I haven't personally tried it (maybe i should? Yolo!!!) but I read somewhere a long time ago that if you were trapped in a car like underwater, which is a huge fear of mine, to use the head rest and I've always remembered it.

I keep a life hammer in the console ($14 on amazon) that will break a car window and also has a protected blade on it for cutting seat belts or car seat straps for quick exit.

So MIL has been stalking me, or so I feel. She moved recently to a town 45min north of us when she used to live 10 mins away. But when she comes to town to visit my FIL (in a dementia home) she drives out of her way to look if I'm home. And a while back I took a trip to the coast. I hadn't even been home an hour when she called asking if she could come over. I hadn't told anyone I was returning that day. Now today she sends me a text which asked if she could share my Instagram picture. I had been posting to FB and only blocking her because she kept sharing my photos. Now the only people I told I was blocking her was this Ararat thread. I think my MIL is now stalking me on the internet! Am I being paranoid?

This is 100% reflection on me and not on any of the ladies who are working their butts off to get back into shape, but I just can't with the fit mom threads. Working 40 hours a week, doing all of the MOTN with the kid and spending all my awake and not at work time being mommy, keeping the house clean and making time to still be a wife somewhere in there... Yeah I don't know how you girls do it. I feel like shit about my body but I am tapped out.

That's me! It looks like we're shooting for a Metropark on Saturday, but it's still up for discussion and definitely not limited to one gtg. I'm making a Bump group so we can hash out details (we started a group pm earlier but I don't know how to add people to it now.)

@PoppySeedWindsor Hang in there! It gets easier as they get older. When DS1 was born I was sure my life was over. I was so miserable and felt like I was never going to be able to make it. But around the 3-4 month mark things really started to turn around. And I wasn't even trying to work from home at the same time!

Soo... DD ate at 8, fell asleep on me just before 10. I figured she'd sleep for 15-20 min and wake up to eat like usual, I could do our bedtime routine and have her down for the night by 11ish. Nope! She just kept sleeping. Finally swaddled her over her clothes and laid her in her crib at 10:45, figuring that would wake her up. Nope! She's still sleeping, 30 min later. Now I don't know if she'll keep sleeping through the night and I should just pump and go to bed, or if she's gonna wake up any second and need to eat then have her usual bedtime routine. Why don't babies tell you what they're planning on doing!?!
Guess it's time to pump and Bump :P
