  I can send California fun, but not totally sure what that would be yet... If I pretended like I still lived in Kentucky however there is TONS of stuff.  Moonshine, all the bourbon, DERBY PIE.  Whoever gets me can decide between the pot from California or the Derby Pie from KY.  And seriously, I'd go with the Derby Pie...

  Finally got the baby to fall asleep. I put a movie on for DD in her room so she can watch it and hopefully take a nap. What happened? She has a melt down. Wakes up the baby and mom gets no fucking break today. I'm sooo irritated now.

  You live in Fairfield? I'm from Lompoc (VAFB) now living in Hell (Tulare). I guess we could send Alkali instead of sand. Though there are "sand spits" in both SNP and Yosemite.

  I'd participate but I'm going to be homeless for a few months here pretty soon! I can send someone some Canadian goodies though. We use the maple syrup in a can on our Christmas Ham every year the whole can. Maple ham y'all!

  Hi RTT! Thanks for all the sweet thoughts. We're at the inlaws this weekend (a 9 hr turned 11 hr thanks to the baby car ride.) I love that idea with the notebook. Might just have to discuss that on the way back.

  Toddlers should not have wooden shoes. DD1 just busted a vein in my foot when she stepped on it in her wooden clogs. So I have a peri-area ice pack stuffed into my sock. But I fear it's too late. My foot is already a lovely shade of purple.

  I made lactation cookies last night. They are delish! DH was scared he'd grow boobs or lactate so he didn't eat any until I convinced him that he'd be fine. Now, we just crumble it, mix it with yogurt, and add a few berries and granola. Wah-lah. Yummy bedtime snack.

  That's a great idea!!! My DH made me lactation cookies after he whined about the cost of buying them. I'll have to try crumbling mine up!
