I kind of want to start a baby blog, something like "The World: A Baby's Perspective". I'd take pics from a "baby" and post them with captions from my kid. Things like the ceiling fan ("my best friend!", the back end of the cat as she zooms by ("what is this thing?!"), a shot from tummy time perspective ("why does mama make me do this?"), etc.
Clearly I have too much time on my hands. Or it's the sleep deprivation piling up. If we're in leap 3, then leap 3 can kiss my ass.
The Honest Toddler and innocent infant already exist.
Ah. I didn't know HT did something like that, and I've never heard of the other one. ^^;;

I dreamt the DD2 was teething last night. In the dream her upper teeth were cutting me. So I look into her mouth and she was growing tusks! Truly bizarre.
I know a lot of RTTer's have dogs - My SIL just called me because she came back to my house after running errands and our dog had gotten into the trash. I threw away about 5 chicken drumsticks this morning and she said she couldn't see them in the bag or on the floor. Our dog is about 100lbs (Great Dane mix) and he's eaten chicken bones before but small wing bones not big drumstick bones.
She said he's acting fine and he peed/pooped when she took him out. She's there until my husband gets home from work at 5 so she said she'll let me know if he starts acting weird. Should we bring him to the vet tonight or just watch him? I was planning on giving him some white rice for dinner to help his stomach. I love him but he can be such a dink!
Coyotes and wild dogs here eat (and catch) chickens all the time. I have yet to find big piles of bones, so they have to be eating them. Our saint did this more than once, and that's very comparable to the GD.
Thanks @KendraColeslaw ! He'll eat anything so I'll give him some bread too. It amazes me what dogs can eat! Our dog before him was a 40lb pit bull mix and around Christmas she got on the counter and ate an entire 12 inch pepperoni plastic wrapper and all and was totally fine.
Catching up on 6 pages worth, apparently moving is time-consuming :P
Whoops, @mamrotu73, apparently I can't think first thing in the morning :-P I was thinking of @Mamamonzo - you're in GR right? Ever go to Rivertown Mall?

I'm starting to get major anxiety about the next few weeks. I don't know how im going to do everything and im petrified my supply is going to tank because of stress combined with starting the mini pill this week. B is doing this teething/growth spurt/sleep regression/ no nap thing and I can't get a thing done right now and I'm home all day with her. I'll be back to work 2 jobs and all the household stuff / daycare drop off and pick up since DH will basically be gone from noon Sunday- 4 on Fridays with games on Sat. I'll also be away from her for a weekend which stresses me out. .
I know others have a lot more on their area, but any advice?
1. Make lists. For each day. Heck, for each section (morning, afternoon, evening) for each day, if need be. Make them realistic and focus on what you can accomplish and what NEEDS to be accomplished. If it isn't vital THAT day, don't do it.
2. Give yourself 30 minutes every day to do something just for you. Do you meditate? If you haven't ever, check out Meditation Oasis. She has free podcasts that take you through meditation sequences. They're awesome and have really helped me with my anxiety over the past couple of years.
3. Make sure your partner is aware of your anxiety and that you can talk openly about it.
4. Ask for help. Or, if someone offers to help, TAKE IT.
5. Rely on us for emotional support. We're here for you lady!
Oh hi lovely ladies!!! I've been lurking, lots of traveling this week. We're about to leave to our first camping trip with LO. Kind of excited to eat s'mores and see the stars.
Tripping out. I keep seeing my sorority sister and college roommate on television...she started out doing commercials and now has her own series in Canada. I don't think I'll ever get used to that! Kinda neat...my mom's always like 'you should have pursued acting! That could have been you!' Not so much, but thanks mom! (Based solely on the fact that I created, directed and edited her video submission to a Much Music VJ search that kick-started her current career. Two totally different things but apparently my mom thinks I should have been the next Angelina as a result.)
I have to take a pregnancy test in the morning. Ugh. Obviously I'm not "late" since I don't know when I O'd, but I was expecting AF 2 days ago. We're using condoms, but nothing is 100%.
