Sometimes I think this, and then I realize that I can barely sew one straight seam a night on my straight seam quilt, and I realize there is nofuckinway I can make a diaper.  I'll stick with burp cloths.

My guess would be a second scrap of pul inversed on the inside of the diaper under the embroidery (based on this being how the lady who made my diapers waterproofs her snaps).

Those pillows are creepy as fuck to us, yes. But imagine you're a 3 yr old girl. My dd hoards toys in bed with her. She cuddles them, hugs them, and clutches them and wakes up immediately if you try to pry them out of her hands. A toy that hugs her back? Brilliant.

DD would LOVE a giant Cinderella pillow. She is also a hoarder and has a firm belief that every stuffed animal and blanket she owns she be in her toddler bed with her. We will be steering clear of walmart & to avoid that creepiness in my house.. In this picture you can see part of her bed. While she's on the phone with her new toms on. The norm

DS also only sleeps in a onesie. In fact he's mostly always in a onesie.. He hasn't been swaddled since his first week home from the hospital.

My friend gave me a large tote of clothing for DS.  Her son was born last fall so the sizes are a little off but with random chilly MN days and the fact that summer is usually so short I'm sure we'll be able to use a lot of these things.  It's like Christmas in here!

I bought these for our camping trip since DD wanted them. My mom took one bite, ran to the fire pit and threw up. I didn't think they were good, but I didn't think they were that bad.

Ugh, I put DS to bed 2 hours ago and I'm still up.  Why do I do this to myself?  I'm wasting precious hours of his deep sleep time.  In about 4 hours I'll be starting the "put the paci in" game every 30-60 minutes until morning.  I wish he could put it back in his mouth my himself or find some other way to soothe himself back to sleep.  All in good time I guess.

@Vinny424 If you go to Joann's they have a whole cloth diaper making section now. Their cloth diaper pattern book is a great resource for teaching yourself to make cloth diapers. Its how I taught myself anyhow!  

As for the embroidery leaking here is what I've been told...it doesn't. Since embroidery needles tend to be fairly small the holes seal up and its not an issue. But I imagine that you would have to use polyester thread only since cotton thread will wick moisture. But I don't have personal experience there

The watermelon Oreos aren't necessarily gross... But they aren't that good either. They taste like watermelon flavored gum in a cookie.

Well, DD's first night in the pack'n play and not the napper went well so far :-) She slept her normal long stretch, hallelujah! Feeding her now, then we'll see if she goes back down for a bit...

My DH is being a asshat lately because he's tired. He doesn't even wake up with DS. Anyone want to change DH's for a while.
