Ahhhhhh!!! I thought the ice challenge videos were annoying, now I have to see posts about how this "thug" in MO basically deserved to be shot because he stole cigars. I can't handle Facebook right now. Donate money and go get yourself a soul and I'll be back later, people. I feel like you guys are the most sane people I know on the internet.

Definitely call the manager - that is ridiculous. I get irrationally pissed when people pass judgement, especially since I'm struggling with supply. DH and I watched the documentary "Breastmilk" and I may have yelled at the screen a few times. $:\$ ">

This is where I would take the opportunity to troll the fuck out of everyone. Just go into each thread and start saying the opposite of whatever is being argued. Be as outrageous with your statements as possible. I love doing this to people on my Facebook. Especially the anti-vaxers.

Someone posted that this had nothing to do with race or injustice because "this is a new time in history" and people should stop being ignorant. New time in history? What does that even mean?!

Congrats!!! Mines tomorrow! I was August 20 with an EDD of May 2 that was changed to April 29 after first sonogram. I found out super early (before missed period) not cause we weren't trying (actually thought we missed) but because I was INCREDIBLY sick ... Not the best weekend- finally took a test on Tuesday and was like, "oh that's why!"

Thanks ladies. I was out at Rita's getting frozen ice with the SIL's trying to forget about her. It was Giant grocery store. I talked to the manager and she was less than helpful. I could call their supervisor, but I'm sure that would be a waste of my time. The manager said she would talk to her and then tried to be like did you try this, this, and that while breastfeeding. I'm done with the whole situation. People are just ignorant assholes.

Wow, I didn't think it could get any worse! A flips the fuck out today if she's anywhere but the boob. My MIL and both SILs tell me that a baby gets pretty much awful when they're teething right before they cut through, so hopefully this is it and in a day or two she won't be so difficult to deal with. x.x

I had plans to do the dishes and laundry today, but it looks like that's a huge NOPE, heh.

Now, if only I had some sort of VR/AR headset so I could at least play video games or something. Getting kind of burned out on Netflix. *gasp*

Write a letter/e-mail and send it to directly to the president of the company at the headquarters. You would be amazed at how fast complaints are addressed when they are sent to people at this level.

Yes, I went to a Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago, and a lady who worked there stopped me as I was leaving the store, asking me if she could search my purse (because she thought I had stolen something). I told her no and tried to leave. She grabbed me by my shoulders when I tried to walk past her, and when I tried to pull away from her, she grabbed the strap of my purse and took it away from me, not giving it back to me until I gave her permission to search it. She did all of this because of how she interpreted their "public notice." So I called the corporate office and complained, wanting them to make sure all of their managers (yes, the lady was a manager I later found out) and employees understood their public notice accurately. He insisted on giving me a gift card (after I politely declined the first time he offered) for my troubles. I went back there last week, and I saw that they no longer have their "public notice" on the doors anymore, and I haven't seen that manager there since then. So contacting upper management/corporate really does work!

Wow this upsets me even more! Not only is she not taking your very much justified complaint seriously, but she's preaching at you too??? It's none of her fucking business why you FF, and she should be addressing her employee's behaviour rather than the how's and why's of your child's foodsource! I'm fuming right now!

Ladies, I need your American advice...

I am a youth leader with St John, I don't know if you have that there, they are a volunteer ambulance service that also do cadets. We are planning on doing a Halloween Disco as a fundraiser for our camps over Christmas (summer here remember! lol)

I need all the American ideas on how decorate, music all that jazz and thought who better to ask than RTT'ers! We wont have pumpkins because its the wrong season but am open to any/all other ideas!

Lol @Vinny424‌ you're funny. It was a giant with the second label you posted. I'm not as committed as you though. They were older ladies with lots of opinions. Maryland is a very bitchy state with bitchy people. I'm sure those ladies will get fired for other things they open their big mouth about. She is a CUNT (yup, I said it), but I would hate to be responsible for someone losing their job and not being able to support and take care of their families. I care too much about other people and not enough about myself. X_X

I usually get treated well because I am polite. I guess this lady was just set in her ways.

@swerbtastic3351‌ you're right. There is no excuse. MD is okay and the people are okay sometimes, but everyone is always grumpy and in a rush at least where I live.

Eta- now I feel bad for being a pushover.

You were definitely not being a pushover! Your response was great; you stood up for yourself. Some people don't want to spend their time to see if something more can be done about it because, like you did, they'd rather just shake it off and move forward, which is totally fine. Think about it this way though: if you were to pursue further action, it might prevent someone else from being treated that way in the future. You can let whoever you speak with know that you're not looking to get her fired, but you want to make sure people are treated with decency when they shop there and that their store is being represented by friendly employees. If they decide to fire her, then that's not on you, but know that's not a guarantee if that's what you decide to do.

Andrew had been a hot mess all day. All day needing to be held or comfort nursed and NO NAP. 5 minutes before my DH gets home he starts smiling, giggling and wanting to play independently on his playmat. DH walks in and there is unfolded baskets of laundry everywhere, no dinner made, dog hair piling in the corners and a happy baby playing...he looks around and says "What did you do all day?" Uggggggggggh. Nothing. Absolutely nothing!
