As much as I like my nice, big breastfeeding knockers, I miss my cute little lacy vamp bra I used to wear. Maybe I'll see if I can get one in my current size, though it'll be useless if my boobs shrink back down after A is weaned. I wonder if I could pull off the DIY nursing bra thing...? Also, I assume it's probably bad to wear a push-up bra while lactating? Style I like is a push-up. =/

Nope, never heard of them. Probably expensive though? =/ To Google! Allons-y!

ETA: whew, yeah, I can't afford $40-$50 per bra. =/ They are nice, though.

It's so weird looking at old pictures of my DD. DS is really starting to resemble her when she was younger. Some of them almost cause me to do a double-take because I think I'm looking at DS even when I know I'm not. @-)

In other news, I love it when I go to feed DS while he is hungry but calm. The way his expression suddenly changes when the bottle or boob hits his lips is hilarious. It's like "oh hey, mom, I'm just over here relaxing, minding my own busi--HOLY SHIT THERE IT IS!" and latches on in .5 seconds.

I may be behind the times, here (wouldn't surprise me, lol), but looks like The Honest Company has a baby-tracker app out for free on the iPhone. Tempted to get it just in case I need/want to start tracking her stuff again. ^^

Feeling extremely fat today. Got on the scale this morning and I'm almost 10 lbs up from what I was when I went back to work 7 weeks ago. That's a lb a week. I really thought I'd loose weight at work because I'd be so busy...

I think I'm coming out of whatever funk I was in. I have no idea what went wrong but for the past week or so I couldn't get on top of my PPD/PPA. Whatever it was, I'm glad that I seem to be feeling much better this morning and I'm hoping it continues back in the direction.

Also, was to get out Saturday to some me time and it was nice.

My list of complaints:

Baby sounds horrible today. What I thought was a cold is getting worse . I am lucky he is happy still and his dr is in urgent care until 1 pm . Also lucky my mil is available to help me with transportation today as his dad has the other car seat base

I think the cold is killing my cucumber plants. There was finally a little cucumber and now it's gone . Tomatoes are huge but green

I actually ate sensibly for weight loss yesterday and lord dieting sucks . Went to bed and woke up hungry. I just want carbs !! Fruit for breakfast doesn't fill me up like a big bowl of oatmeal with banana and nut butter

Seriously considering buying Rocco 's pound a day book that I saw on Marilyn Denis . Seems like a lot of meals a day tho

A mom who lost 100 lbs after her third baby (and became a personal trainer) posts her workouts free on FB and YouTube. She does a new 90 day challenge every so often to just freshen up the routine for everyone involved. There's also a meal plan you can pay to access but it didn't look like it would work for me personally (TONS of meat - I can't afford that right now and it doesn't sit well in my body in large quantities anyway.) But yeah - free? At home? Eliminates a few of my excuses.

You can do them all at home and don't need fancy gear? I'm down with that!

Without my VW out front my house looks even more white-trashish. Why must mechanics gave so many jack stands? And air compressors? We have working compressors next to non working ones. It's like a Jeff fox worthy joke!

Same here...loved Donna! I had to stop watching with the Matt Smith + whoever plays the latest companion combo. Just started to feel too juvenile or something to me. I am looking forward to the new Dr.

My CDs smell of ammonia, and Harley has a very minor ammonia burn. Guess I'm going to buy a pack of disposables so I can spend the day stripping diapers. Awesome.

Cycle of having bangs:

"I think I want bangs."
2 months later- cut hair to have bangs.
6 months later- "I'm tired of having bangs, think I will grow them out."
4 months of maintaining bangs before committing to grow them out.
6 months of growing them out.
"My bangs are officially grown out."
2 days later- "maybe I want bangs..."

Repeat.

@snowbound‌, is it a common diaper rash? Have you just been using A&D? As soon as we were home from the hospital with C we set the A&D and all other diaper rash creams aside...and went to coconut oil. It's used for everything in our house and we love that its nothing but coconut oil. We buy the organic kind to use for cooking, etc so we just use that on C. It is wonderful, and I'm sure whatever rash your LO has could be cleared up with it. Best of luck momma! Sorry about the poopsplosion!

Thanks for the tip! I'll give that a try next time. He doesn't get them a lot but we've been spending a decent amount of time in the heat/car seat/stroller so I think that contributed to it.

@pineconey‌ I think it's more that her aunts don't know how to properly care for the cloth diapers, and leave her in them until they soak all the way through. And the diapers are drying out keeping the uric acid crystals in.

My wash routine is every other day, and one cold rinse, one hot wash with free and clear detergent, two more rinses.

I'm planning on doing one cold rinse, a hot wash with soap, three with nothing, a final with 1/2 cup vinegar, and a couple rinses. We have sift water, so the vinegar will be fine.

Everything was fine until I went back to work, but every weekend they have gotten consistently worse. May start sending her with disposables. (DH only works weekends, so she's only with others then, I have no set schedule.)
