganoff. Who shared the recipe this week? I need to give you all the props for my delicious Sunday dinner. I ended up using beef sausage but it still came out great! I think used too much sour cream but it tastes delicious

They are awfully specific, and I have no idea how they know. I knew those numbers because our parish secretary emailed them to me when I asked what the difference was, and it became a topic of conversation. I just peeked back at the email before replying. I had forgotten them myself.

Oh man I feel ya @dani+california and @vinny424. DH is that guy on Christmas Eve at 8pm in Walgreens frantically looking for gifts. Our first Christmas, he bought me a toaster oven that cost $20 and was an absolute fire hazard.

Every year I'm like OMG just do it in advance. Why can I shop for my whole family, our friends kids, you and basically your whole family, have things wrapped and labelled beautifully and under the tree weeks in advance? I don't get it.

On his nights to cook, without fail, he will ask "what do you want for dinner?" around 7pm. Uhm...are you planning to teleport dinner ingredients to our kitchen? I'm huuuunngry. These nights inevitably end in takeout tacos and a cold shoulder.

What I don't understand is how some men just don't possess the plan ahead gene, yet my bosses' husband cooks, shops, works full time and never bitches about it. I want that.
