Looks like I'm pulling an all-nighter. DD1s fever spiked to 103.7 so we are watching Harry Potter naked and drinking juice. You know your toddlers sick when they say no to ice cream.

Outlander was amazing! It made me interrupt the series I was reading to re-read the book because I couldn't wait.  Since I probably can't watch the show until I buy it I have to settle for the books.

It was the only thing I could get her to drink. It's actually coconut water with cherry juice, which according to the Food Babe doesn't make it any better. Oh well. Actually all she wants to do is nurse. She is so hot in my lap, so sweaty...

Apparently there's a meteor shower happening tonite. Can't see s*** here. Also disagree strongly with this super moon they keep hyping up.

The perseid meteor shower will last for several days. It happens around this time of year annually.

I'm totally a jerk, but DS is frustratingly predictable at bedtime. He will generally stay asleep in his bed about 30-45 min, then, right as I'm falling asleep, he will cry.

Well I was reading tonight and doing a few other things, and DH went to bed without me. I knew it was getting close to cry-time, so I took some extra time getting ready. Sure enough, DS started to cry and DH had to deal with it.

Don't care.

I've been there, but it has been years.  Looks like they have some interesting classes there.  I could probably benefit from taking the Sewing 101 class.  It would be good to learn how to really use my machine.

Just finished watching Outlander.  On the plus side, it was AMAZING!  The biggest downfall, I have to wait a week to watch the next episode.

I totally agreed! Was way better than I thought it would be! The cinematography was stunning and the acting fantastic! Can't wait to see how it goes. Oh an i loved how they had lines and stuff directly from the book. And the ghost! Yep im excited.

Haha Jessica went down at 8:15pm, woke at 8:30pm making heaps of noise and laughing. Got up to make a bottle, thinking she was hungry and she fell asleep again! Lol

He realized I was right so he gathered his composure and dove back in.

I think I'm saying screw you everyone else in my world and moving dd back to the swing. No one else has to get up with her at night and she is currently on 2 and a half hours in there. That's the longest she's slept in maybe 5 weeks. (Granted it's only been 2 of those in the crib. Which is on another floor from where I sleep)

You want a say? Get up with me every 3 hours. Yep, even you doc.

Pedi said we shouldn't be swaddling anymore but DS is not rolling yet and he sleeps in a pnp in our room so I'm keeping the swaddle. It's working so in keeping it until he tries rolling.

Baby colds suck. Having a cold when the baby has a cold is worse. DH working 16 hour graveyard shifts all weekend when we are both sick and causing him to be too exhausted to do anything? Fan-fucking-tastic.

Not only do I get to be miserable, take care of a miserable baby, I have to clean everything, too! Curses!

Ugggh, I woke up with a cold this morning. in AUGUST. WTF.  Just waiting for LO to catch it. I'm going to go buy all the things now - vaporizer, saline, snot sucker  - and hopefully i'll be out so much money she won't even end up catching it!

I've been camping at Assateague twice (for those of you far far away, that's beach famous for wild horses and infamous for mosquitos). My friend had to pry a container that said it was 100% DEET out of my hands when we went shopping for the second trip. She probably saved me from cancer or going blind or something, but damn was it tempting.

That place is INSANE with mosquitos.  Once time camping there, I stumbled out of my tent late at night to pee in some bushes.  I had about ten million bites on my butt the next day.
