Apparently it is possible for your smoke alarm batteries to die during daylight hours! Who knew? I thought it was a 2am kinda happening. So now to get the kids ready to go to target to get a 9v battery

I called Giant a little while ago and of course had to go through the what happened, where, who, how did I feel about it, blah blah blah. The customer support representative said sorry on behalf of the company (of course) and then pretty much wanted to end the conversation, so I said I wouldn't be shopping with them anymore. She proceeded to give me coupons. Oh well. I hope they teach their employees manners and real customer service. I am so over it now. Thank you ladies for standing up for my cause though! Much appreciated

people need to know that even if you feed your formula it's not the end of the world because at least they ARE fed and taken care of.

Spray with Oxiclean stain remover and let it soak in cold water with detergent. It might be saved.

So far Oxi has not failed me in getting out 2 day old formula stains on bibs that did not get sprayed immediately.

I second the Oxiclean. You can also use hand soap on the onesie and just hand scrub it in a sink with warm or cold water, let air dry then launder like normal. I do this a lot for the messy explosions, and it always works. Worst case scenario, use a bleach pen on the white area and rinse immediately after.

For those keeping track of my DD's periodic fever stuff, her bloodwork results just came back totally normal, ruling out anything major (organ function issues, etc). She has one slightly elevated inflammatory marker which can be indicative of periodic fevers. Need to return for repeat bloodwork during her next fever episode to recheck the levels before they feel confident diagnosing it as periodic fever syndrome.
I'm so relieved. I didn't realize how worried I was until I heard everything was fine.

Happy to hear her results were clear. My DD's inflammatory level was elevated as well, they said it was expected because she was in an active episode when her blood work was drawn. Hoping for the best possible outcome for you guys.

My dad wants me to come over tonight (40 mins away) and I really don't want to. We have a stained relationship and it's going to interfere with bed time which has just started to get better after the 4 month sleep regression. I also have a bad relationship with my step mom because she is incredibly self centered and birches about everything. It's inevitable that DS will nap on the way home and then won't go to bed as usual. DH has been working a lot and has barely seen DS. Now I just don't know what to tell my dad or if I should just suck it up and go over to spare his feelings.

She's fine. She's fed and well. People with always say "wow look at that chubby baby" or "he's so small, I bet he's a newborn". As long as you are feeding her and her pedi isn't concerned then just accept it. You're small as well, so it's not a surprise.

I have a friend who's husband is in prison for "cyber crimes." A bit of research and cyber crimes = possession and distribution of child pornography. They have two kids together and I was the maid of honor at their wedding. I feel bad for her, horrible for her kids, and I hope I never see him again.

My old boss's husband was busted in a sting trying to meet a 12 and 14 year old. My guess is this was a regular thing for him, otherwise he wouldn't have been targeted. Another person I know had arranged to have sex with a woman and her 8year old daughter, then the woman would then have sex with her 13 year old son. These people were obviously cops as well. I would have NEVER suspected either one of these two were such fucking sickos. They ruined their families lives forever.
