Well I don't hate today. Baby lady slept in til 7, then DH woke up with her and I slept way the hell in. Needed it. So much.

Just found a Sonic gift card, so we're having lunch there and then going for a hike to burn it off.

MIL asked to babysit tonight and is *giving US money* to go to dinner so she can have more time with LO. Uhhmm we can afford to go out to dinner, MIL, but thanks for the free money. Guardians of the Galaxy and margaritas= happy Mama!

I wish someone in my family cared enough about ds to take him and give me a break. I wish DH was home formore than an hour before ds goes to bed. I wish life wasn't this depressing. Bitch fest over.

I hate when DH is on call working weekends. I need a break from solo parenting as DS is driving me BSC.

Also T&P for my grampa- he just got out of a rehab facility yesterday and already fell again.

@dani+california‌ DH will not let me use a sitter off care.com until DS is older. He doesn't trust anyone with his son when he's this small, but he hasn't taken care of DS for more than 2 hours since he was born because he works too hard at his job /:) :-@

We took cookies over to the neighbors for their move. I was with the other mother, playing with her two year old in the other room while the guys chatted and DH had the baby. I come back in, and DH is sitting there eating a cookie. @-) Can't take him anywhere!

I was a sitter who found a great job on a website like that, and I'm TOTALLY not a creep-o baby thief. I just needed some extra $$.

Mother of the year:
Put DS down on his belly in his bed while I went to the bathroom. We don't do a lot of tummy time because he hates it, but he's been gassy and it has helped him in the past.
I was gone 2 minutes and I returned to him on his back. That's right- I missed his first full tummy to back roll because I was pooping.

Additionally, he peed up the front of his diaper in the process, so his bed is wet. I wanted to get the roll on video, so I put him back on his tummy in hopes he would do it again.

Now he's asleep. On his tummy. In the pee puddle.

Cool.

Sitting in a dark rom with a drink and chips and salsa, crying. It's 1pm.

This wahm shit is tough. I don't even know a solution I just feel really really irritable most of the time.

So aparently we've gone from "extreme drought" to "exceptional drought" I didn't know this was a thing. And I was so sure the next level was "Hell" lol

@mamrotu The only way I know to do corners is to serge all the way off one edge and then cut the threads and turn the fabric. I've played around with doing it more like a regular machine but it doesn't look very nice. Depending on the type of turn you might be able to stretch the fabric until its mostly straight and serge it that way.

I hope this makes sense.

I think part of the reason I feel like I should handle it, is bc we get a fair amount of help too- both our families live close.

At this point with work I can't even try to be a top performer anymore I literally just have to squeeze by.

Sometimes I feel like I will be stuck this way forever. I know I won't, but right now in the thick of it, it feels like it will last forever.

We just went to a city park and the grass was still soaking at 10:30am from the mornings' watering. Umm city, did you not get the memo!?! We are in a really bad drought.

Yes, it drives me nuts that business are exempt from the watering restrictions. If I am not allowed to water they shouldnt be either. I cannot wait to move! I will confess I'm terrified of moving cross country, and I am clueless about the east coast.

Sullivan has had it with me today. He's tired, under napped, his mouth hurts and mom can't fix it. He is currently crying it out in the PNP with his wubanub telling his woes to his only friend because he screamed harder when I was holding him. Poor kiddo, I wish I could make it feel better.

Just got back from taking dd to a bday party at Chuck E Cheese for one of her daycare friends. She had a blast. I've never been there before,and I wish it was a bit later so we could have had beer. I carried ds in the ktan or in my arms the whole time, since DH wasn't with me, and my arms are tiiiired. Kid is a hoss!
