Hi RTT Ladies,

First off, thanks for all of the support. I kept reading and rereading everything last night and this morning over my phone that tou al lwrote to me. So did hubster and it all means a lot.

I've "checked myself in," meaning I called my doc last night and said, "Hey, I need help and I want no control over it." He had hubster drive me to the hospital where I'll be until Friday afternoon for rest, relaxation and recuperation.

I fear I've relapsed in my ED and am in double fear that it's taking over and making me a less-than-awesome mom to Merriwether. My biggest fear as a mother is that she'll develop an ED at some point in her life. Me relapsing doens't help that situation, which is why I'm getting help. I've definitely enganged in ED behaviors and have become less than an awesome mom to Merriwether, putting my own selfish shitty needs before her sad, needy, totally normal crying.

I think I've just lost myself somewhere. I'm not me. I don't yet understand what it means to be a mom. i don't yet know how to incorporate the old me with this new me and it all sucks big, fat, hairy wang.

I'm seeing a counselor tomorrow and when I get back from vacation on the regular who specializes in PPD and PPA.

I get a whole hour on my compy to "check in with work" but of course, I'm bumping, too. You all are an awesome and amazing community and I wouldn't be here, taking care of myself without you.

It sucks I do'nt get to nurse my baby girl when she needs it. I get to see her 4 times a day. We are still planning on heading home on Saturday because it's been determined I'm not suicidal or wanting to cause her harm and that being with family where people can take care of both of us is the best thing.

How did it come to this?

PPD and PPA are a bitch. Like, the worst bitchiest things in the world. You know that girl in high school or middle school who made you feel like absolute shit because you didn't have the right hair cut and because you ran and sweated a bunch? Yeah...THAT'S PPA and PPD except it's all in your head and you have this amazing child to blame for it/take care of/love beyond all beilef.

Fucked. Up.

Like i said, I don't get a ton of compy time and they're pumping me full of sleepy shit (yaaaay...although, let's be real; we all know I'd rather just smoke a biiiiiiiig fat joint to be this calm and relaxed) so I'm bumping via phone which means I'm being a lurker and pretending to love tit everything.

I get to snuggle with Merriwether for the next hour so I'm gonna soak up. Every. Last. Bit.

I was just reading old posts and it made me sad to see so many recognizable names/avatars of posters who haven't been around since April.

Also, there is one person who hasn't been active since March and never said anything about leaving TB, so now I'm all worried about what happened with her.

Who? Perhaps someone still here is non-TB friends with her and can set your mind at ease.

I'm talking about @kateleestar. I know @aronie82 was her LB, and I swear I feel like we have asked after her before, but I can't for the life of me recall what the result was (if anything). Does anyone know?

When reading that recent post of digging up crazy A14 history, I clicked on some names of girls that were active but not on A14 anymore. I found that one of the girls lost her baby boy the day after he was born. She never posted again on A14 but did post her story on the loss board. I still think about her and feel so sad that she has to endure such a tragic event. Her name was Melody something.

I was getting soooo discouraged about my four mile walks and how difficult they've been! I can only go 3mph and push myself sooo hard to speed that up! I just figured out that the stroller with the bassinet weighs approx 30lbs, the baby weighs at least 10-12lbs and my purse a diaper bag are on the bottom! I'm pushing about 50lbs up and down hills! I feel much better, that'd be hard for anyone. Of course I told this to my wonderfully unsupportive husband who was so less than impressed. I'm really trying and I wish he'd recognize this. I'll recognize it for him and buy myself something super nice.

Melody*W*. She has since changed her Bump name, but is still around. My heart broke for her.

I was at Target today and a newborn was crying. I totally forgot how quiet and innocent those cries are in the beginning. Now DS screams like a banshee and has recently discovered his highest pitch.

I really need to figure out a form of birth control soon! 4 weeks until DH is here and I'm on nothing. Oops. We are meeting up and having a night away before DS1 sees him and never lets him leave again. I haven't had sex since G was born and I'm pretty nervous about this night away. I know he's expecting a romantic getaway and lots of sex. I just want to sleep an entire night.

When I pump in the middle of the night DH gives DS a bottle- I can sometimes get 3oz. It's still frustrating. I have almost no stash.

Um, I'm a manager at a restaurant with no changing table. If you changed your baby on one of our open tables, I would have a real issue with it. Pretty sure the health dept would too. Defriend away.

I haven't yet had anyone have to ask (or try changing on a table), but I would and have changed my little dude on a bench in our foyer room where the restrooms are. It's pretty deep since it's an old church pew, not in a dining area, regularly wiped down, and not the floor. Honestly before I had a baby I would have had less of a problem with the table but now I know how gross a diaper change can get (surprise pee or projectile poo) and people eat there. That sanitizer water we use to wipe tables is designed to clean up after prepared food waste, not human waste. And while I don't like or recommend it, people let their kids eat Cheerios straight off our tables.

Just lots of work yesterday and today plus a long trip of errands with the baby (including the most epic poopsplosion to date in the car seat.. OMG so much poo. Took me at least 20 minutes in the SAMs club bathroom to clean him up, he kept kicking in the poo!), and trying to carve out some married time. I'm glad to have a minute to myself to bump, this mama is tired!

FX crossed that tonight goes well. I laid G down, awake, in his pnp and he fell asleep without fussing. Please please sleep tonight!

I'm leaving on a week long trip tonight! Super excited to get to see family and friends. But I'm a little sad to be leaving my boys.

This will be the first time since DS1 was born that I've been away from either of them for more than a night. On the plus side...sleep!

Pretty sure no one asked. There was a small FB group of GD ladies that she was a part of. Her sister posted on her behalf saying she had lost the baby and needed to leave the group. That was the last I heard from her. Figured if she needed to cut ties, I wouldn't nose in and she would (or wouldn't) come 'round when she was ready.

Now that she posted on the other board, I would think a note asking her would be ok though.
